I'm currently on a plane, once again. except this time, I didnt sleep, I should be sleep right now, but I'm too busy having a panic attack literally dying. so, I decided to text jaeden.

❝red or black?❞ I asked jaeden through the phone as I tried on different dresses in the mirror. lately, jaeden and i started to realize that we're not attracted to each other romantically. whenever we tried to say cute little comments or say something you would say to your crush, it felt more like I was saying it to my brother. so, we agreed on being best friends whenever.
❝i dunno, lemme see them.❞ he said. ❝what? no. its like my wedding day, if you see me before the event, then you'll be cursed forever and die.❞ I said, half joking. jaeden laughed loudly through the phone, causing me to laugh. ❝okay, that is not how that works but, okay, whatever, go with red. finn likes red.❞ he said, intentionally adding the last statement.
❝i hate you.❞ I said, finally picking out match in shoes. he chuckled again then I sat the dress on the bed, now preparing for my shower. ❝love you too.❞ he said, already visualizing him smiling. ❝alright, cheesball. I'm gonna go take a shower, I'll talk to you when I come back.❞ I announced as I entered the bathroom. ❝alright, twizzler, bye.❞ ❝bye.❞ then, I ended the call and turned on my playlist before starting my shower.
no more than 15 minutes later, I'm out the shower and drying off. after I applied lotion, washed my face etc etc, I somehow wound up back in my closet. whilst I was searching for more clothing, my phone started ringing. so, sprinted to my nightstand and instantly swiped accept, already knowing who it is. ❝okay, okay, okay. the dresses are out the picture-❞
❝what? why?-❞ jaeden began to ask but I cut him off. ❝let me finish, potato. I was saying, they're out the picture because I remebered that this is jack's birthday party so, literally no one is going to dressed up. so, I'm going to send you different pictures of me wearing outfits and youre gonna tell me which ones better, Kay?❞ I asked, finishing my explanation.
jaeden sighed and I could visulaize him shaking his head. ❝i dont know why you put me in these situations but, okay.❞ he said, causing me to smile. ❝thanks babe, you're the best.❞ I said. ❝yeah, yeah, just send the pictures.❞ he said, with a drop of sass in his tone. I raised my eyebrows at his playful attitude but sent the pictures nonetheless.
❝its cute, but is it worthy of jack's presence?❞ jaeden said, acting as my fashion couch.

❝i like it but, why do you look so uncomfortable?❞ he asked, through laughs. I joined and face palmed myself. ❝it was like 80° in that store! I didnt want Instagram to see the pits!❞ I informed him, causing him to laugh again. ❝alright, is that it?❞ he asked.❝yeah.❞ I said. ❝alright...um...too cool for school.❞ he decided. ❝yeah?❞ I asked, making sure. ❝yeah, definitely. you can never go wrong with jean jackets.❞ he told me, causing me to smile. ❝alrighty, send me the adress while I get dressed.❞ I told him, alright starting to change. ❝done, and done.❞
whilst I'm dressing, I start to think.
❝hey jae?❞ I called out to the phone on my dresser. ❝ma'am?❞ he said. ❝uh...you dont think Finn's gonna bring Millie, do you?-i mean its not like i care or anything im just...asking.❞ I asked, scared to hear his response. ❝well they are dating, so...❞ he faded off, trying to find another day to say yes.
I let out a deep breath and nodded my head. ❝yeah, yeah, that was a stupid question, i mean of course couples go to events together because they're dating and-❞ then, the sound of jaeden's voice cut me off from overthinking. ❝sage, babe?❞ he asked, in the calmest voice he could. ❝yeah?❞ I asked. ❝millie may be everyone mom and have the face of god. but, you can never forget your first love.❞ he told me.
