"Wake up, you useless girl!" I thought I was having a nightmare when I heard my mom's voice but I'm not wrong. I am having a nightmare. A living one.
"Mom? What are you doing here?" I sat up, throwing my blankets to one side. "Ow! Mom! Stop hitting me with your purse."
"Why did you let Yoongi sleep on the couch? How can you let my son-in-law sleep curved up like that?" My mom's yelling at the top of her lungs made me cover my ears.
"Then where am I supposed to sleep?" I screamed back.
"Don't talk back to me. Kneel and pray for your soul to be saved, you hateful girl." She said as she pulled me arm forcefully. "You should get a proper job and get married!"
From behind her, Yoongi sneaked up and talked to her for me, "I'm really fine. I insisted to sleep on the couch."
"Fine. I left some food for you. Eat it with Yoongi. I'm going to drive your brother to school." She finally left, leaving me some peace and quiet.
"What am I going to do with my life?" I fell back to bed and I closed my eyes. "I don't want to work anymore. I just want to be a housewife."
The bed dipped as Yoongi sat close to me. I sat up and flashed him a smile. He did the same, cupping my cheeks with both of his hands, "What are you thinking again?"
I held his hand and pecked his lips, "Thank you for last night. It was really hot."
"Cassie," Yoongi had both of my hands as his tone turn into a serious one, "I think we need to talk about that. Last night, I didn't know what I was doing myself. I'm afraid that if we keep doing this-"
"You're going to like it?" I gave him a wide grin and he did not try to defend himself, knowing that lying would only make his sins bigger. I sat up on my knees and ran my fingers at the back of his head, closing the gap between our lips. I nibbled on his lower lip before looking him in the eye, "You like doing dirty stuff with me, Yoongi."
"Cassie," He pulled away again and removed my hands from him. "I would really appreciate it if we don't go into that at this stage of our relationship." Yoongi looked me in the eye and it kind of made me feel like I'm the bad guy. He pulled me into a hug and whispered to my ear, "Because I do love you so much and that's all I want to do right now."

"Oh my God, Cassie!!" I saw a girl waving towards me as soon as I entered the restaurant. A smile was plastered on my face, excitement taking over as we shared hugs after not seeing each other since our high school graduation.
"Girl, you look good. What's your secret?" One of my best friends asked as I sat down next to her. "I feel ashamed being next to you. Are you maybe having some good sex?"
"I wish." I replied with a laugh then I cupped my hands over her ears and whispered something to her, "I'm still a virgin."
"No. You're kidding, right?" She gave me a look of doubt. "I've always thought you'd be the first one to lose your virginity in our group."
"Yeah, well, my boyfriend is a strong believer of sex after marriage." I shrugged my shoulders and smiled.
"Who takes that shit seriously?" She reacted exactly as I expected cause we have the same thoughts. "Bitch, who are you dating?"
"I think you can answer that for yourself." I gave her a knowing look. She was puzzled in the beginning then it came to her.
"You're still with that Pastor's son? Min Yoongi?" Her reaction sums it all up. Nobody would even imagine me sticking to one boyfriend in high school but Min Yoongi made it happen. "That explains the lack of sex. Sex is the best thing that happened to me. I pity you."
"I know." I said to her, accepting the drink she gave me, "I pity myself too."
"But you know, Kim Seokjin came today and he's looking fine as hell." She lowkey averted her gaze to the man on the table next to us. I met Jin's eyes and he smiled at me.
She nudged my elbow, "Didn't you have a thing with him before?"
"No, I don't." I told her. "We almost did because, at that time, Yoongi and him are both asking me out."
"And?" My friend wanted me to continue, "Did you at least make out with Jin?"
"No. I picked Yoongi." I smiled.
"You are so stupid to miss out on that adonis. Don't you know that how many girls would die to be in your place? To be liked by Jin?" She groaned and rolled her eyes at me, making me laugh.
"Oh nevermind. He's coming here. Go say hi." My friend nudged my arm, "I'm going to leave to give you two time to talk."
"Hey Cassie." Jin took his seat beside me, "How have you been?"
"Good." I replied along with a fake smile.
"I figured you'd feel good after that night." He smirked to himself. "I've never failed on making girls feel good with my mouth, you know."
"Seokjin, I want to make something clear between us. That night is a moment of weakness for me. I love Yoongi. I need you to understand that." I said to him, "You can mess with other girls. Just leave me the fuck out of it because I am serious with Yoongi."
A smile crept up along his lips then he nodded, "I understand. You want me to keep quiet. Well, we didn't really do anything serious but okay."
"You know, I've always liked you better than other girls but I guess I need this slap in the face every once in a while." He stood up, about to leave but he turned to me again, "By the way, you look great."
Yoongi arrived a few minutes later. Everybody who knew him were surprised to see him there, wondering why he was there in the first place. It was my friend's baby shower but it felt like a high school reunion. Yoongi was quiet in high school but he outgrew his shyness when we were in college and when he began to meet a lot people. Our old classmates still weren't used to him socializing and certainly not used to Yoongi and I together.
I held my friend's cousin's baby in my arms, busy admiring his bubbly cheeks. "Why are you so cute? I just wanna squish you so bad." I cooed over the baby. "Isn't he just adorable?"
"Don't squish him too much. The grandparents are just on the next table." Yoongi spoke in my ear, his arm protectively coming around my waist. "And yeah, the baby looks cute."
"See? There are good things that can come out from worldly pleasure, Yoongi. This baby is one." I told him, my face just inches from him. I want to kiss him but I know he doesn't like displaying our immense love for each other in public. An inappropriate act he says.
"Hold him." I placed the baby on his lap.
"I don't know how to hold a baby." Yoongi was awkward as I help him hold the baby.
"He won't bite you." I chuckled, "Just hold his back like that and he'll be fine. He's a good boy."
"Yeah, he is." Yoongi smiled down at him and it made me feel happy inside. When he got comfortable with the baby, he lifted him up to his chest. I was kinda sad with our talk this morning but I still love him so much. I think I can look past my own needs because of that. He's an honest man and I know that what he wants is for the best so I'm going to wait.
Yoongi returned the baby to his parents then I reached for his hand and intertwined our fingers together. He gave me a smile when I looked at him. It was the little things that made me love him like this, the little things that he would do for me that made me realize that it's worth it. The ring on our finger was not just a promise of our love for each other but also a promise to stay committed; a promise to wait until we're both ready.
This is what I get for falling in love with the Pastor's son. Min Yoongi is a cruel son of a bitch but I love him and I'd rather go to hell with him than be in heaven without him.
