Grace's Point of View:
'HIDE THAT BOX FAST, NOW!!!' Flower screamed in my mind.
I took that box and threw it beneath the bed. My heart was pounding.
'Oh my goodness! Flower, who is at the door?! What should I do?!'
'Young lady, just open the door, and without thinking anything just say yes,' Flower said.
'Are you sure?'
'Yeah!' Flower said.
I opened the door with my shaky hands, hoping that I would not fall into any trouble.
"Will you go out on a date with me?" I saw Andrew with a nervous smile on his face.
"Yes!" I said without thinking anything. Oh my freaking gosh!! What the heck did I just do?!
"Great!! I'll meet you here tomorrow at 7," he said with a grin on his face. I was still in shock.
He inched forward and his rough lips touched my cheek, butterflies filled my guts. Sparks erupted in my body. Gosh!
My face turned red. I didn't know how to explain what I was feeling. But I was feeling something which I had never felt before.
"Bye," he said and walked away with a grin on his face.
'FLOWER!!! WHAT THE HECK?! WHY DID YOU TELL ME TO SAY YES??!!' I screamed in my mind after coming back to my senses.
I didn't hear anything back.
'Flower?!'
Some squeals distracted me. I looked towards the end of the corridor and saw three ladies and two chickens there. All of them were dancing and twirling, even the chickens.
"OH MY GOSH! THAT WAS SO CUTE!" I heard Katherine's voice.
"YES!" Elizabeth and Chafica said it together and clasped their hands.
The chickens made some noises and went away.
"SHE SAW US! RUN!" Chafica said. They looked towards me with wide eyes and ran away giggling.
I stood there with my mouth wide open, dumbfounded. What the fudge was happening?
I heard Flower's laugh. I closed the door and sat on the bed. What would I do tomorrow? What if I do something embarrassing?
'Ugh!!! Flower, why did you made me do that? What will I do tomorrow? What will I wear?' I shook my head and buried my face in the pillow.
'It was needed,' Flower said.
'Why?' I asked.
'Now is not the time. I promise you shall get all the answers. I am waiting to meet you in person, time is very near for us to meet. But time is going to be darker,' Flower's voice echoed in my mind. Thunder crackled again.
'We gonna meet?' I asked.
'Yes, we will meet. Young lady, I need to go now, don't open that box now. Its a parcel from me, you will get into trouble if you open it now,' Flower said.
'What?! That parcel is from you?' I asked. A sudden curiosity popped inside me, I wanted to open that box. What would be in it? Was it something magical?
I peeped down to see that box. I wanted to take and open it, but the thought of getting into more trouble refrained me from touching it.
"Flower, are you there?" I asked aloud.
I didn't hear anything back from Flower. I sighed, she left.
It's been so many days since I wrote anything. I wanted to write. I searched for paper and pen in the cupboard.
There was nothing here on which I could write. I groaned.
'I never want you to be in pain,' Flower sniffled. A pang of pain passed through my heart hearing this.
'Flower? What happened? I am not in pain,' I said.
'Young lady. Time is a cruel thing. It leaves you in pain,' Flower sighed.
'But there are good times too,' I said.
'You are strong. Very strong. I am very grateful to help a soul like you. We will meet soon,' Flower said.
I heard a knock on my door. Was Andrew again outside?
I opened the door and saw Thomas standing, with no expression on his face.
"Take this. You will know what to do with this in future," Thomas said, handing me a book.
"A book?" I frowned.
"It's not a normal book," Thomas said and walked away.
I closed the door and looked towards the book. It was a small and thin book. A picture of diamond was on its front cover.

I immediately opened this book to read it. I frowned, why were the pages blank?
'As Thomas said, you will find what to do with it in future,' I heard Flower's voice.
'Flower did you make Thomas give me this book? Do you know him?' I asked.
'No. And yes I know that grumpy man from many years. We both have a history of pranks,' Flower chuckled.
Thomas and pranking? I don't think he would prank anyone.
'His one prank changed many things,' Flower sighed.
What?
'I think I should really go now. My soul is tired.'

"Grace, wake up," I heard a voice.
"No," I said and pulled the sheets tighter.
"Wake up! We need to prepare for your date!!" It was Katherine.
I opened my eyes and gave Katherine a dirty look. I needed more sleep. What date was she talking about?
"Gosh! Only 10 hours are left for your date with Andrew! You need to wake up now!" she said.
My sleepiness vanished, and I sat up straight in my bed with eyes wide open. Oh my gosh! I had a date today.
"Yay! You woke up. Go and shower, we need to make you look very sexy today, Andrew wouldn't be able to take his eyes off from you. I'll be back with my make up kit," Katherine giggled and went outside.
Oh my! This was my first date ever. I squealed.

Shouts and screams and cries were everywhere. I heard more menacing laughter. The whole village was burning.
"DARKNESS HAS ARRIVED! ALL HAIL DARKNESS!"
