I looked around the apartment and sighed
Me - Layla go put on your shoes .
She said ok and did as told . When she came back I grabbed my shoes and headed towards the door . I dropped her off over Deja house .
When I came back home I looked in the refrigerator, there was nothing to eat .
The door opened and in came Travis with bags of food in his hands .
Travis - hey baby
Me - hey boo he sat the bags down and left back out my apt , returning with more
Me - what's this ?
Travis - oh . I just brought yall some groceries
Me - you didn't have to . I'm going to work today
He looked at me
Travis - no you aren't
Me - yes I am I said grabbing my apron . My bills not gone pay themselves

Me - I appreciate you for the food but I got it baby .
He shook his head no and my stomach started hurting .
I sat down groaning

In the quickness he was back with a sandwhich

Travis - where you going ? He asked following us out the apartment
Me - she want to go over Deja's
Everybody in the hood just looked at me and I started to get irritated by all of the sad looks they were giving me .
It reminded me that my moms gone .
Travis - you ok ?
Me - I'm fine I said lowly walking back into the apartment building .
When I looked back I seen a black car .
I couldn't take the looks everyone were giving me .
Me - I'll have Deja come get you I told Layla

Deja came and got Layla and Liyah was making her something to eat .
I noticed all of the looks she was getting and I know that's why she came back in the house .
After she ate she laid down .
I opened her legs and laid by her lower stomach on my phone .
I'm not going to let her work .
I know I'm not going to hear the ending of it but imma pay her bills for her .
If I got it , she got it .
I know she don't wanna loose her mothers apartment .

I shook my leg side to side as I thought about that black car .

The black car was still sitting there . I looked at it and couldn't see inside of it .
I got in my moms car and drove off .

Boss man - I'm sorry about your moms , you know if you ever need anything I'm here .

With that I walked off .
I looked at the time that read 8:05 pm it was kinda dark out as I drove
My phone beeped and I looked at the message

I pressed call on the contact

With that I hung up and went home .
I grabbed my bag and slid back out the house before Travis nosey ass could question me .
I pulled up at our regular meet up spot and he got in my car .
