(Yoongi's point of view)

I checked my phone to read the anonymus message again.

Unknown number
Come to the tunnel at the main road.

Getting annoyed and nervous waiting for so long, I kept looking at the time. In a way, I had expected being called out soon, because of a phone call I had gotten the day before.

I knew that the poisoning at the banquet had been intentional, but maybe they were out for me and not Y/N after all for whatever reason.
It was best to settle it now and not risk Y/N getting hurt anymore. About 40 minutes had already passed and I just had enough of this.

I thought I knew who had sent the message, but it seemed as if I was wrong after all. Maybe I had just been played.

Time to head back before that idiot drinks herself into a coma.

My phone rang as I soon as got out of the tunnel and had signal again, showing me all the missed calls and messages from Y/N.

Y/N
Yoongi are you coming back soon?

I decided not to answer, since I was going to be back in five minutes anyway.

That girl... I still didn't get why she was so worried about me all the time.
I really wasn't worth her time and yet, she still seemed to care.

Rushing back, I parked the car again and entered Hoseok's house. The music was double the volume than it had been before and everyone was drunk already.

Great, now I'll have to carry her home again...

I searched the whole place, not able to find her. My first thought was that she was lying around drunk somewhere.
Feeling a stain of worry, I started looking for Hoseok instead.

"Hoseok", I patted his shoulder.

"Yoongiii, there you are", he blurted out, obviously drunk.

"Have you seen Y/N?", I asked him seriously.

He just scratched his head.
"She... uh I think I remember her leaving."

My eyes widened.
"What?? Where to?"

Hoseok shrugged his shoulders. This wasn't typical for him. If he hadn't been drunk, he would have been twice as worried as I was.

"She was on her phone for a moment and then left", Hoseok managed to mumble out before throwing himself on the sofa.

I felt sweat breaking out all over my body. Did she get a similar message to mine?
Or...
Was I only being distacted while she was actually the one they wanted to meet?

It did make sense, if she was truly the one they wanted to get rid of. But why her?

Panicked, I ran out of the house again. I had no idea where she could be or where the person could have taken her to. I hoped I could prove myself wrong by calling her.
She didn't pick up after five times.

That was the moment I started going crazy.

"Idiot!", I cursed and slapped myself.
Why did I ever even leave her alone? It was so obvious that it was a trap.

This was no time for regretting things. I needed to find her quickly before something happened. My phone rang and I almost let it fall because of the fast movement I made to check it.

It was a message from Y/N, but...

Y/N:
Come to the cliffs.

I knew that wasn't her. Why would she have went to the cliffs by herself at that time? She had probably gotten a similar message I had and went over to the cliffs.

Your point of view
(some time earlier)

"J-jimin?", I stuttered inbetween my heavy breathing.
"Were you the one who sent me that message?"

Jimin seemed distracted by the night sky and the harsh and aggressive waves hitting the cliffs we were at. I held myself far away from the edge, while he stood relatively close.
I was still out of breath because of the running. Obviously, Yoongi wasn't there and was not in danger, which relieved me.

"Yeah, that was me. Sorry for dragging you out here at this time", he spoke quietly.
I could barely understand him from the sound of the water and howling wind.

"You came here expecting to meet Yoongi, right?"
He turned to face me.

I gulped. Somehow he scared me.

"Why the message?", I asked sceptically.
Obviously, he was the one who had lured me here for some reason. But why had he written the message to sound as if Yoongi was in danger?

"Come closer so I can tell you", Jimin smiled, waving me over to him.

There was no way I was going to go over there.

"Are you scared of me Y/N?", he acted surprised.

I didn't give a comment. I figured that I would be safe if I stayed back, so I could use the chance to talk to him.

"Oh well... Yoongi will be joining us soon anyway", he muttered.

Did he plan this? Or actually, what was he even planning? Was Yoongi coming here too?

"What are you trying to do? Why did you call me here?"

He looked at me blankly, starting to come closer. My heartbeat increased out of fear.

"Why?", he asked slyly, touching my cheek.
"To see Yoongi suffer."

I flinched at his sudden touch. He had come so close without me being able to react. To see Yoongi suffer? For what reason even? I didn't understand anything.

I had noticed that they didn't like each other, but what exactly was wrong with him?

Jimin just let out a soft chuckle.
"You'll find out soon."

He then grabbed me suddenly, and picked me up as if I was a bag.
I screamed out of surprise and fear while I hung over his shoulder. Struggling wasn't the wisest idea anymore since he was carrying me straightly towards the edge.

My eyes widened in shock as he let go of me just a step before the deep abyss. I never had a phobia of heights, but this made want to cry. There was something about the view that was like a magnet. Just looking down made me feel like I was being pulled by some invisible force.

"Pretty view, right?", Jimin smiled.

I wanted to push him away from me, but I was still like hypnotized by the height.
"What do you want from me?"

Jimin grabbed me again, turning me around so that I was facing the direction I had just come from. I had turned by back on the abyss, but the thought that there was nothing but just a step behind me made me even more scared.

"Give me your phone", he said in a daring tone and I obeyed.
I didn't want to risk getting him angry. He looked like a psycho.

Jimin seemed to have been enjoying my fear as he put his one arm on my shoulder while writing a text with the other. He had opened up a chat with Yoongi on my phone.
"Don't worry, Yoongi will come to save you if he really loves you."

Loves me?

"Yoongi doesn't love me", I commented, still feeling my heart beat like crazy. I was only a step away from death.

I didn't know what Jimin thought, but maybe there was some misunderstanding? At least I hoped there would be.

He just laughed.
"I've never thought of you as naïve, especially after always getting away from me. But I guess I was wrong."

What did he mean?

"Always getting away from you?", I tried stalling for time.

I didn't know what exactly he wanted from me and Yoongi, but I didn't even want to think about him pushing me down.

"No matter what I tried to get you and Yoongi away from each other, I couldn't. I guess it was my fault that you didn't trust me completely from the beginning", he admitted.

"Was that why you told me the story about Minah and how you think he killed her? To try and make me hate him?"
What was his goal anyways? Why did he want to seperate us?

Jimin put his finger in front of my mouth for me to shut up.

"Let's leave the talk for when Yoongi gets here. Instead, enjoy the sound of the ocean", Jimin pointed out and put his hand down again.

I gulped. To be honest, I was hoping for Yoongi to get here soon, but somehow, I was also afraid of what would happen once he did. Did Jimin want to push me down? Or was his goal hurting Yoongi instead?

What did I even have to do with the hatred Jimin felt towards Yoongi?

A sudden memory flashback made me almost lose my balance.

At the banquet, I somehow remembered seeing Jimin's blonde hair from the back, but he had passed so quickly, that I hadn't immediately recognized him.

I gathered the courage to speak again.
"Was it you? The poison?"

"Well you're early in realizing things", he laughed.

"But why?", I tried asking, but he told me to be quiet again.

I didn't know how much time had passed, but my mind was going crazy while thinking of reasons why Jimin did this. What good would it even do him? And why was he so fixated on getting to Yoongi? Why did I have anything to do with it?

A sudden sound and a familiar, deep voice parted me from my thoughts a second later. My breath hitched for a second when a dark haired man stepped up the path.

It was Yoongi.
His eyes rested on me, panic growing in them while scanning the situation.

Jimin tightened his grip on my shoulder, almost as if anger had overthrown him.

I tried saying something, but Jimin was quicker.
"Don't come closer Yoongi", he sneered with a daring tone.
He sounded as if he was going to push me if we didn't obey him.

"You sent me the message to lure me to that tunnel, right?", Yoongi questioned.

Was that the reason he had left the party? He got a message too?

"And sending you a message from     Y/N's phone to let you know she was in danger. Similar way to how I got her to come here."

But why did he do all of this to lure us here and why was he daring to push me off a cliff? Yoongi scanned the situation and seemed to have realized everything much quicker than I had.
"She doesn't have anything to do with your grudge against me. Let her go."

Jimin snorted and broke into a laugh.
"Nothing to do with it? Then tell me why you came to save her at all?"

Yoongi pulled a face. His expression was helpless and panicked, but I saw that he tried to keep a straight face.

My legs already felt numb from the fear and pain the cold had given me.
I was freezing.

"You care for her, don't you? Otherwise, you wouldn't have come for her", Jimin almost whispered, pushing me a little to the front.
I got a shock for a moment that he was going to push me off the cliff.

"Jimin, just let her go and then let's talk", Yoongi suggested, his voice trembling a little.

"Talk about what? How you used Minah and then made her kill herself?"

My body froze.
Was this about Minah too? What connection did Jimin even have to her?

Yoongi pulled a confused face, just as I did.

"Don't act stupid, she was in love with you and you just treated her like garbage!!", Jimin yelled.

Yoongi's face saddened. He knew it was true. The dark orbs that were his eyes could not be seen through. He looked so empty inside.

Jimin's voice was trembling from anger and sadness. If he continued like this, I was going to land at the bottom of the ocean in no time.

"Why didn't you love Minah back like she deserved?", Jimin asked angrily.

Yoongi looked down at his feet. He was unsure of how to handle the situation, since he knew well that Jimin would overreact over every detail.

"I'm sorry, but I can't control how I feel", Yoongi said in a careful tone.

I don't know why it was in this situation, but it still made me feel better knowing that he didn't love Minah. So stupid of me for being in love at this point. Jimin's body became tense behind me. He obviously wasn't happy with the answer.

He got even more pissed.
"FUCK YOU!! She deserved better than you, asshole!"
Yoongi seemed surprised, so was I.

"What... is it to you?", Yoongi slowly phrased.

True. The thing Yoongi and I had been wondering about most.

What did Jimin have to do with Minah and how come he knew so much about her?

Jimin coughed before explaining.

"I loved Minah! She always helped me with my problems! We were friends, but she never saw me as more than that, even though I did everything for her!"

My eyes widened. It all made sense now.

I guessed not even Yoongi had known about this. Jimin had actually loved Minah too. I felt so stupid not realizing it earlier, by the way he had talked about her. Why else would he have cared so much?

"When she got all obsessed over you, I at least hoped you would give her what she wanted, but you just rejected her and broke her heart over and over again", Jimin shouted over the sound of a wave clashing against the cliff.

"You were the reason she killed herself, and now I'll show you what it felt like for me to lose her", he dared, shaking my body with his grip.

My heart skipped several beats, out of fear and also because my body temperature was so low that the only thing that had kept me alive was the adrenaline rushing through my veins.

Yoongi took a hasty step forward, making Jimin flinch.
"I said don't come closer!"

Yoongi obeyed once again, pressing his lips together in frustration.
"Why Y/N? Why not me?"

"The first time I met Y/N at that party, I immediately noticed how you were watching her. You got jealous every time I talked to her and didn't want me around her. Seeing how much you cared, I figured it was the perfect chance for me", Jimin explained.

I knew the moment was inappropriate, but I felt my heart flutter. Yoongi being jealous?

"Jimin...please", Yoongi mouthed, not taking his eyes off me.

He was maintaining eye contact with me, probably trying to calm us both down by doing so. I didn't know how this was going to turn out, but I didn't have a good feeling about it.
