Before I completely end this book, I want to give thanks to the inspirations!
The first and most obvious inspiration was Trolls! Without this movie, this fanfiction would not exist whatsoever.
The second thanks I want to give is to Moana. Yes, Moana! I never talk about this movie on my account but I absolutely loved it!! I kinda have a lowkey, quiet obsession with it. I'd never make a fanfiction. But Moana's personality and the experience she went through was a heavy inspiration for this story. You might be able to see some of Moana's traits reflected in Iris'. A young girl who just wants to go in a dangerous place her father does not allow. For Moana, it's the ocean. For Iris, it's the forest.
And then, Warriors! I talked about a few of the references I made to a few Warriors scenes. But some characters that really inspired me were Darktail, Violetpaw, Needletail, Ivypool, Blossomfall, Squirrelflight, Ashfur, Bramblestar. Thanks to all these little fictional kitties that helped me 😅
Welp, those are really all the inspirations. I know, not many.
