So I totally caved. I couldn't let Bryn and Lane go yet, clearly. So a new chapter of their life for you. Hope you enjoy!!!!!!!

*************************************************************************************

I lay in bed and looked over at Lane who was grinning from ear to ear. He was playing with the boys, who lay between us on the bed. He was always so adorable when he was around our twin boys. Ever since the beginning he wanted kids. It was programmed into him to have heirs and being the Alpha only drove it harder.

We were more than shocked when we found out I hadn’t lost the pup but was carrying twins. It was a miracle and no one could give any sort of explanation besides the Old Wolves. They had blessed Lane and me enough that it didn’t surprise us.

************************************************************

“What do you mean twins?” Lane practically shouted to the pack doctor. “That’s not possible.” He ran his hands through his hair and looked as if he was about to lose it.

I quickly cleaned off my stomach and went to him. “Lane it’s ok.” I cupped his cheeks. “We can handle twins. Besides I thought you wanted more than one.”

“Oh Bryn I love you!” He picked me up and spun. “Twins! Soon enough we’ll have two pups.” He kissed me roughly on the mouth. “Oh babe you’re amazing.”

Glancing over at the pack doctor I saw she was trying not to laugh. Most people would freak out if they knew they were having twins but Lane looked like the happiest man on the planet. Also seeing her very strict, emotionless Alpha dancing around like a fool was a sight no one else would probably believe.

“Ok Lane you have to put me down. I can’t take anymore spinning.” I clung to him hoping he would stop.

“Do you know how strong twins are? Bryn our pack will be unstoppable! And our son will have a twin to back them up. This is wonderful.”

Unlike Lane I worried of what could happen. Twin boys? They would both fight to be the next Alpha and the second son would probably hate his brother just for being born sooner. And then there was the thought of two pups. I would have to give birth to two and raise two at the same time. It sent a shiver down my spine.

“Babe I don’t know how many times I have to tell you but you’ll be a great mother,” Lane whispered in my ear reading my fears. “You are a she-wolf, it’s programed into you to have pups and better yet you’re a Luna, you’re the mother of all of us.”

“He’s right you know,” said the pack doctor. “It’s programed into the males to have pups and the females to raise them. Luna you will be a wonderful mother.”

I rolled my eyes at her. “You’re only saying that because Lane said so.”

She laughed and set us off. Lane couldn’t stop grinning from ear to ear. He kept glancing at my stomach and if I hadn’t know any better I would have thought he was giddy but I could never picture Lane giddy. He was the tough strong Alpha that up until me most wolves feared and still did. He was still a hard man but once he set his mind on something, nothing could stop him. He was a true Alpha.

“Do you remember that first night in the hotel?” I asked.

He stopped smiling like a little boy in a candy shop and grinned smile of a man thinking of his lover. “I do, what of it?”

I shrugged. “I don’t see how you put up with me. You knew my wolf wanted to go with you and I fought you yet every time you touched me I was helpless. I must have driven you mad.”

“Babe you do.” Lane reached over and squeezed my knee. “My wolf went crazy and I forced my Claim on you. I felt so bad afterwards but all I could see was red after you talked on the phone and I had to make you see you were mine. You know I still wish I hadn’t done that.”

“Pull the car over,” I demanded.

Lane gave me a glance before he pulled the car over. “What’s going on? Did I…” But I cut him off as I turned on the radio and crawled into his lap. He chuckled. “I do remember the first time you did this.” His hands ran up my legs and up under my shirt. “I also remember that cop pulling us over and you topless.”

“Mhhh. Good times.” I kissed his neck and made my way up to his ear. “I couldn’t deny you even for a day. Your Mark had seeped into me by then and I knew I had to calm my Alpha, to please my Alpha…” My tongue trailed along his earlobe.

Suddenly Lane grabbed my hair and jerked my head back. “Bryn you know what happens when you call me that.”

“Yes I do… Alpha.” And then his mouth was on mine burning me with fire from his touch. I wondered how we would be able to separate ourselves for the pups. We couldn’t just be going at it all the time once I had them. Though I had a feeling the giddy Lane would come back and all he would want were his pups.

************************************************************

Our first son we named Brent while the second was named Ray. I knew Ray told me to forget about him but Ray was my cousin and I couldn’t. He gave his life for Lane and I and the least I could do was name my son after him.

Lane glanced over at me and smiled. “Thank you.”

I rolled my eyes. “You have to stop thanking me for having children. You know you had some say into them too. It’s not like I made them all on my own.”

“But you did most of the work. All I ever did was fill you with my seed.”

“Oh god don’t put it like that.” I shook my head. “That just takes the beauty out of children.” I shuttered. “You are so weird.” Reaching over I lightly kissed him before sitting up. “I’m going to go take a bath. Mind watching them?”

“When have I ever minded?” He smiled but nodded. Lane was truly a perfect mate. I loved him so much and I knew he loved me and our sons.

Slipping into the warm water I felt my body relax. Thankfully the boys weren’t as bad as most children and they mostly slept or loved being the center of attention. Ray would let anyone hold him but Brent was more stubborn. Only certain people could hold him and Lane was the only one who could calm him down most of the time but I figured that was because he was the next Alpha.

Closing my eyes I felt sleep edging it’s way to me till I was all but consumed by it.

Lane rolled on top of me. “Oh baby,” he groaned as his hands ran up my bare body. “I missed you so much.” Lane’s silver eyes bore down into me. “Though I can’t believe you were with Rail… you betrayed me.”

I reached up and cupped his cheek. “Lane you know I wasn’t myself and I never did anything with him. I’m still yours. I will only ever be yours.”

“I know.” His lips brushed against mine and I sighed into the kiss. I had Lane back. He was alive and safe. Rail was gone and we had our family.

Something dug into my chest and I broke the kiss to see a dagger sticking out of Lane’s chest. I screamed and his lips moved to talk but wolfsbane spilled from his mouth like blood down on me and burned my bear skin.

“Lane!” I reached up and tried to pull out the dagger but wolfsbane grew out from the wound and latched onto my wrist, the green stems with black leaves burned angry red lines on my skin. I screamed as I fought off the wolfsbane but it wound it’s way up my arm and around my neck till it plunged in my mouth.

“Bryn! Bryn wake up!” Lane shouted. He grabbed my shoulders and shook me. “Bryn listen to me you’re sleeping. You have to wake up!”

My eyes flew open and I saw Lane standing over me covered in water and blood. I latched myself to him and fought not to cry but it was no use. My body shook with every sob but Lane held onto me and whispered that I was ok till I calmed down.

Ever since I had turned back on my emotions I had nightmares when I didn’t sleep with Lane. He always died and I lost it. We had to be careful because I normally hurt myself and Lane was worried I would lose the pups.

“Hey you’re ok,” Lane said as he kissed the side of my head. “I’m ok, we’re ok.”

I looked down at myself and saw I had clawed my arms as if wolfsbane had actually been on me. Long deep claw marks ran up and down my arms spilling too much blood for a human to survive but slowly the wounds started to heal.

“Bryn…” I heard the worry in Lane’s voice and shook my head.

“I’m fine, I just fell asleep and had a nightmare.” I pulled away from him. “There’s nothing to be worried about.”

“Nothing to be worried about?” he nearly shouted. “Bryn you’re having nightmares that are causing you to hurt yourself to the point where if I wouldn’t have woken you I’m afraid you would have killed yourself.” His fingers traced over my neck. “You were about to cut your throat.”

“Lane what’s wrong with me?” New tears streamed down my cheeks and I buried my face in his chest. His scent calmed me though it was mixed with my blood.

“You’re still recovering.” He stroked my hair. “You turned off your emotions and you thought you lost the pup and me. You just have to give yourself time to heal. But…”

I shook my head. “No buts. I can’t be like this. We have two sons and I could hurt them. What if I fell asleep with one of them and had an episode. I could kill them.”

Lane cupped my face. “From now on I’ll come home for lunch so if you need it you can take a nap. I’ll look after the boys and you.”

“Oh what would I do without you Lane?” I reached up and kissed him. “You’re beyond amazing. Everything you do is for our sons and me and I’m truly blessed to have you as a mate.” I smiled up into his silver eyes. They were so strong, just like him. Everything about Lane spoke of an Alpha but then again he was an Alpha and the Old Wolves had blessed him.

“And I am blessed to have you too. You forget you’ve done more for me and I have for you. But I’m glad to hear you think you’re blessed to have me since at first you hated me,” he teased. “You even tried to fight me but as soon as I touched you, you became puddi in my hand.” His massive arms wrapped around me and I giggled. He was so big that I almost looked like a child next to him.

We went back in the bedroom when to boys started to complain. Even though they were only two months old they were little angels. Lane picked up Brent and I took Ray and we went outside. I had carried them for three months before they were more than willing to come out and join the pack.

The spring wind sent the smell of flowers up to us and Ray giggled in my arms. He was such a happy baby and I was thankful for them to have each other. I had always hated being an only child but I knew the boys would always have each other.

“Bryn don’t be so optimistic. Brothers normally fight for Alpha position and since they both have the mark I’m worried. How is one supposed to be Alpha if they both have it?” Lane asked.

My family was a direct decedent of the first wolf and as such we held the power to lead and it showed by a birthmark, a crescent moon. I had one on my ankle signaling my power to lead and both the boys had them, Brent’s on the back of his right shoulder and Ray’s was on the left. It was the only noticeable difference about them but Lane had a point. The marks meant they were both supposed to be Alpha but we only had one pack.

“Maybe Ray will be mates with a female who is the daughter of an Alpha, like me. He could in theory move to that pack and be Alpha there,” I tried. “But I wouldn’t want him to move.” I held him close to my chest. “I know how hard it is to be Alpha and Ray will probably hate Brent for being just a few minutes older and thus the next Alpha…”

“Whatever happens is meant to be. The Old Wolves have been behind us with everything else I don’t think they would turn their backs on us now.” He smiled and held up Brent. “We’re family and no matter what family sticks together.”

“They look just like Lane when he was just a baby,” Emily said as she leaned over the cribs. “Lane was such a good baby. He never once cried at night. The moment I laid him down he was out like a rock.”               Emily was Lane’s mother and the closest thing I had to a mother. She was such a sweet little woman who was always happy. The only time I had seen her sad was when we thought Lane had been killed.

“You two made some good looking boys.” Jim nodded his head. “Though with Bryn looks how could they not be.” He clapped Lane on the shoulder. “Even if you were ugly your mate still would have had adorable babies.”

Lane rolled his eyes. “And the fact that Mom just said they look just like me means nothing to you.”

Emily pulled me to the side as they boys talked. “Are you ok? You don’t look like you’re getting enough sleep.”

I laughed even though it was fake. I couldn’t tell Emily I was having episodes about Lane dying and nearly killing myself in my sleep. Instead I played off the lack of sleep on the boys. “Emily you do realize I just had twin baby boys? What new mother gets proper sleep?”

She frowned as if she didn’t believe me but it quickly faded and her brown eyes smiled. “Well why don’t you bring the boys over tomorrow and you can rest tomorrow.” She squeezed my hand. “Besides I’m sure you and Lane would like some alone time.”

Quickly I shook my head. “NO!” I blurted but quickly recovered. “I mean you know what it’s like to be a new mother. I don’t want them out of my sight.” I glanced back over at them and Lane caught my eye.

“Bryn are you sure you’re ok? You haven’t been yourself since you two came back…”

“Of course I’m not!” I snapped. “I lost my mate and my pup. Do you really think it would be that easy to get over? Besides Ray died for Lane and I so no I’m not ok!”

Lane was quickly at my side touching me. His thumbs rubbed against my arms. “Hey why don’t we go home? The boys look tired and I think we could do with some down time. Mom I would love it if you took the boys for a few hours tomorrow. I’ll bring them over around nine.”

“What are you doing?” I barked at Lane through our link. “I need them. They keep me awake.”

“We’ll talk about this is the car,” was all he said.

I kept my eyes on the woods as we drove. I was mad at Lane for letting Emily watch over the boys. I knew it was normal and she wanted to but I needed them. I was so tired and they were the only thing that kept we awake and maybe the only thing that kept me alive.

Reaching over Lane took my hand. “Tomorrow is a rest day for you. Ever since we came back you’ve been going two hundred percent and you need rest. I’m going to take the day off and I’ll stay in bed with you so you can sleep. Without the boys and work I won’t have to worry about getting up and leaving you.” He brought my hand up to his lips and lightly kissed it. “I know you don’t like it but we both know you can’t keep going on like this and I don’t want you to.”

“Even though I know you’re right it pisses me off.” I took my hand back from him and crossed my arms.

He chuckled which sent a shiver down my spine. “I think most of the thing I do piss you off but you still love it.”

“It’s only because what you do is normally right.”

                “You said it not me.”

I relaxed and looked back at the boys. They were fast asleep in their car seats and I smiled. We really had made some good looking boys.  Brent would grow up to be a heart breaker while Ray would be there for the girls. Somehow I knew Brent would be just like Lane but Ray would be more open with his emotions.

“I wasn’t a heart breaker,” Lane said teasing me.

Raising an eye brow I looked back at him. “Yes you were. I’ve heard stories.” I squeezed his arm. “But as long as I’m the one that got you in the end that’s all I care about.”

“You more than got me.” He leaned over and kissed my cheek.

Once home Lane went off into his office to work while I went about getting the boys ready for bed. Bathing them was so cute. They would both splash around babble to each other. Of course I normally was cleaning up water everywhere but they were just so adorable I couldn’t stop them.

“Aww well aren’t they cute,” Kylee said as she poked her head in the door.  “Though that’s one hell of a mess.”

                “Langue,” I hissed.

She waved her hand at me. “Oh like they know what I’m saying and all wolves have colorful langue. We all cuss so they might as well start young. You did.”

I rolled my eyes at her. Kylee was truly one of a kind. We had been together since birth till Ryan stole her away from me but once I came to the Moonlight pack I was happy to be reunited with her. She was the true meaning of girly girl with long brown hair and blue eyes. Every chance she got she would dress up and was always happy

“You’re a trouble maker.” I started to dry Brent while Kylee dried Ray.

“Umm if I remember correctly you’re the trouble maker, I just help push you in the right direction,” she replied with a smile.

“More like the wrong direction.” We took the boys into their room and I told Lane we were putting them down.

“Kylee just tried to play mate matcher,” Lane said as he came in.

She laughed. “Even though without me you guys might not have met yet. I am the one that sent you to go find her.”

Lane shrugged. “I was already planning on going before you told me about her.” He kissed my forehead. “Tough she found me even before I was able to make it a mile into the territory. She came to me.”

I rolled my eyes. “No, I knew someone was trespassing. As much as you might play it over and over in your thick skull I didn’t come running into your arms.”

“Hmm,” he mused. “I will now.”

“Yeah became I’m that type of she-wolf.”

“Damn.” Kylee laughed as we left the boys to sleep. “You tell him.”

Lane wrapped his arms around me and kissed the Mark. “I know you’re not. If you hadn’t been fighting me the whole time I might have gotten bored.”

Kylee shook her head. “Ok well I’m out of here before you two kill each other.”

“Oh dear Alpha you could never get bored of me.” I smirked at him as I ran my finger down his chest. “You’ll always be coming back more from me because you’ll never get enough.”

Lane roughly pressed me against the wall. “I could have you over and over again you’ll be the one begging for more. You little Luna are the one that’s never fully satisfy.” He forced my hands up and held them above my head with one hand while the other wrapped around my neck. “No matter how many times you climax you always want more.”

I swallowed and felt his hand around my neck. “So are you going to give me what I want? What we both want?”
