but you kept yelling. until the words fell into a soft whisper and you kept repeating that you loved me. that was ephemeral. but had my heart thumping loudly in my chest. you said it was my fault that you liked me. because you didn't like boys. boys had cooties. and then (out of frustration) you kissed me. i can't believe you kissed me bill. it was ineffable. your lips were so soft. they had my mind floating. one question stayed on my mind the entire time: am I finally your stan?
