Lightning,
I got the news yesterday. My mom still made me go to school, though. I was crying way too much, so Mrs. Pastel made me go to the office. I went to the councilor. She told me that some people... when they can't communicate... they write or draw. Since I can't draw when I'm crying, I wrote.
I don't know what to say, Lightning.
The news of your death hit me HARD. And I mean hard. Austin asked me if I knew if it was suicide or an actual accident that took you from us. I shrugged and walked off. That's when I started crying again. And that's when I ended up here.
What else? I don't know. Lightning, I just don't know anymore. Your death rattled me and I can't think straight anymore. I was doing the warm up in science and ended up writing an essay instead of five vocabulary words. And you know that science is second period and English is eighth.
You were like my compass, Lightning.
And people get lost without compasses.
