~About your writing life~
1) At what age do you think writing started to appeal you?
At the age of 12
2) What made you want to start writing?
Certain movies and books inspired me to want to write my own stories.
3) What are you favorite genres to write? Why?
Fantasy, adventure, action, and thriller. Mostly put all together. I grew up homeschooled, so I didn’t really experience going to public school or having a lot of friends, or going places, so writing fantasy stories mixed with adventure or action is what I’m best at. Although I could write other types of genres based off of what I know from just watching movies or reading other stories.
4) What is your main goal you want to achieve on Wattpad? How do you plan to accomplish it?
To get a lot of comments and reads on my story, The Old House on Timber Hill and hopefully by that it would attract someone who would Iike to help me publish it.
It’s definitely going to take a while, but I’m hoping by reading other stories to get honest comments on mine.
5) Is writing a vital [important] part of your life? If so how?
Yes. It’s what I want to do for the rest of my life. I find myself enjoying writing what I imagine and putting into words and on paper. To create a story completely different and share it to the world. Also to have people enjoy reading my writing as much as I enjoyed writing it. Almost every day I’m writing something whether it’s relating to school or personal writing.
6) How does writing influence your life? If it does, what role does it play in it?
I would say writing helps me live my stories when I write. I know it will never happen in real life, but writing while imagining everything that is happening is sort of living it in a way, in your mind. I don’t try to make up a story just to imagine living in it. It sort of comes to me from watching a movie, reading a book that gives me an idea, or having a sudden dream that you don’t completely understand what happened or don’t remember, you have the images in your mind and then you fill in the blanks to make it understandable. That’s what I do. Writing is definitely something I enjoy and can’t live without.
7) What is your guilty pleasure in writing? {Optional} [i.e. R-rated etc.]
Mostly writings that everyone can read. It’s not limited to only children or teens or adults.
8) Where do you write your stories? And when is your best time to do so?
On my laptop. Typing it gets my thoughts, stories, or ideas down fast. I do sometimes write on paper. I started that when I was young since I didn’t have a computer then. The best time I write is when I have time or feel like writing.
