Dear journal,
The boy across the street gave me a drawing of a flower it was a great surprise to see someone be nice to me mama always said that all germans except papa were rude and evil especially the fuhrer. She would never tell me why she hated the fuhrer I've been learning about him in school he doesn't seem too bad. Or maybe I'm just telling myself that because I want to fit in here and everyone follows him. Papa says he's an idiot. Neither of them will tell me why they hate him so much I'll ask papa later today or maybe, just maybe I could ask Franz.
