Melissa POV:
Well here it is, another normal, boring day. I woke up with a hangover. Tired, still feeling drunk off my ass since last night's party. Only to realize, this wasn't my room, that was so not my bed; considering how big it was. I looked beside me only to find some sort of blond haired guy, with a musceled body laying by me...in bed. Ohh, not again I thought to myself.
Nash POV:
Ughh, who the hell is clinging to me right now man! I looked beside me and saw this petite blond haired girl laying beside me.
Man, looks like I drank too much yesterday, again. I took a look at the girl by me another time before trying to shift my position to sitting. But the girl wouldn't budge so i shook her back and forth on the shoulder trying to wake her up. Looks like we have another deep sleeper over here. Ouf I hate to do this but I guess I have to. I got a bucket of water and dumped it over her head. She suddenly woke up shocked. Her jaw dropped open while she screamed "YOU JERK! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?".
"Ahh, finally you're awake!" I responded with a smirk clear on my face. I can feel the anger radiating through the room. Until she finally covered herself considering she was absolutely naked. I threw a smirk towards her, while winking and said "See you later babe".
I guess you all should know by now, Im a player and I bang absolutely anything that moves. Well, my name is Nash Lanter and I'm 18 years old. Not to sound conceited or anything but I am the most popular senior at Riverview High School. Not to mention, I've got the looks babe.
My parents often say 'Son, you're a disapointment to the family'. That's probably what caused me to become the person I am today. I have what every teenager dreams of, a big house, money, not to mention my sexy car. But somehow, THAT doesn't satisfy me.
We come from the Shadow Pack; known as the most powerful Pack. My dad is an Alpha, which means I am the next Alpha until I find my mate. But who needs a mate? I'm not ready to stick to one person yet. Hell, I'm a damn player!
People say finding your mate is the best thing that could ever happen to you, when really it isn't! The way I think of it is being tied down to one person for the rest of your life and I wasn't ready for that. Hell with that, I'll never be ready for that.
I headed down the stairs to the kitchen to get some breakfast.
"Hey man." Daniel said.
"Hey dude, long night?" Dominic asked wiggling his eyebrows and throwing me a quick smirk. But I ignored him, as usual.
"Have fun with that chick that stormed off this morning? Shit, she looked pissed man" Daniel said. "Shut up" I replied, not in the mood to start an argument with them.
Dominic and Daniel have been my best friends since childhood. I've had my best times with them, I still do. Dominic is usually the random but hilarious type. Not to mention he's the oldest, he's 19. Speaking of Daniel, he's as old as i am. Daniel is the type of guy that will always have your back no matter what. He's also one of the most popular guys in school.
Both of them also don't have any mates. Unlike me, they tend to stick with their mate if they ever find her. How ridiculous is that!
"C'mon bro" Daniel's voice interrupted me from my thoughts.
"We gotta get to school" He implied.
I shook my head in order for me to clear my thoughts and nodded at him.
Melissa's POV:
I got up, distracting myself from my boy toy that's still sleeping. I got dressed and headed out to go home. I have then just realized I spent the whole night out.
Oh shit. I mumbled. I'm screwed. Great!
I pulled up in front of my house. I tiptoed as quiet as possible, scared to wake up my evil foster parents. Not even one step into my room, the door flew open to reveal my foster dad with his arm ready to hit me.
I stood there frozen in shock trying to come up with an excuse as to why I spent the night out and finally came back this morning. Before even having the time to explain. My foster dad roared "YOU LITTLE SLUT, WHO GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO STAY OUT ALL NIGHT!? WHO DID YOU THINK WAS GOING TO MAKE ME FOOD AND CLEAN THE HOUSE?" His voice filled with anger. "I-I-Im-Im sorry" I studdered, shaking in fear, afraid of whats' ahead of me.
He finally pulled my hair and slammed me against the wall. Darkness took over me and I lost conscious.
