Mrs.Rainys class went by really fast.
She let us free draw today so everyone was in their own little worlds ,
Well almost everyone Lucas hasn't stopped looking at me since we got in Mrs.Rainys class I would look up from my drawing book every once in a while in hopes he would look away but no he just stares.
A part of me is wishing the bell would just ring already while the other part of me wishes that I could hear what he's thinking I mean he has no shame in it and you can tell the other kids notice it to there's been whispers since we walked in together,
I glance up again to see if he Lucas was still staring and to my surprise he's finally started to draw something I sigh in relife , But what is he drawing I wonder his hand quickly flickers up and down the paper he was drawing on -

I jump at the loud sounds of drums and trumpets entering the now overly loud classroom ,
'Omg omg omg its a prompaposal.
I hear the girl across from my desk yell out ,
All the girls start to laugh and giggle as they wait with excitement to see if its for one of them.
Our highschool band is now in the classroom I notice four drummers come around to the front of my desk ,
Oh no please no , I think to myself I dig my nails into my desk as my heart starts to race when I see the four drummers turn to the side with the letters prom painted on the sides of each of the drums.
The band instantly stops playing its quit for a second then I hear a chair scoot back and slow but close footsteps,
The classroom fills with omg's and cheers I dread to look up from my desk I'm all out of excuses for when being asked to prom I clench one eye and keep the other one open as I look up from my desk.
'Maya will you go to prom with this cowboy' Lucas says his voice is low you can tell he's nervous I smile for the first time in a while as I stare a his now flaming red cheeks I couldn't dare say no to him after he's done all this,
Huckleberry, huckleberry why do you always have to be such a huckleberry.
I laugh as I see the paper in his hand it was a question mark thats what he was drawing in such a rush.
