I shook my head, "Sebastian are you drunk?"
"No, let me take you on a date."
"I'm not going on a date with you." I said as I flipped through channels.
He sucked his teeth, "Why not?"
"You have a girlfriend that you can't seem to let go." I rolled my eyes thinking about that little episode he put on last night at the bowling alley.
"Then why did I just break up with her?" He said in a matter of fact tone.
"Negro, you did what?" I sat up on my bed now that he had my attention.
"I'm not going to keep repeating myself."
"And I'm not going on a date with you."
The line got silent and then I heard him huff, "Why not?"
"Because I don't want to date you. I like girls Sebastian."
He let out a hyena laugh into the phone, "You like girls? Baby you crack me up."
"I'm serious."
"You like girls but we was just fucking this morning and last night and the night before that then there was that time between my classes-"
"Okay Sebastian. What's your point?"
"My point is you like dick, well mines at least." He chuckled making me roll my eyes at his arrogance. "So let's delete the whole lesbian mentality you have going on. Let's be honest, when's the last time you been in contact with one of them bitches you got in your phone?"
"...I don't know."
"Exactly!"
"Let's get something straight, you're not all that good."
"God don't like liars. So when am I coming to pick you up?"
"I'm not going on a date with you."
"Okay." He simply said before the line went dead.
"No he did not just...niggas." I shook my head as I placed my phone on the nightstand.
I went back to my reruns snuggling under my covers. Hazel was still gone and I was alone, bored in this quiet apartment. Hours went by and I began to doze off, but the ringing from my phone woke me up.
"What?"
"You're going to stop answering the phone like that when daddy calls you." Sebastian's voice came through the phone.
I rolled my eyes, "What do you want? You hung up on me earlier."
"Open the door." He told me.
"What?"
"Are you going deaf or something? I've been repeating myself to you all day. Get your ass up and open this door."
I huffed as I hung up on him and flung the cover off of me to make my way to the door. It's too late for him to just be popping up at my house. I opened the door and he welcomed himself inside.
"What is all of that?" I pointed at the bags in his hand as I shut the door.
"Well I have Poetic Justice and Belly, I didn't know what you wanted to watch. I got Sour Patches and Cheetos, your favorite." He sat the on the counter and I felt a smile form on my face. I was...blushing.
"How did you know those were my favorite?"
"Because I noticed you're always eating it. That's a weird combination, but if you like it I love it." He shrugged. "Snacks and Madden if you you can hang."
"And why did you do all of this?"
"Since you won't let me take you on a date then we're going to have one here. Besides, I never made it up to you for missing our movie night."
I placed my hands on my hips, "You're not taking no for an answer, are you?"
"Now you're getting it." He smiled. "So what we watching?"
"Belly." I said and he nodded his head in agreement. "Just know I don't fuck on the first date."
"We'll see."

"Bash, you cheated." I whined.
"No I didn't. Take that L baby." He pinched my cheek and I slapped it away. "Don't be like that, give me a kiss."
"Maybe I don't want to give you a kiss." I crossed my arms pouting.
"Really? Okay." He bent down and kissed all over my face then my lips. "You like making things difficult."
"I hate you." I got up and went to the kitchen and turned on the oven.
"I hate your mean ass too."
"Then why you over here? Huh?" I stuck my tongue out at him and he licked it. "Gross."
"You like that stop playing."
"No I don't because I don't know where your mouth has been." I took out two boxes of DiGiorno supreme pizza from the freezer.
"Yes you do." He smirked.
"Sebastian...shut up." I bent down to put the pizza in the oven and I felt Sebastian press himself against me. "Move."
"You can't be bending over and expect me not to do something." He licked his lips when I faced him.
"Shut up." I mushed his face as I walked away.
He came up behind me and lifted me off the ground nearly giving me a heart attack.
"Put me down now Milo." I kicked my legs.
"Ooh we calling out middle names. Alright Essence." He threw me over his shoulder and grabbed a handful of my butt.
"Sebastian!" I laughed, smacking his back.
"I love when you scream my name."
"Put me down now you fucker."
He slapped my butt making me hiss from the stinging sensation.
"Bash." I whined as he sat me on the counter with a smug look on his face.
"Don't call me names." He smiled before laying a kiss on my lips. "Now hurry up with this pizza so I can whoop your ass again in Madden."

I woke up locked in Sebastian's arms and to rapid knocking on the front door. When I moved to get up he held me tighter.
"Where you going?" His raspy voice ringed through my ears as he poked one eye open to look at me.
"To answer the door."
"They'll go away."
I relased myself from his grip and he groaned as I got up to go answer the door. To my surprise it was Londyn, a battered Londyn at that.
"What happened to you?" I asked as I let her inside.
"I'm sorry for coming." She wiped her tears. "I didn't know who to go to."
"Londyn, what happened?"
"I-I told him that I got rid of the baby and he got angry. He told me he didn't want a baby."
I pulled her to the kitchen and grabbed a rag to clean the blood from her nose.
"Damn Lon, how you gonna let a nigga put his hands on you like this?" I shook my head at the bruises on her arms.
"What could I do?"
"Who did this to you?"
"His name is Tobais."
