"HYUNG! What's wrong with you!" mark said with a shocking expression and his nose was bleeding
"get up we are going to the police station" I said as a held his shirt's collar and made him stand up
"why?"
"how could you do it ? HOW??" I yelled and left him ,staring at my younger brother whom I raise and took care of
"did what hyung ??"
"How could you hit someone with a car and leave her ?? how ? how could you leave her laying on the floor bleeding " I said and tears fell from my eyes without me knowing
"how did you *yelp* know" he said and stepped back
I shook my head "it's not that matter now , come one we have to go and you have to say what happened "
"hyun you will end my life"
"YOU ENEDED HERS! She is blind because of you ! and a guy entered the jail because of you selfness ! "
"his life was already over he was jobless and he didn't got accepted in the college ! and she must be used to being blind now"
I couldn't believe what I was hearing and I pinned him to the wall
"hyung I will graduate after few weeks , please leave me I- i- I will apologize to her and taeyong but I don't want to go to jail my life will be over!"
"NO you are going with me now!" I said but he pushed me away and I fell on the floor ... I followed him but he ran so fast I couldn't find him I clenched my fist and looked around ... what should I do ? how am I going to face momo now ... the one that ended her life ... is my brother .
I walked to the police station and sat behind my desk as I arrived
"hyung the car is here" baekhyun said ... I bought a car I nodded and took the keys , he left my office but he noticed that I was sad
My phone rang after few minutes
"Yeoboseyo?"
"jeongyeon it's me momo" she said ... I closed my eyes and prevented myself from crying by hearing her voice
"yes momoring?"
"are you okay? Your voice is not okay, are you sick ?"
"no no baby I am just tired a bit, what's wrong?"
"mina said she wants to know you better , come and let's eat together, and she is telling me that you can bring chaeyoung with you"
"I am a bit busy today momoring tomorrow I will pass by you at 1 pm okay ? mina can come with us today "
"nae I will tell her .. saranghae"
"anyeong"
I hang up ... I couldn't say I love you to her ... do I have the right? What will she do if she knew that my brother was the reason she lost her sight and eyes ?
I got busy by work and investigating and I slept for few hours until it became 1 PM
I drove off to their house and mina was holding hands with momo as they were waiting in front of the building's gate , I smiled automatically as I saw momo ... what my brother did didn't kill or effect my love for her
I walked to them and bowed to mina
"momoring" I said and hugged her ...
"let's go"
"but to where?" mina asked
"you will see mina " I said and smiled as we walked to my car
I drove off and I was holding momo's hand
"momo told me so much about you and I can see that you are trustful guy , thank you for taking care of my sister and loving her" mina said
I looked at her through the side mirror and nodded "she is my happiness and my everything " I said
Momo smiled by hearing his words but will she change her mind when she knows about his brother?
We arrived at the dr. clinic and we were waiting our turn and I didn't left momo's hand
"you didn't have to do it jeongyeon" mina said
"we will just check on her eyes , I think he can do a surgery for her , I am sure" I said and omo tighten her hand in mine ... like she was telling me not to leave her ... and I won't .. unless she will decide to
We went inside and the dr. checked on her and did few tests
"so dr. is their a chance?" mina asked with worried eyes
He was looking at the files in front of him then he looked at us "I still need few tests but from what I am seeing it will work , we can do a surgery"
I found myself smiling like an idiot while mina cried but momo didn't notice and she was looking down and smiling
I got up and we shook hands with the drs.
I took them to their house and I was standing in front of momo as mina went inside the house
"rest and take care of yourself okay momo?" I said and patted her head
"nae , what's wrong ? why are you sad ?" she asked ... how can she feel that much ..
I kissed her forehead "no I am not , momo I promise you that I will do my best so you can see again okay?"
"nae so I can see you" she said and looked up at me ... I think I will die every time she will look at me when she see again .. she tip toed as she held my jacket and kissed my lips softly
I smiled and caressed her cheek "now go to your sister " I said , she smiled and left
I drove off to the police station .. I am searching for mark and taeyong but none of them could be seen anywhere ... I will tell momo about mark before the surgery so she will decide if she will stay with me or no... but I won't let my brother escape like this .. and I hope momo won't escape from me also.
Few days passed we did the tests that dr dr. asked for and the surgery will be next week .. so I decided to surprise momo with our marriage ring ...
"what are you doing here?" I asked chaeyoung who was sitting on the couch
"I am um "
"she is close with me now" mina said , chaeyoung gave me an awkward smile while I winked at her
"oh... and where is momoring?" I asked
"on the bed AND NO YOU CAN'T GO TO HER !" mina said
"come on mina he won't do anything , jeongyeon is a real man.. he won't touch her before the wedding " chaeyoung said and I smiled at mina and nodded
Mina raised one eyebrow and nodded
I smiled and walked to the bedroom .. momo was sleeping cutely with the dim light of the lamp next to her ... her cheek were red she was probably so warm .. I sat behind her and caressed her arm as I left a kiss on her cheek and she woke up
"jeongyeon?" she said white rubbing her eyes
"yes it's me "
"what are you doing here?"
"I came here to give my momoring a gift before the surgery "
"a gift?"
I nodded and took out the ring box from my pocket
"I have 2 rings , one for me one for you "
"really?" she said and turned her head to my side .. I smiled and kissed her cheek softly
I took her hand and putted a ring on her left ring finger and she touched it with her other hand .. exploring it
"soon you will see it I promise" I said and kissed her while I gave her my ring and she put it on mi ring finger
She raised her hand and caressed my cheek and rested her forehead on mine
"I can't wait to be yours .. yours and only" she said .. I yelped and my heart started to beat so fast it's the first time I feel this when I am next to her .. and we were on bed so it didn't help me at all ......
I laughed and faked a cough "um let's go to the living room" I said and held her hand
We walked to the living room and I saw chaeyoung and mina staring at each other .. I think they fell in love *sigh*
We sat and chatted then I saw a message from baekhyun .. they caught the serial killer
I got up like a crazy and went to the police station
I walked to the investigation room and sat in front of him and he was staring at me .. I opened his file ... he is taeyong...
"I couldn't kill her .... Damn" he said
I looked at him and clenched my fist "your goal was her?"
"mark, you then her"
I hit my hand on the table "she is innocent mark ended her life "
"AND HE ENDED MINE!!!" he yelled at me "and not only me"
"what?"
"mark killed her parents cause they wanted to sue him "
"stop laying " I said and got teary eyed ... my brother .... My life ... my everything is a criminal ?
"I really loved mark ... so I sacrificed myself to him but he didn't deserve it .. we were in love but that accident happened and he changed and stopped visiting me in jail "
I yelped "do you know where is he?"
"no.. I think my Destiney is dark as my heart ... I killed 3 persons ... yes I killed them "
I took a deep breath and left the room .. I was about to suffocate ... I left the building and started to cry while baekhyun followed me .. he saw the whole conversation
"hyung.." he said and patted my back , I turned around and hugged him
"what am I going to do? Huh? What?"
"shhhh, hyung what is matter now is momo ! fight for your love and don't leave her arasso?"
I shook my head "I will tell her about everything before the surgery and I will let her decide .. I can't marry her while hiding this lie baekhyun-ah"
He nodded and wiped my tears away ... but my heart was still in pain
1 day before the surgery ...
"are you scared?" I asked as I caressed momo's hair ... we were sitting on the bed holding hands
"you are with me so I am okay" she said and it ache my heart more
I took a deep breath "momo I will tell you something but you have to listen to the full story okay?" I said and left her hands
"5 years ago I was in the military service , while I was in my brother did something awful .. *I closed my eyes and started to cry* I didn't know that I raised him badly like this ... momo he is the reason he was like this but I swear I swear to god I didn't know "
She was looking at me and she cried and it broke my heart into pieces "I am sorry .. I loved you with all my heart , I couldn't stay with you with this secret so now I am telling you so you can decide ... *I took off my ring and putted it in her hand* this is my ring and I will leave my heart with you also ... tomorrow is the surgery .. you have to see and search for the most beautiful things in the world ...without me cause i don't desrve you"
"why ? why?" she said and cried and I did the same "I am sorry momoya , saranghae"
I got up and left the room , mina saw me and she knew I was crying
"mina take care of her and tomorrow do the surgery I paid for everything"
"jeongyeon what-"
She wanted to say something but I left and drove off as tears fell on my face .. like this I let her go... because of my brother's selfness and irresponsible acts .. I am leaving my love .
