Today is the the day the day she thought is the luckiest day for her family.
No ghost.
No invention.
No stress.
No school.
No hunters.
Everything seems good to her. Her brother is sleeping in his room happily. Even the time is around the noon, she thinks that she need to leave her brother all alone.
He deserves it very much. Poor boy. His sleep was lacking and his health continue to drop every each day. Her parents are doing what normal parents do.
Her mom was busy since the morning trying to improve her cooking skills.
Her father is watching news while eating breakfast that surprisingly good and did not attack him.
She hope this happiness aura that surround her family could last long. She want her parents bond with his brother. They really need this chance. That is why she leaves her house for a few hours and gone strolling around Amity park garden.
But her feelings said that this day will turn out into a trgedy. She haven't seen Sam or Tucker with Danny for a few weeks.
They did not show up in the school either. Their family are gone too. No traces of them that she could find.
Danny still the clueless boy he is. Sometimes, her heart hurts when people stated that Danny is the one to be put all the blame on. Danny is not guilty. He is a victim. Innocent.
But they did not want to jear her out. That is why she stick close to him. To protect him from all the blame that pinned onto him. To protect him from the world.
He brother is pure. Still nothing of that child heart being corrupted by the humanity. Her family wants to keep him like that. Keeping him happy from knowing what humanity have done. Keeping him away from this corrupted world.
She sat under a shady big tree. The tree is the type of tree that grows in Japan. She didn't know how it manage to grow here. Still a mystery to the Amity Park residence.
They called this Sakura tree a phantom miracle.
This tree is said to have a miracle to live here until this day with all the destructions in the Amity Park. It still healthy as ever. Even with all the blast from the fight between Danny Phantom and ghosts, it still stand tall there.
As why it called Phantom?
Before this tree grows on this land, there was a legend on where this sakura tree grew. A phantom. A living Phantom.
They said the phantom was just a child. A child with a miracle. They said phantom have grew the tree here. They said the tree means something special to him. Something he always want.
The thought it was peace he want. To leave this place. Find his peace. But no. That is not the Phantom want. That is what Danny have said to her.
This phantom miracle tree was surrounded with carvings.
The carving were symbols.
The first one. A star.
The second. A cresent moon.
The third one. A crown.
The fourth. A jewel.
The fifth. Is a flower that blooming.
No one know what it means. No one knows why phantom carved them.
No one knows what are the purpose of it.
She and her brother always play under this tree in theor childhood. Sometimes up the tree.
Her brother loves to be up in the air. He loves climbing on the sakura tree. Sometimes. This tree is his safe place. Comfort place.
She knew if he went missing and needing comfort and she is nowhere in amity residence, he is here. Sleeping up on the Phantom Miracle branch.
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.
One by one water drip dropped onto her. She look up and discovered that the sky have gone dark. It started to rain.
She ran as fast as she can to her home. She dragged her wet body all the way and finally, she arrive at the front door. She knock it.
No answers.
Knock knock.
No answers.
She frowned.
Knock knock knock knock knock.
Still no sound of footsteps or voices of any of her family members.
She turn the door knob. It open. She looks confuse. Mom always locked it. She open the door and went inside.
"Mom! Dad! I am home!" Shout her.
No answers.
'Maybe they have gone out,' thought her.
She looks for any note but nothing.
"Danny? Mom? Dad? Where are you guys?! This is not funny!" Said her.
Still. No sound bouncing on the wall. Only rain.
She walk to upstair. The space of her way to her family's room was a mess. Walls being burned. Ashes everywhere. Broken vase, cabinet and goo all over the place.
"What happen when i am gone?" Said her.
"Danny!" She call out.
She sigh. Where is he? She thought he will be in this place until evening. She went to her brother's room and knock on his door.
"Danny? Are you in there? What happen in here?" Asked her.
No answer from her brother.
She turn the knob and it lock.
Huh. This is weird. Danny never locked it in the evening. He locked it in the night.
"Danny. This is not funny. Where is mom and dad?" She said again.
No answer.
Something sticky on her feet. She look down and found blood seeping out from her brother's room.
"Danny!" Shout her in panicked.
She kick the door down and it dropped to the floor.
She gasped in horror.
Those smell.
Those eyes.
Nausea hit her. But she take it back.
"Mom! Dad!" Shout her.
Her father's body was covered with bullet holes and burns. There is bruises everywhere. Her brother's room was a mess. There is a sign of struggle here.
Her father's neck was broken. No pulse. No breath came from him. Her eyes watered.
"D-daddy?" Said her weakly.
She turned towards her mother.
She pick her mother's body and hug her tightly as she sob. But there is no movement came from her. No more soft embrace. No more loving pat. No more carresing.
Her mother's body was mangled. Arms and legs are in weird position. A bullet hole through her forehead.
"MOMMY!DADDY! NO!!" Cried her in pain. He rocked back and forth covered in her parents's blood.
They will not came back. They can't. Or ever will.
Because they are dead. Their eyes were lifeless.
She look around to find her brother. There is no sign of him. The bed is broken into two pieces. The ceiling crate nearly fall.
She felt her eyes watered. Where is he? Where did he go? Who take him away from her? Why is mom and dad lying lifeless on the ground? More importanly, why all of this situation was putting him in the blame? They said this is the justice that must be done to him. But she believe it is not. She will find him. And she will do anything to get him back into her arms.
Where is her brother?
