Naoki scanned her exam thoroughly, and that took like 5 minutes. She loved learning and so the test wasn't that hard for her but for the average person it will be.
'I'm guessing that the goal is to cheat in the right way, and not too obvious.' She thought out loud.. like in the mind scape
'Well duh..' naruto quickly commented in the mind scape
The way the shared mind link worked was a very strange process.. you should see it like three minds that are combined and can cut the link when they want.
To naoki this was helpful but it had one downside.. every thought would be known to not only herself but also to them.. a way to prevent this was to cut the link.. but the link kinda reconnects on its own.. and pretty fast too.. well, she'll figure something out someday..
But moving on to the exam
Naoki didn't feel like properly making the exam so She decided to mess with them. She wrote the right answers on the back, Except question ten. The tenth question was not on paper and will be given after 45 minutes by the proctor. That's what was written on the paper so..
On the front She drew a comic and the text was written in a code.. after that She just stared at the ceiling waiting for the tenth question
I'll count sheep or something.. it's not like I can do anything at the moment anyway. She thought
The watchdogs were thinking that she finished way too fast and thought it was suspicious.. they didn't even know how she cheated.. but when one of them saw she had just doodled on it he kinda snickered..
Naoki was pretty confident in her team since sasuke can always just use his sharingan to cheat. Sakura, she was very smart so she probably knew all the answers and wouldn't even have the need to cheat, and naruto he can always communicate with either her or a beast that has knowledge of more than hundred or so years.
Tick, tock, tick, tock
'So nii, did you finish?' Naoki asked her brother in the mind scape
'You could say so..' he said a little suspicious
'Don't tell me you left it blank...' naoki said
'Hahaha..' was all naruto replied
Naoki just sighed..
'Relax, there's always a twist in these exams. I'll definitely pass even with a empty sheet' he said confidently
'Nii.. this is real life not some manga you read..'
'Just trust me'
'But-'
'Shh, the proctor is going to begin the 10th question'
With that the link was cut and everyone started to listen to the proctor
"Ok, we will now start the 10th question." The proctor announced
Naoki stopped looking at the ceiling and payed attention
"Now before we get to it.. I'd like to go over the added rules for this question." He said
Then a person came in, the one who went to the bathroom
"Just sit down, I'll explain... these are the rules of desperation" he began
'Rules of desperation?' Naoki thought
'The hells that?' Naruto thought
"First, for the 10th question, you must decide whether you take it or not"
"Choose?! What happens if we don't take it?!!" A girl asked, she was the one who was with gaara her name is temari
"If you choose not to, your points will be reduced to zero and you fail along your teammates" he explained
"If you choose to take it? And answer incorrect... That person will lose the right to ever take the chuunin exam again!" He added
Naoki already grasped at what they were trying to do..
"What kind of stupid rule is that! There are guys who have taken the exam before!" Kiba complaint
The proctor laughed and said "you guys were just unlucky, this year it's my rules. But I'm giving you a way out, those that aren't confident can choose not to take it and try again next year."
"Now lets begin, the 10th question. Those who wish to not participate, raise your hand and leave once your number has been confirmed" he finished
The room was quiet, then the first one raised their hand and others followed
Naoki sighed.. they're giving up too fast..
"Don't underestimate us genins, even if we fail in the exam and stay genin forever, it's not like we won't be able to grow stronger. We'll just have to become strong enough and surpase the chuunins and then it will be your loss not ours." She stated hoping to boost up the ones hesitating..
The worries slowly faded from the fellow contestants
"I agree, Even if I stay a genin, I'll become the hokage anyway" naruto added with confidence
The proctor smiled for a split second before talking again
"I'll ask again, your life is riding on this decision. This is your last chance to quit."
"I never take back my words, that is my ninja way" naruto smiled
That sentence helped most of the contestants regain their confidence. No one was planning on leaving anymore
"Good decision, now everyone still remaining ... I congratulate you on passing the first test!" He announced
"What do you mean? We pass?? What about the tenth question???" Sakura asked
'Yeah what about it?!' Naoki thought
'You see, there's always a twist somewhere' Naruto quickly added
'Whatever.. you're just lucky..'
"There was never such a thing. Or you could say that those two choices were the 10th question." He started
"Then What about the questions on the paper test?! Were they pointless?" Temari asked
"They were not pointless, they had already served their intended purpose."
He then began explaining the test thoroughly. He said it was to test our information gathering skill.
Apparently there were actual chuunins put here to take information/answers from.. Naoki didn't even know.. and naruto didn't either
The ones that failed did a poor job and failed to properly get information, he showed them what could be the end result of not getting information properly.
He showed his head full scar, burns and after effects of torture..
"But I don't understand the final question." Temari said
He explained the purpose of the 10th question and ended it smoothly with
"those who can't put destiny on the line, cling to the uncertain future of 'theres always next year' and then walk away from their chance.. those pieces of trash who can only make such cowardly choices don't have the right to become a chuunin.. that's how I feel"
He also wishes the contestants luck for the further tests to come.
When everything seemed peaceful a woman broke through the window.
"You guys this is not the time to be celebrating!! I'm the examiner for the second exam!! Mitarashi anko! Now lets begin! FOLLOW ME!" She said/shouted
And so the second exam began.. or should have begun..
"Anko.. the second exam isn't until tomorrow.."
Anko was red and fled the scene out of embarrassment..

Team 7 passed the first exams with ease, the team instead of resting wanted to go prepare for tomorrow even though they don't know what it was..
"So let's all go to training ground three" naruto said exited for tomorrow
The rest agreed except naoki
"I'll pass.. I still have some unfinished business" she laughed
"Really? Well we'll see you tomorrow~" sakura said and waved
Naoki waved the group goodbye and went her own way
The truth was that Naoki couldn't stop thinking of what happened in the country of waves.. she had a gut feeling it was connected with her chakra elements.. but that was just one small thought.. because it seemed to weird to be connected...
She went to a separate training ground.. more like just deep into the forest and tried to use whatever she used back on that mission
The fist time it happened she felt like her chakra was pushing the ground away, making her levitate just a little.. naoki in secrecy has been trying to trigger that ever since she came back.. but no luck
