I sit in a room messing with my ice ability. I hear someone walk in and I look up to see a man. "Hey, you're Caitlin right?" I nod. "I'm Scott, the professer is ready for you." I stand up and I follow Scott to Charles.
When we finally get to Charles we see 3 other people with him. There's Jean and a man with a teenager. She didn't look very old and she has a strand of white in her hair. The man was quite tall and very buff. I could sense the pain he was in just by being near him.
"Is this a bad time?" Scott asks. Everyone turns to look at me and Scott. I hated being the center of attention. I wanted to disappear but I resisted the urge to.
Charles shook his head. "No. Logan, Rouge, can we continue this conversation later?" they both nod. I move further away from the door letting them pass. I look at Charles. "Caitlin, good to see you." I let a small sigh out.
"Why did you wanna see me?" I sounded slightly impatient. I didn't mean to it just happened. I had to admit my people skills sucked. But Charles doesn't seem fazed by it.
"Well, I wanted to know how much control you had over your abilities."
"A lot."
"So if you were in a dangerous situation with a team you wouldn't hurt the team?"
"The team, no I wouldn't hurt them. I'm not the weapon I was made to be." Jean, Scott, and Charles have a sad look on their face.
"Great." Charles says, breaking the silence.
"Was there anything else you needed?" I ask.
"No, thank you." I nod and I walk out of the room. The first person I see is the man from earlier, Logan. I get slightly uncomfortable from the pain I sense he's in so I head back in my room.
I look around confused. At first I don't know where I am but then I realize it when I see a few doctors walk in. I back up against the wall. I try to eject my claws but it doesn't work. I do feel pain though.
My eyes open and I gasp in pain. I blink a couple times, I couldn't see much because of how dark it was. I concentrate and I can eventually see. I look down at my stomach to see blood. Obviously caused by my claws that I had impaled myself with. I sigh and I rip my claws out. I resist the urge to scream. I sheath my claws and I turn on the lamp next to my bed and I stop using my night vision so I can actually see. My wound heals quickly and I get up. I look at my blood ridden sheets. I walk to the dresser on The other side of my room and I see some sheets inside. I take them out and I remake my bed. I dispose of the sheets and I lay back down. I don't dare to go back to sleep. So I just lay there staring at the ceiling.
