After talking to Tripp last night, I immediately asked my secretary, Jane to book a flight for me. After my one last meeting ay babalik na ako sa States. Yes, I lied to him na matutulog na ako. I really wanna help him, that's the least I could do.
But as I was preparing my things, something fell from my wallet. It's the letter he gave me. I remembered him. The things that he did to me, was the worst.

I was walking at the park with my bestfriend Ace. We were happily eating our take out Mcdonald's large fries and coke float. Tig-isa kami ng ganun. Masayang tawanan at kuwentuhan ang ginagawa namin ng biglang dumating si Michael, my fiance.
Mahinang mahina na si Papa kaya napag-pasiyahan niya na i-engage ako sa Michael na to. He's a nerd, a very definite description. Papa thought that I can't handle our business, kaya ipinagkasundo niyang ikasal ako sa nerd na to. So after a year namatay si Papa, I suffered a lot. Sa akin napunta lahat ng hindi niya natapos, at ako ang naging CEO ng kumpanya niya. Until now I'm still engaged.
"Anung ginagawa mo dito?" I asked him
"U-uhm.. k-kasi, Zynneth. A-ano eh...."
"Ano?" I asked irritated
"Aayain sana kita m-ag date.." he whispered..
"Ano?!"
"Gusto ko sanang makipagdate sayo." he said loudly
"What?! Hindi ka pa ba masaya na lagi tayong magkasama sa family dinner? Fiance na kita kaya stop asking me for dates. It's creepy. Sige na umalis ka na at sa bahay na lang tayo magkita. Pupunta naman kami doon ni Mama at ni Alex eh."
"Talaga? Sige!" he smiled and left us
Again Ace and I shared our laughs. Marami nga nagtitinginan samin eh. Pero napagod ako sa kakatawa kaya nilagay ko yung ulo ko sa balikat niya. Inakbayan niya naman ako. I so love this guy. He makes me feel at home. Pero bestfriend niya lang ako.
Hindi pa kami nagtatagal sa ganoong puwesto ay dumating si Kim, ang girlfriend ni Ace. Mabilis na tumayo si Ace at hinalikan si Kim sa harapan ko. She's a bad girl I tell you. Doon ko lang narealize na wala na talaga akong pag-asa kay Ace. He is really inlove with Kim.
"Uhm.. Ace alis na ako. Andyan naman na si Kim eh." I said
"No, wait. Hindi ka ba sasama samin?" he asked
"Hindi na.. Baka maOP nanaman ako!" I faked my laugh.
"Ok sige." then they left me

Ngayon ay lalabas ulit kami ni Ace, sasamahan niya ako mamili ng gown na isusuot sa ball ng pamilya niya. He will be my escort. Labas pasok kami sa mga designers' shops. After several hours ay nakapili ako ng isang Elegant Saphire Floor gown at katerno nito and isang 4 inch heels, with close front na saphire din ang kulay.
After choosing our outfits, we entered Delicious and Sweets Coffee shop. As usual he treated me, and I ordered my favorite 1 slice of strawberry cake and a strawberry flavored frappe. Siya naman ay nagorder ng Fettuccini and orange juice. Pagkatapos namin kumain ay inihatid na niya ako sa bahay.
"Mag-ayos ka na ha? I'll pick you up at 7pm. Okay?"
I just nodded. Pumasok ako sa kwarto ko at nag ayos ng sarili. I put some BB cream and covered it with a light foundation. Then I colored my eyelids with a light blue glittered eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. Nagblush on din ako ng rosy pink, manipis lang and red lipstick. I just curled my hair and let it down.
After dolling up I stood up infront of the mirror and nagulat din ako sa nakita ko. I look so elegant. Hindi ko ine-expect na ganito ang magagawa kapag nag-aayos ka para sa taong mahal mo. I picked up my silver pouch and one last time sumilip akong muli sa salamin bago ako tawagin ni Mama.
"Anak! Ace is here!"
I stormed out of my room at naglakad pababa ng hagdan. There he is, wearing his black tuxedo with blue tie, standing on our living room, looking at me as if there is no tomorrow. I saw his lips whispered 'Wow!'
"You're so pretty." sabi ni Mama ng makababa ako then she kissed my cheeks
"Thank you Ma."
"Kung nandito lang ang Papa mo, he will be so amazed by how beautiful you are." she said as she grabbed my hand and placed it on Ace's hand
"Bantayan mo ang anak ko ha?"
"Yes Tita."
*sa party*
I have decided to just sit down and watch the guests dance with the rhythm of the music. I was watching Ace from afar, he is dancing with his mom. I was wondering, how did I end up falling for this guy? When my ideal type is the opposite of him. He is so sweet, gentle, and he cares about everyone. He doesn't even know how to get angry. I was busy thinking of him when suddenly he called my name.
"Zy?"
"Hmm?"
"Can I have this dance, with you?" He said bowing like a prince on those fairytales
"Stop it Ace, or I'm gonna call you by your first name." I chuckled
"So? Answer please."
"Sure." I said giving my hand to him
Nagulat ako na ang kantang biglang tumugtog ay You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift. Yun yung kanta na naglalaman ng lahat ng gusto kong sabihin sa kanya. Nagsimula na kami sumaya ni Ace. He held my waist while holding my right hand. And my left hand was placed in his chest. Hindi pa natatapos yung kanta ay hinila niya ako papunta sa garden ng hotel.
"Anong ginagawa natin dito?" I asked
"Hiwalay na kami ni Kim."
"Ang tanga mo kasi."
"Anong problema mo? Zy, akala ko ba masaya ka nung naging kami? Eh bakit ngayon tinatanga mo ako?" His voice was still soft
"Ang tanga mo kasi Ace. You know she wouldn't last with you, cause she's a bad girl. Tanga ka kasi pumatol ka sa malandi. She doesn't even care about you. I saw her, kissing John inside his office. John's my employee, but Kim dared to kiss him in my office, not even afraid that I will see her. See she's bad!"
"TAMA NA!" He said. Now he is angry.
Isinandal niya ako sa pader while holding my shoulders with both his hands. He is gripping it so tight, I know it will leave a bruise. Nasasaktan ako sobra. I have never seen him like this before. Natatakot ako.
"B-b-bryce, nasasaktan ako." I said, sobrang nanghihina na ako
Bigla siyang natauhan at binitiwan niya ako. Niyakap niya ako ng sobra higpit at hinimas ang buhok ko. Doon ko naramdaman ang pag-agos ng mga luha sa mata ko. Kahit natatakot ako sa kanya, sa paghimas niya ng buhok ko ay naramdaman kong ligtas ako. Ganun ko siya kamahal, yung tipong hindi ko magawang magalit sa kanya.
"Sorry, I didn't mean it. Sorry."
"It's okay. Ikaw kasi eh, tanga tanga ka talaga."
"Oo na, tanga na ako kung tanga."
After that incident, palagi kaming lumalabas ni Ace, or should I say Bryce. Simula ng maghiwalay sila ni Kim ay pumayag na siya na tawagin ko siyang Bryce. Nickname niya lang naman yung Ace eh. After a month, he sent a letter to me.
It says...
"...Zy, I know masyadong mabilis, pero mahal na ata kita. Simula nung nagbreak kami ni Kim, tinulungan mo akong kalimutan siya. At dahil doon, maraming salamat. Nawala yung feelings ko para kay Kim at doon nagsimula yung mga nararamdaman kong kakaiba para sayo. Noong una, hindi pa ako sigurado pero ngayon, alam ko na. Iba yung tibok ng puso ko kapag nakikita kita. Sobrang saya ko kapag nakakasama kita.
Will you be my girlfriend? If you have an answer go to the park were we used to hang out. Let me know, at 7pm tonight.

Hindi magsink in sa utak ko ang mga pangyayari. Ako mahal ni Bryce? Gusto niya ako maging girlfriend? Papayag ba ako? Matagal ko na tong inantay, magiging masaya na rin ako sa wakas.

Nagising ako dahil tumunog yung alarm clock. I looked at it, at laking gulat ko ng 8:30 am na. I only have 30 minutes to preapare for my meeting. I immediately ordered food to the hotel's clerk and asked to deliver it to my room. While waiting I took a bath as fast as I could and dressed up. I also ate my breakfast, quickly and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my bag and went straight to the hotel lobby.
My secretary and the driver was waiting for me. They asked me if I need anything. I just asked them to go straight to the meeting. We've arrived 5 minutes late. But the meeting, again, went smoothly.
After the meeting we went back to the hotel. I fixed my self, and wore maong skinny jeans, pink and black vans at loose white sando with matching pink cardigan. After dressing up, I carried my hand bag and wore my shades. And then we went straight to the airport. Hindi ko na inalala ang mga bagahe ko kasi isang maleta at sports bag lang naman ang dala ko eh.
Nag check-in na kami at pumunta sa Italian Restaurant. It's lunch time na din kasi, kaya kumain na kami ng Secretary ko. After few more hours, tinawag na din ang flight namin at nagboard na. Mabilis na lumipad ang eroplano, before I knew it we landed already.
