I peeled my eyes open and immediately stood looking around.
I had fainted at after her eyes closed.
The thought of never having her in my arms, the thought of never kissing her scared me.
She laid on the bed breathing softly.
Doctor Ben came in with a baby in his hands.
Growling I stepped back.
That's what almost killed my mate! I will never love it.
"Alpha its your baby" Ben said.
"It almost killed my mate!" I growled.
"Almost" he repeated.
Sighing I ran my hand through my hair.
She hasn't woken up and its already 10:45pm.
Its bright and early.
Everyone in the pack is freaking out after what happened yesterday.
There scared they might loose their second Luna.
Katrina had her chance and she blew it.
"Alpha... Do you want to know the gender?" Ben asked stepping closer.
I shook my head stepping closer to Zoe.
"This child is yours! What the hell is wrong with you! Carry it and love it. Yes it almost killed your made but she's always wanted a child and this is her dream" my sister said taking the baby in her arms.
"Mia get away with that thing" I growled.
She walked up to me and forced me to carry it.
Looking down at the monster I noticed it had her eyes.
I ran my thumb over its cheek.
Its giggle was like hers.
It reminded me so much of her.
"Leave him.. He should be alone right now" Mia whispered.
The room was empty except for Zoe, this child, and me.
Smiling I held our baby boy with so much love.
Suddenly a loud beep went on never stopping.
Frowning I looked up and saw it was the thin line that was supposed to be Zoe's heart beat.
My eyes widened and I ran to her placing the monster next to her.
"No no no" I said.
The door slammed open doctors and nurses running in with wide eyes.
"Alpha step back please" Ben said hanging my the monster.
Growling the monster started crying loudly.
"She's not dead! She's just tired that things broken FIX IT" I yelled.
Tears formed in my eyes and I ler them fall.
My mate was diying once again.
I handed a nurse the monster and pushed everyone out of the way.
My eyes stopped on her face.
Her pale lips and face turning even paler by the second.
"Its fine. She's just angry and she's playing a joke" I said shaking her shoulder lightly trying to awake her.
"Alpha I'm sorry our Luna is-" I growled ready to Punch him.
"SHES.NOT.DEAD!" I yelled.
Ben pulled my arm as I caressed her cheek.
"You listen to me boy! I lived as long as I could with you now either you go phyco and stat here till you rot or say your goodbye and lead the pack on your own"
Tears leaked down my cheeks.
"She can't be dead Ben" I said.
He sighed patting my shoulder.
"I'm sor-" he got cut off by a gasp.
The familiar scent filling my nostrils again.
"Zoe" I whispered leaning down to her.
She smiled.
The only difference in her now is that...
She's glowing..
"Noah I want to see our child" she said excited.
Smiling I nodded quickly woling my tears.
The nurse handed me the monster and I handed him to her.
She smiled as tears ran down her cheeks.
"I love our family" she said.
Mia ran in with the twins and every nurse and doctor walked out with tears.
"Mommy don't leave us" Addison cried.
"I'm sorry darling... The moon goddess gave me a few minutes to say my goodbye let's not waste any precious time" she said.
So that's why she's glowing.
The moon goddess gave her life to say her goodbye.
"I love you so so much with all my heart" I said.
She smiled and i kissed her softly.
"Mia you be good and finish school, twins when you find your mate love him and know there's good in every man you just have to find it"
They nodded with a sad smile.
"Good bye" she whispered.
"G-good bye" the twins whispered wjikw crying.
"Promise me noah, you will love and care for our family including Nolan" she said.
"Who's Nolan" I said jealousy raising in me.
"Our baby dumbass" she giggled.
I was about to speak when she let out her final breath and closed her eyes.
The glow fading away.
"I promise" I whispered and kissed her forehead.
We all started sobbing while thevtwins held Nolan.
"Our family will stay strong mo after what" I said wiping thectears away from my twins.
My heart was broken.
I was crushed.
But I won't let that bring us down.
I made a promise and I will keep my promise.
