Beware: boring af chapter

Jimin had just come home from his shift at the hospital and nipped on his coffee as he lay on the couch, watching some show but not really paying attention.
Lately he couldn't stop thinking about Yoongi, not even after hours of tiring work. He liked the older. He really liked him. Yoongi was kind, funny, sometimes even quite odd - but in a cute way.
A sigh escaped his lips as he set down the empty mug onto the small table and he rested his heavy head against the soft pillows.
Though it seemed Yoongi was the perfect daddy dom - Jimin couldn't help but wonder if their relationship was purely platonic or if it also included romantic feelings. Sure they'd always been slightly flirting even before they knew about each other and it only got more since they knew. Jimin also couldn't deny the happiness he felt whenever he got to spend time with his hyung. The two had known each other for way over half a year now and had been in their 'relationship' for several months but neither of them ever approached the topic of anything more.
To be honest, Jimin was quite anxious. Sure Yoongi was constantly flirting with him and did whatever he could to support the younger, taking care of little-Jimin lovingly - but what if he didn't like big-Jimin as much?
The silver haired man gnawed on his bottom lip worriedly, turning over so he lay on his side, facing the beige cushions of the couch.
Big-Jimin wasn't the most exciting person after all. Would Yoongi even be interested in a relationship with him?
Jimin's thoughts continued to wander. Considering they'd talked to each other online before, they had of course shared many stories and funny things about each other. But the simplest things - for example Yoongi's favourite food, the older's past or even just his favourite colour, Jimin didn't know any of that. Was he even fit for such a relationship?
Doubt began to consume him as time went by and before he had realised, he'd already fallen asleep, still frowning worriedly in his sleep.

"Jimin?", a familiar voice called softly from somewhere far, far away.
"Just ten mor minutes", said boy grumbled and waved the voice off, the soft pillows his face was pressed into feeling just too comfy.
"Since when have you been sleeping, huh?", the voice asked in an amused tone, gentle fingers brushing trough Jimin's hair.
"Five?"
"Babe, that's more than two hours already. C'mon I know work was tiring but you have to get up or you won't be able to fall asleep at night", Yoongi chuckled and Jimin lazily opened one eye, looking the older up and down. It seemed he'd just come home, a cap pushing his black bangs into his eyes and a tugged down mouth mask hugging his jaw while his right hand grasped his backpack's single strap.
"Really?!", the younger shot up, a confused expression on his face as he tiredly rubbed his eyes with tiny fists.
Yoongi just nodded, a smile tugging on the corner of his lips as Jimin yawned cutely.
"Sleepyhead."
"This sleepyhead saved you some of yesterday's japchae so shut it."
"There's still some left?!", the older cheered like a small child and quickly took off his cap and mouth mask, tossing them over to Jimin before happily skipping into the kitchen.
The other man just snorted and followed his hyung into the kitchen.
"I thought I was the little here!"
The black haired man just shrugged while heating up the left-overs of yesterday's lunch.
"I can't help it, your cooking is the best."
"Oh hyung I feel honoured", Jimin chuckled and hopped onto the counter, swaying his feet while watching Yoongi take out the hot bowl, filled to the top with japchae.
"You should", he mumbled, his mouth already stuffed with noodles and he walked over to the younger, taking up the space between Jimin's legs.
He wordlessly offered him a mushroom, holding his chopsticks right in front of the silver haired's lips, poking them slightly.
"Open up."
Jimin giggled and did as told, enjoying the sweet taste and slight flavour of sesame.
"You're right. My cooking really is the best."
It all felt so domestic, as if it hadn't ever been any different. As if Yoongi's place was right there between Jimin's legs.

As if they already were boyfriends. And once again Jimin got reminded, this wasn't the case. An anxious feeling crept up his insides and he once again worried his bottom lip.
"H-Hyung?"
"Hm?"
"How about we.. We go on a date tonight?"

And that's how they ended up watching the few commercials play before Wonder Woman would actually come on. Yoongi dug out the small bag of skittles and a few chocolate bars he'd sneaked into the cinema while Jimin sipped on his coke contently.
"You know I was actually planning to ask you if we can go see it", the older whispered, throwing a couple of sweets into his mouth. "I used to find wonder woman really hot when I was a kid."
Jimin laughed, grabbing a handful of skittles for himself and setting down his drink between his thighs.
"Really?!"
"Yeah. Then I realised I was gay", Yoongi chuckled along.
"She's still a babe though."
"Should I be worried?", the smaller giggled but stopped among realising - he didn't have anything to be worried about.
It's not like hyung's my boyfriend, he thought, mood dropping at the thought and uncertainty setting back into the pit of his stomach.
"Nope", Yoongi smiled and ruffled his dongsaeng's hair, focusing back onto the big screen as the commercials ended.
The film began and time went by but Jimin couldn't seem to focus on anything but the doubtful thoughts in his head. He didn't even take proper notice that his hyung leaned over to him about every fifteen minutes, commenting on something in the film or how he interwined their fingers about halfway trough.
As the film ended and the credits began rolling, Jimin snapped out of his gaze. Some people got up already, making their way out but the two males stayed until the very end until the lights went back on.
"You liked it Jiminie?", Yoongi asked, putting the empty bag of skittles back into his pocket and taking a note to throw it away later on.
"Uh y-yeah it was good", the younger smiled briefly, making Yoongi frown but he just waved it off.
The drive back home was silent. Though Yoongi asked questions every now and then, Jimin would only answer curtly or not at all, staring out of the window.
Now that was unusual for Jimin. Worry tugged on the older's heart but he didn't want to bring it up just yet.
But his dongsaeng's odd behaviour continued even as they came home, Jimin going straight to bed the second Yoongi opened the door.
Something was clearly bothering him.
After finishing up in the bathroom and changing into a pair of comfortable boxers and a simple white t-shirt, Yoongi walked over to the younger's room, knocking on the door softly.
"Jimin?"
No answer came from the other side of the door but Yoongi entered nevertheless. He was met with Jimin buried under a pile of blankets, only a few stray strands of silver hair poking out on the top.
"Jiminie what's wrong?", he cooed, carefully sitting down on the spacious bed and placing a comforting hand onto, what he assumed to be the younger's back.
"I'm fine hyung. Don't worry, just go to sleep."
"You're obviously not fine", Yoongi frowned and tried to pull away the tightly wrapped blanket so he could see his dongsaeng's face.
"What's wrong?"
"I-It's nothing, really hyung. It's stupid anyways.."
"It's not stupid when it's bothering you so much", he smiled upon finally finding Jimin's face. He looked adorable, all squished and bare faced.
"It's just I.. I'm worried."
"Worried about what?"
The smaller anxiously gnawed on his bottom lip, avoiding Yoongi's gaze as he spoke.
"I r-really like you hyung. And not just.. Not just as my caregiver. And I'm scared that you won't like big-me back. Also you.. You seem to know so much about me, what food I like best, what shows I watch, my favourite colour.. But I feel like I don't know anything about you yet still I have these feelings."
Yoongi couldn't help but laugh. His dongsaeng had been worried about such ridiculous things?
"Jiminie", he chuckled, lying down and wrapping an arm and a leg around the younger's cocoon.
"Isn't it obvious? I like big and little you. I wish I could say love but love comes with time, you know? But I'm so very sure that soon enough I'll be showering you with I-love-yous, you'll be sick of them. Those feelings I have for you are real Jimin. For little as much as big you. Please don't ever doubt yourself again."
A deep blush spread across Jimin's cheeks upon hearing his hyung's confession and he cleared his throat awkwardly, too overwhelmed with the whole situation.
"..Thank you hyung. Really."
"You're welcome", Yoongi smiled and pressed a quick kiss to the younger's lips, leaving him a flustered mess.
They lay there for a couple of minutes, neither saying anything but just staring at the ceiling, lost in their own thoughts.
"I don't like seaweed", Yoongi broke the silence.
"My favourite colour is white."
"I have a beautiful dog named Min Holly back in Daegu."
"I also have an older brother."
"My favourite number is three."
And so it went on until both men fell asleep, Jimin tightly wrapped in his cocoon - and Yoongi's arms.

Sorry that it was boring and there was no little-Jimin but I think sometimes chapters like these are important to build up and strenghten their relationship
