Tyler's POV:

When I saw the girl Sabrina called over approach us, my breath caught in my throat. Her caramel brown locks hung down her shoulders in waves, and her bright blue eyes contrasted them greatly. Her entire body was perfectly tanned, and I could see a small amount of muscle on her arms. She took in all of our appearances, and it made me wonder if she had been exposed to wolves of this high of power before. I was only at the school to see who the rogue I had let in was for myself.

Normally, wolves this high ranking had more important matters to attend to, but at the moment, this was the focal point.

"So, why do you want to stay in the pack?" A conflicted look appeared in those oh so familiar eyes, as she bit her lip, silently trying to come up with an answer. It just made her more attractive if that was possible.

"I was held hostage by rogues most of my life. I only want to live a regular life." I could see Cody perk up. He's never been the same since three of his siblings were taken. He was the most persistent on finding them, although we never did. We gave up a few years back, figuring that if they'd made it this far, they could continue. He had been looking for any information that could lead him to them, though.

"What rogues? We have been looking for the ones that hurt our pack-" His voice dwindled off once he saw the death stare I was giving him. We didn't need to share a vulnerability the pack had to a rogue whose intentions were still not known. But I did find it interesting that she had dealt with a similar situation.

Sabrina scooted over to allow Ally to sit beside her. I compared the girl sitting next to me to the rogue. Honestly, their looks couldn't compare. That was how naturally beautiful Ally was. She was also very confident in the way she held herself in public, ignoring all the comments being made behind her back. It looked like I wasn't the only one to have taken notice of her either.

My girlfriend gave a small tug on my shirt, drawing my attention to her. The caked make up on her face that I once found attractive now looked ugly, as if a clown had smeared their makeup. Her blonde hair was bleached, and looked ratty in comparison to the girl sitting next to her. Over the years, Sabrina had turned herself into a Barbie doll. Not only had her clothes become more revealing, but she also had a spray tan, tons of makeup, and blonde hair out of a box to go with it.

"Why are you staring at the new girl?" She hissed, drawing my attention back to what she was saying.

I shook my head. "Nothing."

A pout made its way onto her face. "I don't want to see it again." I nodded, but I knew I wouldn't comply to her order. I couldn't help but stare at her perfect figure as she stared off into space. She was naturally beautiful without giving much effort.

"So, Alpha, what happens if you decide I am not worthy to be in your pack?" A small smirk is sprinkled on Ally's face as she turns to face me, her eyes captivating me.

"Uhh... Oh," I had been thrown off guard. I wasn't expecting her to ask this, but she had obviously expected this reaction out of me. "Well, I'll have to see about that."

She looked down almost shyly, pushing some hair behind her ear. "So the Big Bad Alpha doesn't have a plan for his rogues? Interesting."

"Trust me, I have a plan. I'm just not sure why I should tell you."

She mumbled something under her breath, making my eyebrows furrow. "What was that?" I asked. Ally shook her head. Hiding beneath her hair, she looked up at me. "Come on Ally, you scared?"

During the entire exchange, my friends had watched silently. Sabrina was glaring hard at Ally, looking as if she wished she disappeared. Suddenly, I didn't think she was so happy about the friend she had thought.

"Okay, Alpha, you want to know what I said?" I nodded, a smirk overcoming my features. "Well, I know exactly why you should tell me."

"And that is?"

"You've been waiting for me forever, I doubt you would hurt me."

"What do you mean?" I wasn't expecting this answer. Maybe a smart comment, but why was she dragging this on so much?

"You'll see."

Could she be anymore confusing?

...

Alicia's POV:

I don't know what it was about this situation that made it highly entertaining. Maybe it was the fact that I was finally seeing everyone again and I was able to play with them a little. Maybe it was the fact that I was shocked from seeing them. Or maybe it was just my nerves getting me while I was under Sabrina's death glare. Oh well.

Cody kept shooting me suspicious looks, like he was trying to put the pieces together. Judging by the looks he was giving me, I knew he was close to catching on. I needed to tell them all before they completed the puzzle and everything made sense.

The rest of the day was nothing but a blur. Everyone's eyes remained glued on me, so much that I felt like a walking magnet. Every move I made was watched by so many eyes I don't think anyone learned everything. Maybe they just aren't used to new people. As I was packing up my things at my locker as the last bell rang dismissing everyone, I felt eyes burning holes into the back of my head. I turned around to see Ty leaned up against the lockers on the opposite side of the hall watching me intently. I felt a blush color my cheeks as I looked away.

What was that? I used to be his friend, and now I was acting like a lovesick teenager! This was outrageous! Was I crazy?

"Sometimes I think you are." Sarah has a habit of making herself known at random moments, which caused me to internally roll my eyes. Sometimes she could be so annoying.

Still, I couldn't shake the warm feeling that spread across my cheeks at the sight of Ty staring at me. But he has a mate. He wouldn't want me, not when he had her, or Sabrina. At that moment, I saw her come strutting down the hall, her hair flowing behind her. She shot a flirtatious smile in Ty's direction, thinking he was caught off guard by her beauty, not the destruction she left in her wake. Honestly, I think some people fell back from the stench of the perfume coming off of her.

"Hi Amy," she said, her face turned up into a nasty, forced smile. I held back a growl at her effort to make it seem like she didn't care about me.

"I know you know my name. Don't pretend your dumber than you already are." I could hear the hall get quieter as people tried to see what was happening.

"Oh whatever. I just wanted to let you know that you aren't welcome to sit at my table anymore, especially not after you tried hitting on my boyfriend."

"Oh, so I was hitting on your boyfriend?" I could feel Sarah clawing at my chest, desperately wanting to be let out. Despite the fact that we both wanted to claw out this girl's throat, I knew we had to be the bigger person. I wasn't going to spend my first day getting into a cat fight with the future Luna. That wasn't a first impression I wanted to make.

So instead, when she nodded her head like it was the most obvious thing in the world, I stepped back. "Okay, well thanks for letting me know then. Now I don't have to come up with some stupid excuse for why I don't want to sit with you. Bye." I walked away, stifling a laugh at her priceless face. Sabrina was so not prepared to get her stuff handed to her without drama breaking out. Behind me, I could hear her whispering to her mob of gossipers nasty things about me to try to get me back.

Sorry sweetheart, but Alicia Gray always wins.

By the time I got to the parking lot, I heard footsteps behind me. I spun around to come face to face with Ty. "Hey, I saw you back there in the hall. You and Sabrina aren't going to be the best of friends, huh?"

I laughed, my features softening. He had no clue how true that statement was. "No, I guess not. I didn't think it was going to work from the start."

He shook his head. "You sure are something. I've never seen anyone stand up to her like that since..." Suddenly his breath caught in his throat and a far off look appeared in his eye. I knew what he was thinking about. Me. Not me now, he didn't know who I actually was, but me when I lived here. I was the only one who would put Sabrina in her spot, and I guess ten years later, some things just didn't change.
