I open my eyes it was Saturday so I came up sleeping bit more.
I saw my phone 3 miscalls from sam & 15 messages just then I remembered that today was an extra class!
I saw the clock I just couldn't Believe my eyes what I was seeing omg it's 8 o'clock im late for college gosh why didn't I remember?!
Just then I got a message*
Sam: rameen I'm downstairs I'll leave you if you dont come in 3 minutes
I changed my clothes in to hoodie, pants & a pony tail, ran downstairs we immediately got into sam's car since I'm a middle class girl who go to college in a bus Today was Saturday & half day that's why Sam said we can go in her car.
After few minutes
Sam: do u know today is the day the new student is coming I wanted to see him but because of you I couldn't see him.
Me: like seriously Sam? You can see him in class, no?
Sam: why like ? Every girl in the college is talking about him. why aren't you talking about him?
Me: well I don't have time to talk about people whom i don't know
Sam: okayy! Well... we've reached let's go before it's too late.
Me : yep!
We we're just entering in class but stopped cause of our sir who was staring at us
Sir: oh so did you get the time to come to college?
Sam: sir please.. we won't be late again please
(everyone was watching this whole scene when me & Sam noticed the new guy. I immediately ignored him like I didn't saw him cause i recognised him I was amazed I didn't know I will meet him like this, what they say? When you least expect it)
Me: I pleaded, sir please ? This is our very important class. Pleaseee!!
Sir: okay but you're not going to be late from now on... Get it?
sam & I said yes okay type answer to sir
Me & Sam looked at him & smiled he smiled back so that it wouldn't be any more awkward cause he was just looking at us continuously & i knew why
At Last class was over me & sam was packing our stuff...
"come with me let's talk to him" sam said curiously
"I am not coming with you go alone" I said
"you always do this rameen" Sam said
"Hufff" I sigh
We were just blabbering when he came towards us...
"Hey, my name is hadi, hadi haider"
(I was a little confused , wow he's fast & happy at the same damn time)
At first I'm shy a lil bit cause I don't talk much in the first place with anyone. I always need some time to get frank with the person, to be comfortable with them.
Sam immediately answered him like she was just waiting for him (well Obviously)
"hey!! I'm samreen my friends call me sam" sam said smiling for no reason
He looked at me & chuckled I smiled & rolled my eyes
"hi I'm rameen... So...did you like the college? I said changing the topic i didn't know what to say so i just asked anything then I realized it was stupid
"yea just going with the flow..." he said smiling
"ohkayy" sam & me both said in unison
"So where are you from?" Sam said
"Malaysia. It's just me & my dad small family just been days since we've moved here so I'm just kinda you know going along with things..."
"yeah..." I said
"So... will... see you on monday" saying this with a smile he left
HADI'S POV
I just don't believe it when I saw her I was like she is the one I've been looking for unbelievable she exist? the connection thing my best friend it was all real! cause I thought she doesn't exist how can someone so similar to you exist yes people have common things to each other but not like this! When I saw her I immediately recognised her I couldn't believe that. I just found her. I was just waiting for the bell to rang curiously thinking of not missing her again & as the bell rang I immediately went to talk to her she was shy I didn't replied to samreen cause we all know how awkward she was behaving so I faced raameen so that she could say something. she looked at me like she knew that she had found something or someone i don't know but I just felt like it.
1 Week Later
It was Monday I reached to college & when I reached there I couldn't find sam so I texted her but no response. I texted her about the project last night but no answer. I just went into the class it was all empty just like my heart. I was thinking about the thoughts i just couldn't concentrate on my lectures cause I was ignoring my thoughts but day by day & he was in my mind it's just I've waited so long I've spend so much time searching him what if he doesn't feel the same?
Just then i felt someone entering into class
"Hey how r u rameen?" Hadi said casually
"Hey I'm fine. You?"
"me too. Well... did u see Ali somewhere? I can't find him anywhere"
"Nope"
(Sam entered with mean girls-... wait Sam with mean girls?!)
"hey hadi how are you I knew i would find you here" Sam said
"hey, why... were you finding me?" Hadi said being confused
"Nothing important" smiling*
"uh...okay..." Hadi said
"sam where's your project?" I said to sam who was not even looking at me what happen to her in 2 days of holidays I thought.
"Ya where is it?" Hadi said
"oh I didn't make it. I didn't had time" Sam said
hadi & me looked at each other & thought why is she behaving awkward
"Sam I heard you had a fight on Friday with sara? Is everything okay?" Hadi said teasing her
(I was like fight? What fight??)
"nothing... It was just about studies & all" sam said while being confused
"well Whatever you say" he said & goes to his seat
"So! Sam why didn't you reply to me last night & today?" I said knowing what she was doing
"Well I was busy" Sam said ignoring me
"busy? Is that it? & why are these girls with you?" I said trying to avoid the thought of her not being with me now
"I don't want to tell you anything" Sam said in anger
(& she goes to sit with the mean girls making me staring her in anger & I go to her)
"what the hell is this?? What's the matter of your sudden change?" I just asked her what was the reason for ending this friendship.
"I don't want to talk to you, you know what? I don't want you as a friend anymore I hate you for being the "different girl oka-.."
I cut her off
"You know what? that's the thing of course you'll hate me because when you came up to me for friendship that was just for your motive" i said ending what was never started
(I didn't said that loud as I said that I get out of the class hadi saw me going out of the class but he didn't heard anything)
Samreen was not my friend now. If I was wrong we would be friends now but sam is sam she always does this in everything even in studies so let's just forget about her.
So it was break & I was eating my lunch when he came
"heyy yo what's up?" Hadi said casually
"nothing's up everything's down" I said coming out of my thoughts
"Hmm... I know it's been 2 days but I thought you were upset so I didn't asked before. is...everything okay?" He asked curiously
"Yeah I'm fine" I said being tired of my thoughts
"Come on rameen! She's just jealous!"
"I know but the thing is... Whenever I become friends with someone they just leave just like sam like we weren't even friends. I don't know why does it happen to me always why does everyone leave me alone" I said avoiding what I just said
"Yeah it happens even it had happened to me. I just go with flow & I'm your friend right? We will not do anything like that to each other" he smiled
I smiled "yeah"
We talked about our favourites our favourites matched so much our personality everything in him matches so much with mine it's like we have a connection. I don't know why but I just feel some connection. I've never met anyone so similar to me a girl or a boy anyone I've never seen somebody like me it's like we're different & rare to find & now God as blessed me with the one.
After a month & a half
Days passed by in not just a hello & hi between hadi & me but we get to know each other hadi spend most of his time with me & me also since Sam wasn't with me hadi changed his seat & started sitting with me It was the begining of being best friends.
