Always being scared of something was my fear,
Never loved losing anyone who was so much dear.
Challenges were high, dreams were high,
How vast was this big blue sky.
I never like talking to anyone,
I was shy and a timid one.
Reaching up was a difficult task,
I couldn't answer questions that were being asked.
Always lost in my own mind,
Not once asked myself that if I was feeling fine.
Stuck in the web of my fears,
Always had to hide my silent tears.
My hand is trembling while I write this poem,
My shadow falling against me, I believe it as my home.
No matter how much I try, I always feel down,
Happiness is lost, leaving me to pay a big cost.
Lost many chances that came in front of me,
Knowing that I was doing wrong, I can see.
Something bothered me and stopped me.
Those were my fears swimming in the sea of opportunity.
