'Yeah right babe, i'll see you later' he said thinking I was joking
'Shit Sebastian I'm not fucking around there are about 50 pairs of red eyes staring back at me from the backyard' I said not taking my eyes off of them and keeping my facial expression stotic
'Put the pack on lockdown, we're on our way!' Sebastian said
'I need everyone to head to the upstairs master bedroom now!' I said through the pack link
'Yes Luna' everyone replied before I heard heavy footsteps of the pack members stumbling out of bed and following my order
Apparently the rogues heard them too because all at once they ran towards the house. Without thinking my hands flew up and the house was surrounded by a huge blue bubble.
The wolf who looked to be the leader stayed behind and watched as the rogues charged at the force field only to get electrocuted and bounce back off. Some thought they would be smart and dig their way under it which didn't work as the bubble only went deeper into the dirt the more they dug.
"Luna Amberlyn Rosemarie Casanova soon to be O'Donnell" the evil looking man said walking towards the window I was standing in front of
'Luna what is going on?' one of the pack members asked
'Look out the window' I replied
"Who the hell are you?" I asked the man
"I am the leader" he said as an evil smile spread across his face "Of the rogues that is" he added when I looked at him blankly
My expression turned from bored to annoyed "Then how about you keep your dogs away from my pack" I said causing the rogues to look up at me and growl
"Aw I'm sorry did I offend you?" I asked feigning remorse
They growled again and I smiled flicking my finger away from the house making them fly towards the woods, hitting trees and being pinned to the ground as the warriors arrived with Sebastian.
I looked back towards the leader to find the spot where he was standing empty. Upon Sebastian's command the warriors released the rogues and they ran away with their tails between their legs.
I let the blue bubble fall away and within 2 seconds I was wrapped in Sebastian's arms. I could hear him still growling beyond pissed.
"Seb look at me" I said sensing that he was on the verge of losing control
The warriors looked between me and him nervously, ready to step in and protect me if need be.
Sebastian continued to glare into the night. I gestured for the warriors to go inside 'You all can tell the pack they can come out now, their in the 2nd floor master bedroom' I said through the mindlink
'Are you sure Luna?' one of them asked
'Positive, go' I said knowing Sebastian wouldn't hurt me
They left reluctantly and went inside. I could feel Sebastian getting angrier and figured that if he wasn't going to listen to me I might as well let him go take his anger out on something.
I stepped out of his tight grip and the gold eyes of his wolf instantly darted to mine.
"Sebastian you need to calm down" I said looking up at him
He took a step towards me and I matched it taking a step away from him "Mine" his wolf said trying to grab me
"I know I'm yours but-"
Before I could finish my sentence Sebastian had me pinned against the side of the house with his lips attacking mine. I let Bri take over since he ovbiously was not planning on listening to me.
"Hey wolfie, calm the fuck down" Bri said pushing him off of us
He growled looking back at the trees "They threatened my pack, my mate, my family" he growled
"Which is why you need to calm down so you can think straight enough to figure out a plan" Bri said
Sebastian looked me in my eyes "Do not follow me, keep the pack safe in my absence, and do not allow any pack members to follow me" he said in his Alpha tone
Bri nodded unable to refuse and he pushed me into the house gently and closed the door between us before shifting back into his wolf and darting off into the woods.
"Fuck!" I said taking control back and pushing myself to follow him to no avail due to Bri fighting me tooth and nail unable to resist the Alpha tone like I can
I walked into the kitchen and turned on the faucet splashing my face with cold water.
"Luna where is Alpha?" Someone asked
I looked up to see the whole pack standing in front of me. I sighed "He went after the rogues"
They gasped and the warriors prepared to leave "No one is going anywhere" I said standing in front of them
"But Luna there were over 50 rogues out there, it's highly unlikely he will be able to handle them alone" one of the warriors argued
"I know" I said running my fingers through my hair "But he demanded that I nor any of you follow him and even I can't go against his order"
"Amber where are you're pills?" Emily asked
"Are you sick Luna?" someone else asked
"I don't even know if we brought them and no I'm not sick" I said "Everyone just relax until your Alpha gets back, I don't know what he plans to gain from this stupid plan of his but stressing is not going to equal answers." I said "You all need sleep anyway, we will still proceed with the prep plans tomorrow morning which is in a few hours"
The crowd took a moment to digest my words before they went their separate ways. There was an unspoken understanding that no one was to go outside so some tried their luck on getting some sleep, most went into the living room to try to take their minds off of everything with the TV, and the others went to work getting a head start on their prep for tomorrow.
I walked over to the window and searched the tree line for any sign of Sebastian. It was stupid of him to go after those rogues, they could easily outnumber him in a fight resulting in him being badly injured or dying. Both of which I'm not sure the pack or I can handle again.
"Luna" Jace said walking up behind me with our friends
He tossed me my pills and Emily handed me a bottle of water
"We don't need you passing out on us just because our Alpha is a dumb ass" Emily said "You're seriously going to get frown lines if you don't relax" She added
"I'm not sure I know how to anymore" I said taking a sip of the water to wash the pill down
"If he was hurt wouldn't you feel it?" Bella asked
I shurgged "Sometimes I feel his emotions or pain of he's training but most of the time I don't since we aren't mated" I said
"With how close you two are, you'll definitely feel if he's hurt" Elijah said
I nodded and busied myself by grabbing the binder and going through it crossing off everything we've already purchased and making a new list of things my group needs to prepare.
About 2 hours later my group had made breakfast for everyone since no one could go back to sleep and after we ate everyone sat around.
I could feel the pack looking at me for any sort of clue on weather or not their Alpha was hurt.
I felt him get battle wounds but they were nothing too serious. Bri was having a hard time fighting against her instincts to obey the order, and me wanting to go after our mates, and the longer he was gone the more worried she got.
Another hour later the sun had risen and pack members began to get dressed for the day. By now the whole pack knew I was on the verge of cracking and going after him. Just as Bri was about to give in the front door slammed open and Sebastian strolled in.
His clothes were dirty and there were dots of blood sprinkled all over his skin. I was both angered and relieved to see him standing in front of me and when he caught my eye he knew I was pissed.
"Babe-" he began
"Shower" I said turning and walking back into the kitchen
I grabbed his breakfast and followed him up the stairs
When I walked into our room I could hear him already in the shower. When he came out my glare faltered as beads of water rolled down his chest dissipearing into his towel when they reached his waist.
After I realized what I was doing I quickly averted my eyes to his face to see he was smirking.
"Get dressed and eat" I said angrily
"In kinda liking angry Amber it's pretty sexy" he said walking over to me and pecking my lips.
"Sebastian!" I said pushing him away from me
He chuckled holding his hands up "Fine"
He put on his clothes and sat on the bed to eat waiting for my rant to commence.
"Sebastian" I said
"I know babe and I'm sorry" he said
"No Sebastian you don't know, first you used your Alpha tone on me and of all things to let you go out and chase after rogues! You could have died then what would we have done?! Do you know the whole pack stayed up all night worrying about you!" I fumed "Do you not realize how dangerous that was? Then you come back all dirty and covered in rogue blood and the only thing you have to say is 'I know babe I'm sorry'?" I say imitating his voice
Sebastian puts his now empty plate on the night stand and takes a sip of water before walking over to me.
"I love you too" he said pulling me into his chest
All my anger melted and I was left with a bunch of what if's. The reality of this situation is that I can't live without Sebastian and he knew that.
"All that matters now is that I'm back and I'm perfectly fine" he said kissing my forehead
"No you're not you're tired and you need more food, lay down I'll go get-"
"Amber" he said cutting off my rambling
I met his eyes and he flashed a charming smile "I'm fine"
"Ok" I said looking up at him "promise me you won't ever do something like that again"
"I won't do that again unless it's completely necessary" he said
"Eclipse too" I said
"Who's Eclipse?" He asked
"Well you never told me your wolf's name so I'll name him Eclipse" I said shrugging
"His name is Dorian" he said before letting his wolf take over
He immediately picked me up and sat on the bed causing me to straddle him as we sat chest to chest.
"Hi" I said with a smile
He growled lowly flipping me over so I was under him and he was leaning over me. He was glaring at the door intensely so I leaned up turning his face to me softly and kissing him.
He immediately responded passionately kissing me like I was the most precious thing on earth. I pulled away and blushed hiding my face with my hair and he let out a deep chuckle.
"You're so cute" he said uncovering my face "can I mark you soon?" He asked
I looked up at him "promise you won't use your Alpha tone on me"
"I promise" he said getting off of me and facing away from me looking at the ground
I stood up and walked over to him standing in between his legs.
"I'm sorry" he said looking at me with a completely devastated look in his sparkling gold eyes
"For what?" I asked concerned frowning
"I made you worry and be mad at me" he said "I understand why you don't want me to mark you"
"Dorian-" I said
"No call me Eclipse" he said quickly
"Eclipse I already forgave you for leaving and I'd love for you to mark and mate with me and Bri but Sebastian wants to wait so it'll be special and considering everything that's going on I agree" I said
"But I love you" he said
A huge smile came to my face and I sat on his knee "I love you too"
