It was so upsetting thinking that today was the day of my mothers funeral. It's only been two days without my mom and I already miss her so much, and so does Payton. Every second I get chills from flashbacks from when I was little, where she would tickle me to death, and we would spend so much time together.
I went into my new room, and put on a black dress. I curled my hair with my wandless curler, making spiral curls. Then, I put on my usual makeup. I looked in the mirror and went into Paytons room, helping her get ready. She was also wearing a black dress. "Hi, Brooke! you look so pretty. You look just like mommy.." Payton complimented, smiling. Harry knocked, "Mind if I come in?"
"Nope, comee in!" Payton yelled.
Harry walked into the room, "Both of you look beautiful. Are you guys ready?"
"Yep, lets go.." I quietly mumbled, looking down, grabbing Payton and Harrys' hand.
We all walked into the car, driving to the church.
I looked out the window, thinking about my mom. She knew how to make me happy whenever I was upset. I could tell her anything. Everything. Now, theres nobody. Nobody that would understand my problems like mom did.
We arrived at the church. Again, I walked hand in hand with Payton and Harry. Everyone started giving their speeches. Niall and Leah were here, too. Payton went up to say her speech.
"My mommy was the best mom anyone could ever have. She cared for us through everything and I wouldn't want to trade her for anything in the whole entire world. I love her so much and I miss her already, but she's in my heart right now. She's in everyone of our hearts. " Payton finished with her hand to her heart, walking back over to Harry as I walked up.
"It's only been about two days, and of course, I miss my mom already. I'm going to miss her when something good happens, because she would be the only one I would share the good news with. I'm going to miss her when I laugh and cry, because she was the one who always used to make the tears disappear. But, most of all, I'm going to miss her everytime I lay down at night, because I would think of all the fun times we spent together.. I love you, mom." I started tearing up and walked back to Harry and Payton, while everyone else finished their speeches. Harry rubbed my back, giving my comfort.
After our speeches, we all had the viewing. It was so hard looking at my mom like this. I swore that I saw her breathing, but it was impossible. Payton started to burst out into tears and sob. I hugged her while looking at my mom, just laying there..
We then followed all the cars, leading to the cemetery. Her tombstone read,
R.I.P.

April 16th, 2012.
Seeing those words, made it all feel like just a huge nightmare. I couldn't believe she was gone. Why did she have to leave us?
We left the cemetery, leaving to go home.
"I'm really sorry, Brooke.." Harry whispered, holding my hand.
"It's fine..thank you so much for helping me through this, though." I smiled.
"You're welcome." Harry replied. "I love you.."
"I love you too, Harry." I kissed his cheek.
This wasn't the first time he said that to me, but it was the first time I could actually feel that he meant it.
