A small door trap opened and a plate of food slid out of it. Anna jumped out of her bed and ran to it, she was starving. She ate the sandwiches and drank all the water in one shot. Anna looked down at some fruit that were on her plate, some nice strawberries and and raspberries. Anna wasn't fond of strawberries so she didn't eat them. She left the aside and ate the rest. Anna left the plate on the floor and walked back towards her bed. She sat down and stared at the strawberries. She started to think about that plan she wanted to do, to try to break out and see what else she can do with the radiation in her body. Anna got out of her bed once again and walked back towards the plate. She took one of the strawberries in her hand and closed her eyes. When she opened them she saw that the strawberry turned blue and started to rot, it was filled with radiation. She took other strawberry and tried it again, practicing was the best way for her to master her power.
Doctor Turgeon was watching Anna from the one sided window as he wrote down on a clipboard what she was doing. Doctor List was with him observing as well.
"This girl, she's a weapon, what she is, the things she can do. We can create bombs with her blood, radiate entire cities with her bow marrow, just unleashing her on the people can create mayhem" Doctor Turgeon explained
"She has incredible abilities, nothing that i've ever seen before" Doctor List confirmed.
Back inside the room, Anna was still playing around with the strawberries, she knew she can radiate things, but she wondered if she can undo it. She grabbed the rotting blue radiated strawberry and closed her eyes once again trying to extract the radiation back into her body and to her surprise it work.
"Oh my..." Anna had no words, she was so amazed, so speechless. She did this a couple more times with the other fruit and it worked.
Anna looked over to the one sided window, without knowing it she was staring right at Doctor List witch kind've freaked him out.
Anna didn't do much of her days, most of the time she would sit on her bed. Ever since that time she killed the women they haven't asked her to kill anything else, like if they were giving her a brake.
Anna's room's door opened and she practically jump off the bed. She saw doctor Turgeon walk in in his hazmat suit. She hid behind her bed afraid he was back to do more experiments.
"Calm down, I'm only here to take your plate" He said. He took her plate and then walked out.
Doctor Turgeon brought back the radiated strawberries to the lab to study and analyze since that's what he did with everything that had to do with Anna.
Anna wondered wether someone was watching her right now, she couldn't see anything but her reflexion and felt very self conscious knowing there was someone on the other side. She didn't know what time it was but felt like it was the night. Anna walked over to the window and put her hand on it. She closed her eyes and got the radiation to leave her body and go in the window. She felt a liquid slide down her hand. She opened her eyes and saw the window had melted. Once more then a quarter of it was turned into liquid, an alarm when off. Anna's heart started to beat quickly. She jumped out of the window, she didn't know where to go, where to turn, she's never seen anything but her room. She saw a couple of guards coming from the left so she ran to the right. She ran as fast as she little legs could go. Two guards then appeared in front of her and they weren't wearing hazmat suits. They both had guns and pointed them at her.
"No! No stop!" Shouted Doctor Turgeon who raced down the halls. "Don't shoot her we need her!"
"Why, why do you need me?" Anna asked
"Because your valuable" He answered
"LIES! No I'm not, I'm not your prisoner" Anna shouted. She turned around and ran towards the two guards, they didn't know what to do since they couldn't shoot her. Anna grab both guards faces and they started to blister. The two men fell to the floor and started seizing. Anna then jumped over them and kept on running.
"Get her!" Doctor Turgeon shouted and the guards started to run after her.
Anna didn't know where she was going but she followed her instincts. She turned right and saw a ladder. She ran towards it and started to climb it. At the top was an airlock. There was a window on it and she was able to see the sky. Anna tried opening it but it was locked. She put her hand on the glass and melted it. She crawled thought and scratched her leg on a piece of glass. She was bleeding but she didn't care about that right now, she was finally out in the open. Anna knew they would still be coming after her so she had to keep on running. She was in the middle of no where, she seemed to be in a desert or something, all se could see what sand, she wasn't in Austria anymore that was for sure.
Anna started to run again, she was tired but that didn't slow her down. She saw some guards of the facility get out by the airlocks moments later, some with hazmat suits and they all had guns.
"If you have to shoot her go for the legs, we need her alive" Doctor Turgeon said.
Anna was able to see a car a couple miles away. She ran towards it and saw people standing near it taking pictures.
"Hey! Hey! Help!" Anna shouted but the people didn't seem to hear her so she shouted again and this time they turned around.
Once Anna got to them she tripped and fell on the floor.
"Help me, I'm hurt and I got to get to a hospital now!" She said
Panic flushed over the man and women.
"Now! Now" Anna shouted
The man picked up Anna and looked at her bleeding leg, he raised his eyebrows in shock. He put her in the back seat of the car. The man got in the drivers seat and the women got in the back with Anna.
"Hurry! Hurry!" Anna said seeing the people who were after her getting closer.
The man started to car and took off. The man and women seemed very worried.
"My name is Karen and this is my husband John, whats your name?" The women named Karen asked
"Anna" she answered
"Where are your parents Anna?" Karen asked
"I don't know, I lost them a while back" Anna lied
"Okay, we'll get to a hospital soon enough, let me look at that leg of yours." Karen said
Anna wasn't sure that was a good idea but that didn't change the fact that Karen could still see the neon blue blood. "Blood isn't supposed to be that colour" Karen said concerned
"I think it's infected" Anna lied once again. "Do you have anything I can put over it?" She asked
Karen took a first aid kit that was in the back seat and gave her a large bandage. "Here"
Anna took it and put it on her leg. "Where are we?" Anna then asked
"Arizona" Karen answered
They were in the United states, Anna couldn't help but wonder how those people got her there. Karen suddenly started to cough, something seemed wrong with her. "Honey stop the car" Karen said to her husband
"Why?" He asked
"Just do it!" She Exclaimed
Her husband John did has demanded. Karen opened the door and threw herself out and started to vomit.
"Karen! Are you okay?" John asked worried
"Yes, I'm going to be fine" she answered.
Anna's heart started beating rapidly, she couldn't help but wonder if this was her fault, was the radiation of her body making Karen sick.
"Keep it in, keep it in" Anna murmured to herself.
She was trying to control it, so it wouldn't infect anyone and it would stay in her. Karen then got back inside the car looking pale.
"I think we're going to get you checked out at the hospital as well Karen. We're almost there" John said
They were almost there, only a couple more miles left and Karen seemed to be getting worse. Anna wanted to take the radiation out of the women but was afraid to infect her even more. What if she was incapable of doing it, she's only tried on a couple of strawberries. They had finally made it to the Arizona state hospital. Anna got out of the car and so did John.
"Go inside the hospital, we'll be right in" Said john has he went to pick up is wife.
Anna felt so guilty, she wanted to do something but she didn't know what. She walked into the hospital and waited for John and Karen. They rushed in and called for a nurse. Once Anna saw Karen was taken into good hands she quietly sneaked out of the hospital and grabbed a brochure with the map of Arizona in it. Anna didn't have any money and no where to go. She started walked along the street when she saw a dîner. Anna went inside and sat at a table. The television was on and it was a newscast, Tony Stark appeared on the television and was talking about the recent attacks on Vienna two weeks earlier. This upset Anna, she closed her hand into a fist, the more and more that killer Tony Stark talked the more she hated him.
"Hello, can I get you anything?" Asked a waitress
"No" Anna answered firmly
The women raised her eye brows and walked away. Anna kept on watching the news.
"The attacks on Vienna were terror attacks, now do not worry, we will get the man, or men who did this, some
of you may think these bombs were from Stark industries but they were not!" Tony Stark said
Anna didn't believe a word he said. How was he not arrested, how was he still walking freely.
"Hi miss, hum if you don't order anything I'm going to have to ask you to leave" Said a different waitress.
Anna ignored her.
"Miss?" The waitress said
"Leave me alone!" Anna shouted
Everyone in the dîner turned around.
The waitress turned around and a man who worked there picked of the phone and dialled three numbers. Anna knew he was calling the police. She got up from her seat pushed the waitress out if the way and ran out of the dîner...
