After meeting with the birthday couple at the bar, realisation strikes Ji Wook the secret behind Mr Jung's alibi,
When he came to the bar that night, he saw the birthday couple who mistakenly took video instead of selfie, he saw that his face appeared in the video as he was sitting adjacent to them,
He must have come to the bar again the next few days and saw Bong Hee's note that she left behind,
Then he had schemed a false alibi fixing himself in crowded places where he couldn't be traced, eg The park, The movies and the street food he had.
In a voiceover, Ji Wook quotes a Latin saying that says "if it is false in something, then it is false in everything".
He came back to the bar and met Mr Jung leaving already, he asked in a voiceover " Mr Jung, who really are you?"
He invited him to have a few more drinks with him before he leaves,
They returned to find the rest of the team drunkenly asleep,
Ji Wook asked about his family, but he says he has none, they all left for some reason,
He asked if he has a girlfriend, but he said no, he doesn't have any,
Trying to catch him off guard, Ji Wook says that you ask personal information when you're getting to know someone,
Mr Jung smiles and replicate, asking Ji Wook if he also has a family and a girlfriend, but Ji Wook replied in the same manner as him, no he doesn't, they all left for some reason.
Hmmmnnn! Two smarties.
Bong Hee wakes from her sleep, thinking that they were playing a truth or dare game, she says she is interested in playing, the rest of the team members started waking up one by one.
The next day, Bong Hee suffers from hangover in bed, she sleepily calls for water, and we see a man bring her water,
She calls for water the second time, this this time she was almost awake, Mr Bang walks in holding a cup of water for her, she got confused at first thinking it was Ji Wook, she looked closer and saw that it was Mr Bang,
At the realisation, she groans in embarrassment, a disappointed Mr Bang simply handed her the cup and walked away, while she called after him saying that she is proud of him.
Mr Bang reports to Ji Wook that he gave Bong Hee water and medicine as he required, but then he said Bong Hee was disappointed seeing his face that she was in the verge of tears, Ji Wook says he will scold her, and Mr Bang warns him not to scold her for he will end up being scolded by her.
He then says he wasn't complaining about her but he's complaining about Ji Wook,
He was obviously referring to their relationship but he left his question mid sentence and asked what other favor Ji Wook wants him to do for him.
Ji Wook says to do a background check on Mr Jung,
Mr Bang asked why, since the case is over, and Ji Wook replied that he has unconfirmed hunches about him, so he wanted to double check and be sure.
He asked him to carry out the investigation secretly and confidentially for now.
Mr Bang get up to go, but Ji Wook thanks him for quitting being a civil servant and working with him,
And that reminds Mr Bang of the things he said back at the bar last night while they were playing truth or dare, he was asked what that decision he regrets most is?
And he says his worst decision ever was the day he resigned as a civil servant and joined No's law firm.
No one was surprised, because it wasn't him but the alcohol talking. Bang smiled, and asked if he needs to check on Mr Jung right away, since he has much work to do being the only paralegal there,
Ji Wook said he can do it when he has the chance, then Bong hee walks in, and Mr Bang was shocked fearing she might have overheard them.
Bong hee asked what about Mr Jung, and he directed her to ask Ji Wook.
Mr Bang left, and Bong hee asked Ji Wook what they're checking on Mr Jung, he remembered last night, when a drunken Bong hee talks about how grateful she is, being able to help Mr Jung clear his name, seeing that she feels a sense of responsibility towards Mr Jung, he says she can't know about it for now.
She asked why he doesn't want to tell her about it, and he says because he doesn't want to, our Ji Wook sure knows when to act like a boss.
He asked if she is okay now, but she replicates saying that he doesn't need to know about it.
Ji Wook says she is being disrespectful to her mentor, and she replies that mentees usually takes after their mentors.
They both laughed about it, and then the air around them becomes awkward, she takes the initiative and walks away.
The team holds a meeting and Mr Byun complains of an upset stomach due to hangover, he vows not to drink again and if he does Bong hee should call him her son,
Bong hee said she doesn't want a son like him, and he brags that why not? He is good looking.
They all vowed not to drink again, Ji Wook laments that they never have a serious meeting for once, lawyer Ji walks in after having a successful trial from court, he offered to treat the whole team tonight he has a new wine and champagne,
Didn't they just vow not to drink again? They got up one by one and dispersed, no one answering him.
Yoo Jung discusses with the chef's sister, destroying evidence and perjury are considered weighty crimes, on their way out, they met with Ji Wook and Bong hee, Ji Wook asked her why she hid the picture frame in her brothers house, something is strange,
She walked past him without giving him a response.
In a voiceover, we hear Mr Jung quotes the bible verse written on the frame, and if a man promised to marry a girl and then rapes her, only the man shall die.
He strolls in a field, an image of an innocent looking girl flashing his mind, while he sat he remembered Bong hee asking back at the bar why the culprit framed her and her boyfriend Hee Jun,
Mr Jung replies in a voiceover, because you witnessed something you shouldn't have seen, flashback to that day Bong hee looked out through the window without her contact lens, she witnessed a crime without knowing.
And when I came to your house you weren't there, you didn't recognize me either. If you never find out who I am, then I'll remain a good person to you, I'll keep an eye on you.
He dialled Bong hee's number, expressing his sorry and gratitude to her, Ji Wook listened in while Bong hee replied that he doesn't have to be sorry, for she now feels like a proper attorney, thanks to him.
She turns while speaking on phone and Ji Wook turns along with her, Yoo Jung saw them and fights her tears from escaping, Ji Hye saw her and asked rudely at first, why was she crying like a baby in the hallway? She corrects herself and simply asked why she's crying?
Yoo Jung warns her, that she'll teach her how to speak to one's senior properly one day and leaves, while Ji Hye murmurs to herself that she used to believe that Yoo Jung was cool when she watches her from distance, but not anymore now that she's close to her.
Bong hee asked why he's listening in, when Mr Jung was only thanking her, Ji Wook says he deserves his gratitude too, he did his best in court, he asked that they should meet him together,
Ji Hye flexes her shoulder and intentionally bumped Bong hee, making her hold on to Ji Wook for support, she looked back and says an unapologetic sorry, then leaves.
Ji Wook asked again if they should meet Mr Jung together, but she starts to leave without replying.
At the elevator, the Attorney general was inside already and his sight troubles her, Ji Wook held her hands for encouragement, they entered together, his presence made her more uncomfortable, at the next floor she exits holding Ji wook's hands, he.didn't bulge, he stayed back in the elevator and closed tge door, making her leave alone, so it'll be only the two men inside.
Ji Wook warns him to not lay a hand on Bong hee again, as he'll not sit still if he does, he then tells him to always take elevators assigned for high ranking officials so as to not make his employees uncomfortable, he bows then exits. Making the AG look offended.
Outside the building, Bong hee looks upset, she asked Ji Wook not to interfere in her business again, he already got hurt while trying to protect her, Ji Wook says whatever happens isn't her fault, he'll have helped if it happens to anyone.
Bong hee asks if he enjoys suffering, and then says their relationship must truly be an I'll fated one then,
She ran off and cries, for being unable to stop having feelings for him, it is hard.
In the office, lawyer Ji calls on to everyone to come have dinner in his house, as he's promised to treat them, but the air feels awkwardly silent,Mr Bang said they can't come as they still suffer from previous hangover.
Lawyer Ji smiles his fake smile, he said they're having hangover indeed, and opened the cake box he brought with him in the morning, they've eaten the whole cake without asking him first and left him with only a tiny share.
He had a solo birthday party at a park where he visits with Yoo Jung and Ji wook back in the days,
He brought out the almost finished cake, lit the candles, made a wish, blowed out the candles and pats himself on the head.
He was surprised to see Yoo Jung, and she says she was there accidentally, she made a.move to go in an attempt to see if he'll call her back.
Lawyer Ji almost called her back but stopped, she came back and asked if she could sit down, he said no but she sits anyway,
In the office, Ji Wook attempts sending lawyer Ji a birthday message, he composes and deletes several message looking for a more suitable one, he deleted the last message with only letter H remaining,
And then accidentally bumped into Bong hee who wanted to ask him a question,
He realized that he had accidentally sent lawyer Ji the remaining letter H only, and swears, but then he assures Bong hee that the swear wasn't directed at her, but she says its okay even if it was directed at her, she'll take it.
Lawyer Ji receives a text message from Ji Wook which is unusual, he opened it and saw a letter H, since it is his birthday, the letter H must have stand for a "Happy Birthday", he smiled happily.
Yoo Jung says that she told Ji Wook that his love for her wasn't enough, that's why she sought out for more, she says she regrets what she told him, but lawyer Ji says it is too late to regret.
He remembered being asked who he hates most at the bar, and he said there's someone he hates, and someone he can't hate or dislike.
The air is too awkward, so he prepares to leave, He told Yoo Jung that he doesn't like her,
Yoo Jung takes the initiative that she isn't wanted there, she got up to leave, but dropped the gift she brought at his feet, wishing him a happy birthday, she left.
Mr Jung entered a house, and grabbed the forensic guy by the collar, asking why he's complicating matters for him, why was his button and footprints found at the crime scene? Was he trying to bail out on him?

Mr Jung manhandled the forensic guy, asking if he wants to bail out on him, if not, why were incriminating things found at the chef's murder scene?
Forensic guy said it was a mistake, and Mr Jung says he only has one chance to make a mistake, a chance he had used up, another mistake from him will mean that he wants to betray him, he says he must stand by him until he finish his mission, that way he can pay for his mistake.
Three people are gone now, there are four people left to disappear,
Ji Wook and Bong hee went through a couple of days of silent treatment, each one caring about the other in silence,
She hears music coming from his room at night, she sighs and wondered if he is able to catch some sleep,
During the day, she seems to be feeling the heat while sitting under the umbrella fanning herself with her palms, he watches from above and the look on his face shows someone who cares to know if she is okay,
They ignored one another in the office, bong hee trying to get busy with work, and Ji Wook watches her in silence looking bored.
Lawyer Ji seems to have become Bong hee's relationship expert, because she gives him feedback on her one sided love which she just put an end to,
She says she loves him like a fan now,
Lawyer Ji asked if that makes any difference, and she says when a fan love, they love without having expectations, that is called "admiration". She says she feels like she is almost over Ji Wook, about 98%,
The look on her face says otherwise though, she remembered the last time at the bar when she says that the person she loves, she will love him till she dies, and sighed.
Lawyer Ji felt that they are being watched from upstairs, he says he is the best when it comes to admiring someone, trying to be mischievous, he asked her to come closer and laugh,
She didn't understand at first, but he tells her there's a reason for it, he started the laugh and she joined in,
His trick worked, because Ji Wook got jealous seeing the two of them laughing, he picks up the nozzle ready to spray him with water, but he dropped it on a second thought.
Mr Bang praised him for acting his age.
Mr Bang and Ji Wook walked into the kitchen only to meet CEO Byun in apron, complaining of being the one who's been doing dishes all through the week, he outstretched his hands in the process, only to have two more cups placed in his hands, ahahahaha.
Mr Bang smiled and tells him to make sure he wins the game next time.
Lawyer Ji and Bong hee walked out not minding the others as they were engrossed in conversation, Ji Wook gets jealous merely seeing the two together.
Mr Bang gives Ji Wook feedback about Mr Jung, his investigation shows that he has no family like he said, Ji Wook then told him told him to check if any of his deceased family member suffered from assault.
Bong hee leaves to go meet Mr Jung, and Ji Wook trails behind,
Mr Jung said he's resigned where he was working because it was a contract job, Bong hee promise to help him in any area she can,
Ji Wook walks in, trying to move to an opposite direction so they wi not see him, Bong hee sights him first and asked what he's doing there,
He then greets Mr jung and pretends like they met coincidentally,
Though he seems to be lacking at pretense.
They both saw Mr Jung out and Bong hee asked what he was doing at the restaurant, Ji Wook confessed that he was trailing her,
Memories of the night at the bar flashes through his mind, Ji Wook's questions about his family members and girlfriend, and he stuttering at their so called coincidence meeting,
He feels that Ji Wook is starting to suspect him,
He looked back abruptly, and found Ji Wook glaring at him,
That confirms his suspicions about Ji Wook.
Bong hee asked what Ji Wook's suspicions were about Mr Jung and he said he has bad hunches about him that are yet to be confirmed, and his alibis were..... He was cut off with an incoming call on her phone,
Bong hee said she has an arrangement with her mum and leaves.
Bong hee and mum were having a meal of delicious looking pizza,
Mum and daughter gist about Bong hee's ceo,
Mum asks if he is handsome and single, bong hee said yes,
She goes on to state his qualities:
His eyes gleam like the stars,
He has a broad chest,
And a light bulb at the back of his head, a halo that shines like gold.
Mum said she is giving her goose bumps, and Bong hee says her ceo us born to give her heart attacks.
Ji wook's mum scoffs at their discussion behind a board, and says it makes her want to vomit.
Mum held her hands and told her not to give up, she may not come across someone who makes her feel that way again.
Ji wook's mum murmured, "such a man never exists", and then a call comes in from Ji Wook, she says "except my Ji Wook"
She rushed to meet her son outside, Ji Wook asked why she didn't let him come in and mum said, because there are two women who makes her life miserable, she's referring to bong hee and mum.
It feels like she is having cabin fever so she wanted to enjoy fresh air with her son,
Like every proud mums do, she admires every inch of her son, complaining that he's lost weight.
Mum says her son is now a grown man, it was only yesterday when he was crying in her arms.
Then we see a flashback of teenage Ji Wook crying in mum's arms after his dad's death, mum assured him that she'll stay by his sides and will never leave him.
Mum says he has grown up, but he said he doesn't feel that way, he feels like a coward instead, he dismisses mum and the two promised to eat together next time.
Ji Wook reviews details about Mr Jung at home, he remembered seeing the forensic guy's face in the courtroom when Mr jung's verdict was being read, the look on his face was that of disappointment.
It clicked that he might be connected with Mr Jung, Ji Wook races to the police station to find him,
Forensic guy asked if ji Wook needs personal favor from him, but Ji Wook asked if he is somehow related to the chef, or knows Mr Jung,
He denied knowing the two men personally,
Ji Wook says he is sure that he knows Mr Jung because he is always present in court during all of his trials, but the forensic guy says he is present in court because he conducted investigations, so he needs to be in court as witness at times.
Ji Wook gave him his complimentary cards and asked him to call, he is willing to help him out.
In the night, the forensic guy pondered over Ji wook's word, for him to call.
Ji Wook reviews Mr jung's profile and receives a call from Yoo Jung, asking him to come see the hidden frame he has been looking for,
Ji Wook asked if it can be sent over but Yoo Jung says no, because it is evidence.
Ji Wook heads out to her office, a copy of the frame's photograph was shown to him,
A bible verse was written in blood on the surface, Deuteronomy 22:25 and if a man has raped a virgin, he shall be put to death.
Forensic guy called ji wook but he wasn't picking up, he called Bong hee, and informed her that he knows the man who brought her shoes, the day her office was intruded.
Bong her asked who but he says he has to tell her in person, they both agreed to meet that night.
It turns out that Mr Jung was listening in on their conversation,

Who would've thought Mr Jung wired the forensic guy's phone
Bong hee rushes to meet up with tge forensic guy, she called Ji wook on her wah but he isn't picking up.
Ji wook thanked Yoo jung for allowing him to see the frame, and leaves, outside the office he saw a missed call and text message from bong hee., saying she's on her way to meet the forensic guy.
Ji wook stepped on the pedal, rushing to meet Bong hee,
Bong hee got to Damoo park, she stepped out of the car to go, but she stopped and squatted beside her car, fearful of the too silent atmosphere.
Mr Jung calls forensic guy on phone, telling him that he was looking for him because the place is dark, and now he's found him.
At the last sentence, the look on forensic guys shows that he regrets asking to meet with Bong hee,
Ji wook drove to the car and sights Bong hee squatting beside her car, she looks like a little child who's just seen a horror movie.
Ji wook walked up to her asking why on earth she'll come to a dangerous place like this alone, what if something bad happens to her,
Was she thoughtless? She should have thought of him too, what will he do if something happens to her?
Bong hee replied that she called him but he wasn't picking up, he said she should've waited for him,
Bong hee says she was about to go in but she decided to stop, everything seems to not be alright, and she knows he might scold her and most importantly she was afraid,
She stopped to wipe the tears in her eyes but mistakenly pulled out her contacts.
They reached home, and entered the house together, Bong hee bows slightly to him and said goodnight,
Ji Wook walks up to her and grabs her wrist, he told her he was sorry,
She looked closer to check if he was truly sorry, and feels relieved that he meant it.
Ji wook draws her closer and hugged her tightly, happy that she is safe,
Then, with her palms on her cheeks he kissed her passionately..........
Squeals!!! Our Ji wook has finally reached his limit of hiding his feelings for her, and now he has kissed her? I'm soooooo happy!
Now we have one of the dots connected, Mr Jung is the one using the forensic guy, the future episodes will connect the rest of the dots one by one.
I hate it when I see Mr Jung appearing to be humble to cover his identity, the fashion he drinks with in front of Ji wook annoys me, I've only seen it in sageuks,
When lowborns drinks with high profile people, they turn their face sideways and drink,
But the fact that i know that a criminal is drinking that way in pretense annoys me,
And I do not like the fact that Bong hee is emotionally attached to the criminal, though I perfectly understand why, because she sees herself in him, she's been through it so she knows what it feels like to be a murder suspect.
But I hope she sees his true identity soon, because being attached to him will definitely put her and the whole team in trouble.
