"Are you awake?" You whisper over to Ashton, as you both lay in bed.
"Yeah" he mumbles back.
"It's like, three in the morning" you groan and he rolls over to face you, pulling you closer.
Suddenly, Ashton gets up out of bed and pulls sweatpants on his long legs and a Hoodie over his head.
"C'mon" he says and pulls on his shoes on.
Utterly confused, you get out of bed and pull on some sweats and an oversized jumper.
"Where are we going?" you ask him as you follow him down the hallway.
"For a drive" he answers simply and pulls you out the door.

You turn up the heat in Ashton's car, which you have been sitting in for about 10 minutes now, unaware of where you are going.
"Ash, where are we going?" you whine.
He grins over at you and places a hand on your knee.
"Nowhere really, just driving." He says focusing on the road.
"Why?" you ask, confused as to why you would be doing it at three in the morning.
"Because we couldn't sleep." he smiles.
He turns up the radio, quite loud, and starts tapping his hands on the steering wheel and sings along.
Soon, you were both singing at the top of you lungs. you were enjoying yourself, even though it wasn't much. you drove through the city, admiring how it was full of bright lights, as he holds onto your hand with his free one.
