PATTY’S PRO.
He kissed me. Zayn Malik kissed me. I couldn’t get that through my brain. Were we together? I think so,I mean he hasn’t let go of my hand the whole entire time. Whatever we were I definitely liked it. The plane ride was only two hours so it went by quickly. I was slightly worried that the press were going to be at the airport but I tried not to think of it. What was mostly running through my mind was why Zayn was bring me to Chicago to tell me something. It better be really important for him to bring me all this way.
We haven’t said anything to each other the whole flight. It was quiet but it wasn’t awkward, it was nice. The plane landed and we got our things. Even though all I had was my bag.. When I was walking off of the plane I payed close attention to see if there was any paparazzi around. Lucky, there wasn’t. Zayn was walking behind me and I kinda felt bad,but I didn’t say anything. I stopped walking.
“What’s wrong?” He asked worried.
“Why am I here?” I asked him slowly.
“I can’t tell you here, when we get to the hotel I’ll tell you. Please Patty,just trust me...Please” He pleaded.
How could I say no to that face? I felt as if there was nothing left to say, like there was nothing I could do but go with him. Is that what I was supposed to do? Go to some random hotel with him for him to tell me something? I just couldn’t think about it anymore. I needed to sleep it off. We got into a black car and I jumped into the passenger seat while Zayn got into the drivers seat.
“How far is the hotel from here?” I asked hoping that I could take a nap.
“About 15 minutes” he chuckled.
How was this funny? I was in some random state with Zayn Malik,this was nowhere near funny at all. I didn’t talk the whole way there, I just looked out of the window. I could tell that Zayn was nervous. Oh god. Here it goes, I thought as I got out of the car. But nothing. Absolutely nothing happened. We walked into the hotel room and I turned around and looked at him. “Tell me” I said seriously. He looked down and I stared right at him.
“Well, if were going to be together.I wanted to tell you that all of the paparazzi can get overwhelming. Fans can get pushy,and there can be some mean things said.” He said.
“But before you protest” He shot quickly so I closed my mouth.
“Let me finish” He pleaded.
“I didn’t know that me and you would end up together, I have feelings for you I honestly do. But all Im asking you is to please cope with it? The fans don’t need to be in our relationship. It’s just you and I.” He said seriously.
What was I supposed to say. I felt like crying. But I couldn’t cry, he would think I was an emotional bitch. Which I wasn’t. I just looked at him.
“You took me all the way over here to tell me that?” I said with a huge grin on my face.
He chuckled. “Yeah”.
“So,were together?” I asked nervously.
“Well,I like you.And I want to be. I mean,we told each other we loved each other on the plane? Do you want to ermm..Be my girlfriend?” he said with a smile.
“Yes” I said smiling. He kissed me.
We stood there kissing for a good 40 seconds. It was perfect.
“Please don’t change” I whispered to him as he pulled me into a hug.
“ I wont” He whispered back to me.
“Just don’t let fans get in the way” He whispered again.
“I wont” I answered.
A tear ran down my cheek but good thing I was still hugging him. I had no clue why I was crying. Im such a loser. I pulled away from the hug and just looked up at him.
“Well,today has been a long day. I need sleep. How long are we staying for?” I asked him while getting water from the sink.
“As long as you would like” he answered.
“Well considering we both have no clothes to wear,can we leave tomorrow? Oh and you and I need to talk about how were going to deal with all of this. We need a plan. I'm not going to just walk around with screaming fans and massive men with camera’s taking my picture every second of the day” I said.
“Yeah,well go take a shower.And then we’ll talk about it.” He told me.
“One problem Zayn” I said sarcastically.
He looked at me confused.
“No clothes!” I joked.
“Oh, right, I forgot. Uhm. That could be a problem.” He said.
He clearly hadn’t thought this whole thing through. Oh god.
“I'm not sleeping in these clothes!” I said pointing to the clothes that I was wearing.
“I have an idea” he said while raising his eye brows.
Oh god. I turned away and walked into the bathroom and took a shower. I washed off all of the makeup that I was wearing. It took me an hour to shower. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into the living room. Zayn had a different pair of clothes on. He was wearing blue Hollister sweats with no shirt. Oh my god. His abs.
“Um?” I asked.
He turned around and walked into the small kitchen. I followed him and he gave me a huge Hollister bag. “You went to Hollister?” I asked him.
“Well, we needed clothes. And it was the closest store. I wasn’t sure what you wanted so I got you sweats,jeans,shorts and some other stuff. You can go look” He told me and shrugged.
“What? Hollister is really expensive, I can’t let you pay for all of this” I told him.
“Sure you can,and do you not remember who I am? That was nothing I promise” he said and kissed my nose. I smiled a little and went to get changed.
I dumped the bag onto the bed.He literally bought everything. What to wear. I pulled on ripped mini shorts with a dark blue tank top. I put all of the other clothes back into the bag and put the bag on the floor next to the bed. I walked into the bathroom and tried to fix my hair but decided that I didn’t feel like it so I just left it to dry. I went into the little living room and sat on Zayn’s lap. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed the back of my shoulder. It was new for me. I never really was this close with somebody. I felt safe with him even though I have only known him for a couple of days.
“So,what’s the plan” I asked him.
“Well, do you want the fans to know about us?” He asked.
“Not really,I think we shouldn’t say anything until we really know were into it..” I simply replied.
“Yeah,that’s what I was thinking. That’s going to be hard. We have to be extra careful.” He said.
“But I have to tell one person..” I said awkwardly..
“Well,I have to tell 4..” He said looking at me.
“That's it.5 People.Nobody else knows!” I told me.
“You promise?” We both asked each other and nodding in agreement.He kissed my temple.
“Well,i’m tired"I said as I got up from his lap.
“Me too” he said following me into the bedroom.
I took a pair of sweats out of the Hollister bag and went into the bathroom. I changed into the sweats and climbed into the bed. This was going to be awkward I just knew it. I pulled the blanket over myself and buried my face into the pillow. Zayn planted himself right next to me. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me towards him. We were now right next to each other. Our faces less than an inch apart. I dug my face into his neck and closed my eyes. He was so warm. It was amazing.
“Can I ask you something?” he whispered.
“Mhm” I mumbled.
“Why did you ask me where Harry was before?” He whispered again.
I took my face out of his neck and replied. “Well he was at our hotel with Kristina. I think their like ‘together’ “ I told him.
“Oh,well good for him.Louis is gonna be JEALOUS!” He said laughing.
I couldn’t help but laugh. “Well Im happy for them” I said with a smile.
“Me too” he replied.
“Well Im tired,so goodnight love” I whispered to him and dug my face back into his neck.
“Goodnight” he whispered back. I closed my eyes once again and fell into a deep sleep.
