Let's Start With Four Words:
I Told My Mom

I finally did it. The last Saturday of winter break was my date. I had been the bravest person I could ever be and it was the most frightening feeling I had when I told her.

We were watching the new "King Kong" movie on TV with the lights out, my dad was at work and the movie was boring since the moment they loose the girl inside the jungle. I was very nervous, I was really shaking by the fear. Then, I spoke.

-Mom, I need to tell you something- I threw with a shaky voice

-What's wrong?- she asked worried

-It's not a bad thing- I said, my hands were shaking

-Well, then tell me- she demanded

-I'm Bisexual.

•••

I remember being like nine years old and crying for my crush of that year, my mom saw me and took me to the kitchen. She sat me at the allowance and dried my tears.

-Promise me you will never cry for a stupid boy again Amy- she said

-I don't know...- I said and she smiled

-Promise me honey

-I promise- I said and she laughed

-what do you promise?

-That I'll never cry for a stupid boy again

-That's my girl- she said hugging me

•••

-I don't understand, How do you know this?

-I realized that I like girls and boys equally- I said almost crying

-Honey, in my opinion, you have to choose one but, if you feel this way I will support you even though it means that you'll suffer more than anyone else- I started to cry in silence, that hurt

-Okay- I said wiping my tears

-Come here- she said opening her arms -Why were you so afraid?

-I thought you'd be disappointed in me- I said

-Why? I am proud of you Amy- she said

-I love you mom- I said

-I love you too little girl.

She also sent me to a psychologist where I could understand myself and work everything out. We spoke about another bunch of things and she wasn't very proud of me being bi but she was processing it.

She still loves me, that's all I wanted, AA.
