Hayley's Pov:
As I pull into the parking lot of the hotel, my eyes go wide. It seems to be a five star hotel, why would I expect any less? Louis and I get into the elevator and he pushes the button for the 3rd floor.
Louis knocks on the presidential suite. A moment later, we are greeted by a half dressed Harry, showing his famous cheeky smile. "You must be Hayley, Its nice to meet you love," he says engulfing me in a hug. "You too," i say awkwardly backing out from the hug, only to be pulled into five more. Apparently, Perrie and Sophia were here with the boys for the weekend. God i am not ready for this many new friends. "I love your hair its so beautiful like you!"Sophia says. "Thank you, but im nothing compared to you two," i reply. "We are ordering Chinese what would you like?" Asks Liam. We fill him in on our orders and sit in the living room. This suite was three times larger than my apartment, and this living room was twice the size of mine back home. Louis leaves to freshen up while Harry and Niall go to get the food. Zayn and Liam sit on the live seat with us girls on the sofa. "So whats going on between you and Louis?" Perrie asks me. What? I guess she knew about the Eleanor thing too. But nothing was going on between us, was it? "What, no," i cough "We just met last night, I don't think were even friends yet." "Oh come on! You two were stuck in a store alone overnight, something had to happen." Sophia says. Okay this is getting weird. "Babe stop scaring her," says Liam. "Don't worry Hayley they are just playing around." Zayn assures me. We talk about our hobbies and daily routines until Louis walks in.
Louis Pov: I took a quick shower and put on a white Killers shirt with some black jeans. I blow dry my hair and make look presentable. I want to impress Hayley, but a relationship between us would be impossible. She probably isn't ready to move on, and im still with Eleanor publicly. It sucks to know you've just turned 22, but still have orders to follow. I can't ignore the feelings I have for Hayley tho. She is strong,independent, and caring. What else could I want in a girl? I need to talk to Harry about this, he'll help me out. I walk into the living room and squish myself between Sophia and Perrie. "Spread the love girls." I say pulling them into a hug. They giggle, but Zayn shoots me a glare before bursting into laughter. Ever since the incident, Perrie and Sophia have helped me a lot. You could say they were like sisters with a motherly character. Hayley looks at my shirt and says,"you like the Killers?" "Yea, they have sick music," i reply. "Are you serious, I LOVE THEM!." She says surprising me a bit. Hayley looks like a rich girl who is studious and listens to country. If I didn't get to know her last night, my perception of her would be so different. Harry and Niall barge in with their hands full. I can smell the pungent aroma of the Chinese food as they walk over to the couches. I look over to Hayley knowing she must be really hungry. We haven't talked much after she met everyone. I reach over to grab my order as does everyone else. We start eating while Niall turns on the television. My phone buzzes showing a text from Paul.
From Paul: 'harry told me what happened, your lucky you didn't get caught by the Paps. Don't do that again' I sigh and reply with an apology before tuning into the conversation. "So Hayley, do you have a boyfriend?" Harry asks.
I choke a little on my noodles, I told him that she knows about my story, but i didn't tell him hers. But mostly im bothered at how much Harry is flirting with her. Sure she's beautiful, but he doesn't know anything about her. "No, I haven't met a nice guy after moving really" she replies. Harry smirks and says, "Thats funny, cuz I haven't found the right girl either!" I clear my throat trying to hint him to shut up, but no one except Zayn heard it. He looked at me with a 'so you like her' look. I just ignored him and continued eating. "Of course you haven't found the right girl Harry, your gay right?" Hayley says with an evil smirk. Oh I guess she getting comfortable around us now. Everyone laughs, but Harry just mumbles, "The media are getting really annoying now." We finish our lunches and plan out the day. Liam, having everything organized, says, "its 2:00 and we will go to the bowling alley, bowl from 7-9 then we can play in the arcade and stuff for however long." I thought we were going clubbing. "What about the club?" I ask. "Paul asked us to stay away from the club for today," replies Liam. "Apparently the Paparazzi are on the look today for any celebs in clubs." States zayn with a sad face. "At least we can still have drinks at the bowling alley, I called in to make sure they sell to under 21." Niall says. That boy loves beer too much. "So we have 5 hours until then, what should we do?" Sophia asks. We all look at each others faces. How are we going to kill 5 hours?
Louis pov: "Us girls could go shopping," suggests Perrie. That's a good idea, I mean I need time to buy a present for Hayley's birthday. Since she hasn't told me about it, I get the feeling she wants to spend it alone. But its too late now, I wont tell anyone else because I know the girls will make a big deal out of it. Maybe I'll just do something simple. "Nope, like we said earlier, the media is everywhere tonight and tomorrow." Says Zayn. This sucks. How to ruin a celebrity's holidays, a book written by the Paps. The only reason we're able to go bowling is because we payed the alley to make sure no one brings cameras with them. "I feel like having dessert." Says Niall. I could use something sweet too. "Who is going to go buy something, we all out of ice cream." Harry informs. We all look at Sophia and Hayley. They are the only ones who wont be bombarded by flashing cameras. "Fine, I'll drive," sighs Hayley. She seems to be fitting in really well. Im glad she is finally opening up a bit. The two girls leave, and Perrie goes to her room to call her family. This is the perfect time to talk to Harry, although Zayn kinda knows. "Harry can I talk to you?" I ask. The boys give me a confused look as Harry nods and follows me to our room. "Whats wrong?" He asks knowing I wasn't being myself.
Harry's Pov: Lou just asked me to talk privately. I noticed he was quiet while everyone was getting to know Hayley. What could he want to tell me, that he can't tell the other boys? "Harry, you know how you told me to move on from Eleanor?" "Yeah, and then you freaked out on me for calling her a whore and got stuck ina store." I reply holding in a laugh. He just glares and remains quiet. Well is he going to tell me or what? "So you know Hayley..." He begins. Ooohhh, so that's whats going on. Hayley was a nice girl, but she treats me like a younger brother. She reminds me a lot of Gemma. I start laughing realizing that Louis liked her. Why was he so hesitant to tell me? "Stop laughing Harry, its not funny," Louis states,"You know we can't be together." What does he mean by that? I give him a confused look asking for an explanation. "She just moved here, and we are always touring or in England. Besides management says I have to be with Eleanor." He says. "Well, you can talk to management about switching relationships, and if you really like her, you should at least try to maintain a long distance relationship." I tell him.
Louis Pov: We went back to the living room and find Hayley and Sophia back with ice cream. They also bought a bunch of rubbish so we can make sundaes. I think back to my conversation with Harry. I do really like her, but does she like me? I doubt she does, I mean how can she move on after an abortion? And besides she needs someone to comfort her everyday, I can't be that person evidently. I scoop heapfuls of chocolate ice cream and add on everything available. I want to talk to her, what should i say? "So whats your favorite flavor of ice cream?" I ask her. Her bowl is empty as she is trying to decide what to fill it with. "That's the problem," she says with a sad face,"I have like ten favorite flavors." "How about I make you one, and you tell me if you like it or not?" I suggest. She nods and closes her eyes. Now what should I do? I don't know what she likes. Well now I've gotten myself into trouble. I take a scoop of chocolate and add a scoop of mint chip on top. For toppings I added some crumbled KitKat and sprinkles for color. Everyone stared at me shocked. I usually dont make food, even if its just putting it together. I receive several smirks, well i guess everyone knows about my crush now. "You can try it now,"i say to Hayley. She grabs a spoon and takes a bite. Oh god I hope she likes it. Its only ice cream, but i want to impress her. She looks at me and smiles, "well chef, this is a pleasant dish, a bit too many KitKat, but overall, its delicious." I sigh relieved and laugh at her analysis. "Can you make me one?" Asks Niall.
Hayleys Pov: The sundae Louis made me was giving me a headache. I mean it tasted good, but way too sweet. I don't want to hurt his feelings tho. Louis is a really nice man, i feel bad for Eleanor for letting him go. I don't know what it is about him, but my body heats up every time I look him in the eye. I can't help but smile wide each time he talks to me. I can't like him, there just can't be an "us". But somewhere at the back of my heart, there is a glitter of hope. My heads saying no, ill be broken more, but my heart is saying he's the one who will glue me back together. I haven't had this much fun since i left New York. If it wasn't for him, i wouldn't be trying to forget my past. I haven't even known him for twenty-four hours, my hearts probably just excited to meet a cute male again. Its 3:45 and we still have over 3 hours to go. Louis and Zayn are cleaning up the mess we made from dessert, Niall and Harry are playing Grand Theft Auto while Perrie and i watch in the living room. Liam and Sophia went to their room for some alone time. Sophia is such a nice girlfriend to have around. She's just like Liam, she'll listen to anything if you need to talk. Perrie and I have been talking about our favorite apparel when I decided to switch the subject. "So have you and Zayn decided on a wedding date?"
She blushes,"Not yet, but I want it to be in the winter sometime." Zayn and Perrie are like the perfect fairytale couple, both in looks and love. "Its winter right now." I point out. I mean a wedding requires a lot of planning. "Oh god not this winter! I was thinking maybe next December." She replies. Perrie is a darling, and has a great sense of fashion. I have to go shopping with her sometime. "Enough about my boo, whats up with you and Louis?" I look at the carpet not knowing what to say. I can feel Harry and Niall faintly tuning in to our conversation with their eyes still glued to the screen. What was going on between Louis and I?
"nothing is going on between us" I confirm with Perrie. She just smiles back at me as Zayn and Louis walk into the living room. "What do you guys feel like doing?" Asks Zayn. Harry and Niall start yelling at the TV, lost inside their game. We laughed at their addiction and Perrie answered, "Lets go for a walk outside the hotel, i need some fresh air." Zayn and Perrie get off the couch, and as they leave, Perrie gives me a wink. What was that for? Louis and I were alone in the room, other than Harry and Niall, but they were in their own universe. Louis sits next to me in the spot which previously occupied Perrie. "So are you having fun?" He asks me. "Yeah, thanks for inviting me. I feel better, talking to people who actually care." I reply. I mean my roommate is great, but we don't talk much and shes always out partying. "Wait until tonight! We don't just bowl or play laser tag, we party hard!" I giggled and smiled at him. God i must have the most dorky face right now. Louis smiles back, then turns towards the boys next to us. We sit their awkwardly not knowing what to do. "Wanna go sneak up on Liam and Sophia?" I offer bouncing my eyebrows devilishly.
Louis Pov: Wow this woman keeps surprising me with her personality. "Lets do it" i reply mirroring her grin. We get of the couch and head towards their room. As we get closer we start to tiptoe. We look like little kids sneaking into the kitchen for cookies before dinner. When we reach their door we stood with our ears on the door, our faces inches apart. The first thing I hear is Sophia shout at Liam. I lean in closer to hear better. "Oh my god," Hayley whispers covering her mouth with her hands. "What?" I say backing off the door, I couldn't hear what was going on. Were they fighting? Liam didn't tell me about anything going on between them. I look at Hayley concerned. Then I realize she's trying to hide laughter. "What?!" I say again confused. She bits her lip and says, "listen." I lean into the door again to hear Liam's voice this time. "Mmm, Soph, yea right there." He moaned. I look at Hayley and we burst into silent hysterics. She gets a hold of herself and sushes me. Then i thought of a way to add more fun. I whisper to Hayley, "follow my lead." Liam's gonna kill me for this. "Oohhh Sophia Oooh, tell me who's your hero?" I say loudly and sexually enough for them to hear. Hayley catches on to my plan and says, "mmm Liam, you are, you sexy beast." I couldn't hold my laughter anymore as we both ran into the living room. Harry and Niall gave us stares as we were loosing ourselves on the couch. Hayley clutched her stomach and says,"what was I thinking? They are going to hate me." Aww thats so cute. "Don't worry they'll get over it." I assure her. She still looks at me concerned. I on the other hand can't wait until Liam comes out of that room. He cant stay in there forever.
Hayleys Pov: That was the most fun I've had in months. I feel bad for interrupting Liam and Sophia, but it was so hilarious! I wonder what they'll say when they come out. Harry and Niall were staring at us confused. "What happened?" Harry asked us. "We were just messing around." Louis says winking towards me. Harry raises his eyebrows at us and returns to the game. Don't they ever get bored of it? I sit back on the couch and think of the intimate moment Liam and Sophia were sharing. It takes me back to my first time with Tanner. His touch was so gentle against my skin as he kissed every part of me. The feeling of pure Ecstasy when we both reached our high and kissed one last time to show our love for each other. It was gone now, everything. I still don't understand what drove our love apart. We were so close and were going to have a perfect family. Whenever i look at Perrie or Sophia, i get jealous because they have someone who wants to commit. Someone to hold them close when they feel down or need to cuddle. I try to keep the tears at the edge of my eyes from falling. I look over to Louis who was watching the intense match between the two boys. Last night when he held me in his arms, i felt safe. There was a very close connection between us, i wonder if he felt it too. It was like a electric connection between us, we just understood each others pain. If we were in a different situation, maybe we would be perfect for each other. But he is in a different place everyday, surrounded by girls. I don't think he is the kind to cheat, but my heart doesn't have enough strength left to have a long distance relationship. And besides, management probably wont accept me. Louis look over at me worried. "Are you okay?" He asks, "you seem to be in deep thought." "Yeah, I'm fine." I reply giving him a small smile. He looks into my eyes trying to read what was really going on in my head. Our stare is broken when the front door opens as Zayn and Perrie return from their walk.
