"Kookie, you awake yet?" I ask groggily as I turn around in bed and reach over to hug him, only to be met with the cold empty sheets instead. Yesterday's events come to mind, and tears, like rain, well up, reminding me of you. How could I have loved you so much, so much that I was blinded by that love. I would have followed you anywhere, blinded by that first love. Why couldn't I have realized sooner that I would never be enough for you, my wonderful Jeonguk. Hell, I can't even call you mine anymore, what am I doing.
I know you said it clear as day, but I need to hear I again, and again, and again for it to sink in. You are no longer mine, I know. But I can't seem to wrap my head around a life without you. Let me know, just one more time, that its over.
