The morning of the execution was full of madness. Townspeople surrounded the part of the town where the execution was being held. They all were yelling and holding their arms up in the air, shaking what ever was in their hands. Two carriages were brought in with soldiers around the ends. The first one was full of women that were accused of witchcraft and the second was full of criminal men.
Jack was in the French invention called the Guillotine that would cut his head clean off once the blade was dropped.
A brunette girl in a green dress was placed on a wooden platform to be hung.
At the top of a bell tower, Aria and Henry stood hidden as they watch the event below them.
Aria looked at Jack as he tried talking his way out of the situation he was in. She sighed and fought a smile that formed on her lip.
"What is it?" Henry looked at her and curiously asked.
Aria turned her head to look at him. "It's just Jack being Jack. Every time Jack's in trouble, he tries to talk his way out of it until I come and save his butt and we go off to relive the same event."
Henry gave her a little smile. "How long have you known Jack?"
"About five years now. I met him and Gibbs after they found the Fountain of Youth in Tortuga. I was thirteen, looking for a captain to sail with, when I found Jack. He was in a fight with these pirates from I don't remember. So I got off the ground and went into to go help him. After I fought off all the men, Jack came up to me and asked me some questions: what's my name, how old am I, where I learned to fight like that, and what I was doing in Tortuga. I told him how I got there and that I was looking for a captain to serve for. Right away he introduced himself as Captain Jack Sparrow and told me I could come with him as his first mate. Ever since that day I've always been by Jack's side. I look up to him as a father. A stupid father but a good one."
"You seem to care very much for him."Henry said softly, admiring what she said.
"I do. He's the closest thing to family I got." Aria sighed glancing at Henry.
"What happen to your real family?"
Aria looked back at the crowd. "Another story for another time." She said softly.
"Aria?"
"Hmm?"
"Why were you willing to help me find the trident?" Henry asked curiously.
She turned her head back to face him. "Because you've searched for years to find help so you could save your father. I would do the same for Jack if I knew I couldn't save him on my own. I admire what you would do to save the ones you care for, you and I have that in common." She smiled at him. "I'm going to help you save your father."
"I'm going to help you save Jack."
"We will save them both, no matter the cost."
"Together?" Henry put his hand out.
"Aye. Together." Aria placed her hand in his, shaking it.
They smiled and turned watched the crowd looking between Jack and the brunette. "Is that the girl with the map?" Aria asked.
"Yes, that's her. That's Carina." Henry answered.
"May I finish!"
"No! Your lucky! Wish I was hung."
"Kill the filthy pirate, I'll wait."
Aria chuckled when she heard what Carina said. "I like her already." Henry looked at her and chuckled. As Jack and Carina started arguing with each other, Aria couldn't help but ask, "So when do we go down?"
Henry grabbed the long rope and wrapped his arm around the red heads waist. Aria collided into his chest, her forehead hitting his chest. "Hold on to me." He whispered to her. She wrapped her arms around his neck, tightly. "Ready? One...two...three!" Henry and Aria jumped and swung down from the bell tower. Aria clung on to Henry as tight as she could.
"THIS IS REALLY HIGH!" She let out a scream as they flew around the tower above the crowd causing eyes to look at the two swinging on the rope. They swung right in between the two about to be executing, yelling in fear as they flew above the townspeople. Aria watched as they twirled around the hanging, staring at the group of British Navy men right below them. "Get ready!" She yelled, aiming where she was going to drop. Quickly, she let go of Henry and slid out of his grasp.
"ARIA!" Henry yelled, watching her fall.
Aria fell into her feet in front of a soldier. She gave a sweet smile and said "hello, darling." Before punching him straight in the nose. Turning around, she watched Henry fell right next to her and began fighting off soldiers. They shared a glance and a nod then turned to fight some more.
Henry punched and kicked the men while Aria did something a little more skillful. She let out a calm breath and punched a soldier in the jaw. Quickly, she grabbed his head and slammed it to her knee. Turning around, she grabbed another soldiers arm and kicked him. Her elbow flew behind her at the another who came behind her. Another came running at her full speed, so she ran and grabbed his shoulder before swinging herself up to wrap her thighs around his neck and twist their bodies to the ground. Pushing herself up, Aria ran for another soldier. She jumped up, wrapped her thighs around his shoulders and flipped her body backwards causing him to do a front flip. Letting go of his shoulders, she landed on her knees and smirked back at him. Two soldiers ran from behind her and grabbed her, restraining her arms along with Henry. They moved her and Henry right in front of the wooden bleachers where the Lieutenant was standing.
"Did you really think you two could defeat us?" He sneered at Aria and Henry.
They looked at each other and smirked.
"No, sir." Henry spoke.
"We're just a diversion!" Aria laughed before turning her head to look back at Jack's ex crew mates that were behind a canon. "FIRE!" She screamed at them. Mr. Gibbs lit the canon and it fired towards the Guillotine. The canon ball went straight through the bottom, breaking the bottom completely causing Jack, who was still strapped down to it, to swing around. The crowds of townspeople began to scream and run away from the area in different directions, making the chaos rise even more.
Henry and Aria broke free of the soldiers wrists and turned to punch both of them. "Come on!" Henry shouted over the chaotic noise to her. They locked hands and started to run away from the group of soldiers behind them. The group of pirates standing behind the canon ran off to fight the soldiers as the Guillotine broke completely.
"I'm going to help Jack, you go help Carina!" Aria shouted to Henry. He gave a nod and they let go of each others hands, running off.
Aria turned around to find Jack standing in the middle of the area, still attached to the wooden board. A soldier came running towards Jack as Aria ran towards him. Jack screamed but stopped once Mr. Gibbs jumped in front of Jack and knocked down the soldier.
"Jack!" She shouted.
Jack turned his head and saw his most loyal friend running towards him. He smiled before shouting, "Aria! You did come after all!"
"And miss your execution?" The red head grinned and looked to see a soldier running towards them. "Jack behind you!"
Jack turned around and knocked into him with the wooden board still attached to him. The soldier quickly recovered and stabbed the board. Quickly, Jack pushed the soldier to Aria who punched in the face, knocking him out.
"Where is your sword?" Jack called to her.
"On the ship! You know I prefer using my fist than a blade." Aria explained as another soldier ran up to Jack. She groaned and ran at him. Grabbing his shoulder, she swung up and brought down another soldier with her thighs.
"Oh I do love when you do that! It's fun to watch." Jack grinned. The soldier hit the ground while Aria landed on her feet. She looked at Jack and gave him a look, trying not to smile at his comment. "It's fun to do I bet." He added.
"It has it's perks." She couldn't help but grinned at him. Bending down, she picked up a sword a soldier dropped and quickly went behind Jack and cut him free of the wooden board.
Jack turned to face Aria with a cheeky grin. "Missed you."
"Missed you too." She grinned. Turning her head, she saw the Lieutenant with a sword standing right in front of Henry and Carina. She rolled her eyes and looked at Jack for a moment. "You know I'm really tired of these guys."
Quickly, she walked up behind him only to hear him say, "well look at this, if I killed the coward the witch hangs." Gripping tighter on his sword, he added. "Two for the price of one."
"Or how about the red head punches you in the nose and the coward lives while the witch doesn't hang?" Aria said sweetly to him. "Two for the price of one." She mocked.
The Lieutenant turned around in confusion to meet her fist. He gripped his nose and look at her in disgust. "Why you little-" He was cut off by Jack hitting him with a big chunk of wood.
Jack laughed in victory as he looked down at the unconscious man. "No one talks to my first mate like that!" He lifted his head up to look at Henry holding Carina. "Gentlemen and Aria, these two fine prisoners are going to lead us to the trident."
"They are not going to be our prisoners, Jack." Aria glared at him.
