DAY 194
Tomorrow's new year...the days really go fast. *sigh*
Me and Tsuna are going well. He...he's fun to be with.
Actually, I gathered all my courage. Tomorrow, tonight, I'll confess!
I'm not going to chicken out. I'm going to risk everything. My relationship as friends, being rejected, all...I'm ready at whatever Tsuna will throw at me.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
"who's there?" I asked.
"Jewel-chan, it's Tsuna" he said.
BOOGSH!
Tsuna came, rushing in. "what was that noise?!" he panicked.
He saw me, on the floor. Why? I panicked when I heard his name.
He helped me got up. I blushed. Really...being with him...it's different with Carl.
"what happened?" he asked.
"ah! Nothing! I just slipped" I replied.
"okay, I heard okaa-san said that your going to the shopping district"
"yeah, I'll buy a yukata for today and tonight" I said.
"I'll go with you then"
I stiffened. What did he say? He-he's going to accompany me? I started staggering.
"you okay?!" he caught me from falling.
"none, just excited that my legs feel wobly" I lied.
We went out. We headed towards the shopping district.
We were walking, together. Side by side...my face feels hot!
Then, I felt his hand touched mine. Then, I accidently hitted a pole, for my head was busy of the thought.
"Jewel!" Tsuna stood me up.
"hah? Sorry, my mind was full of excitement and it made me busy" I half-lied. It did block my mind.
Then, we arrived at the shop.
"ah!" I saw a beautiful yukata. It's color orange...ever since I came here, I took a liking to orange.
It is a fine cloth. Has silver designs. It has silver embroidery that took shape of small flowers.
I also found a matching hairpin and sandals. Also a fan!
"I'll go change okay?" I said to Tsuna as I went to the dressing room.
I finished changing and I got out of the dressing room.
"um...eto...do I look good?" I asked. It's my first time wearing a yukata.
"you don't look good in it..." he said.
I felt...shattered. I feel like crying. I lowered my head.
"you look beautifull in it" he said.
I looked up, he was smiling. I brightened up.
Then, I hitted him softly in the chest. "baka! I thought you said that I was ugly!"
"eeh? Sorry! I didn't mean to make you think that your ugly. I'm really sorry" he apologised.
"I forgive you...just...say it in a whole sentence, no stopping or cutting it off" I stated.
We went back home. Tsuna also changed his clothes to a yukata. Because of the color of our yukatas, it seems like we both have matching outfits.
While waiting for midnight, we roamed around the streets even if it's still day.
Then, it became darker and darker. It's already night. My new years resolution is to confess my feelings this new year.
Then, me and Tsuna went to stall to stall. Tsuna gave me a cotton candy. I was really happy.
Then, we sat at the stairs, waiting for new year and fireworks.
"where are the others?" I asked.
"they are also here, but I can't find them though" Tsuna sighed.
"eh, it's 3 minutes before new year" I said.
I guess that's okay. No one will bother or hear my confession except Tsuna and I.
"2 minutes!" I heard the crowd from below yelled.
My heart started beating faster. I'm getting nervous.
"1 minute!" They yelled. Some where yelling loudly, some prepared fireworks, others...nothing.
"so, what's your new years resolution?" Tsuna asked.
"40 seconds!"
"huh? My new years resolution?"
"yes, I want to know"
"30 seconds!"
"If I tell you, would you tell yours?"
"yes, I promise you that"
"20!" the yells are getting louder.
My heartbeat's rising. I'm going to have a heart attack!
"10!"
"Jewel, please?"
"9!"
"but..."
"8!"
"I promise, I won't laugh or make fun of you"
"7!"
"if I tell you...by chance..."
"6!"
"by chance what?"
"5!"
"leave me"
"4!"
"No, I won't. Promise" he reassured.
"3!" here goes nothing.
"2!" I'm going to do it!
"1!" Here it goes!
"happy new year!" the crowd goes wild.
"My new years resolution is this..." I took a deep breath.
"Tsuna...I like you! I liked you ever since I came into this world! No-I liked you ever since I watched your adventures" I said...I said it...
"Tsuna...I...I...I love you" I confessed.
I'm so embarassed right now. I want to disappear into thin air. I don't want to look him in the eye so, I looked down.
"Jewel-"
"it's okay...if you reject me, it's okay. I know you love Kyoko" I said, still looking down.
"you don't need to pity me or something like that. Also, I don't want love that comes from pity..."
"sorry if I placed you in this kind of situation. I just...can't hold it any longer..."
"also, don't worry. I won't hurt Kyoko or-"
Tsuna suddenly hugged me. Eh? His hug was tight so I can't get out.
"Jewel, you got it all wrong" he said. eh?
I can hear fireworks now. I can see some from the corner of my eye.
"I like you too...I love you back" Tsuna tightened his grip.
"if all this time...when you see me and Kyoko...I'm sorry...I've been hurting your" he apologised.
"Also, I only realised it the day before the Torbido came and when you left. It made sense now"
"why I was angry at Hibari when I saw the both of you. Whenever you smile or comfort me...I feel enlightened"
"I learned from the TYL me that the little girl from the future...was actually our daughter. I was so happy. I also learned that we got married" he stated.
"how?" I asked.
"The TYL me left a note and he said it all" he replied.
"so, you don't hate me?" I pulled away.
BAM! BOOM!

"I love you, Tsuna" I smiled and tears rolled down my cheek.
"I love you too, Jewel" Tsuna replied back.
Then, he pulled me closer and kissed me. It wasn't passionate but it was a good feeling. It was soft and gentle.
"I love you" I said again.
He smiled even more. "I love you more, Jewel"
Our foreheads touched, also our noses.
"happy new year" I whispered.
"happy new year too" he muttered.
