I am cold when I wake. Freezing. The white room I rest in reeks of disinfectant. There is an exciting and short lived moment of confusion before I realize that I am in a hospital.
I lift my head slightly to get a better look at my surroundings, but the world spins dangerously. Two silhouettes seem to be standing in the doorway, but they are all I manage to make out.
My head pounds and my chest burns. I cry out, but slip away before anyone comes.
