Af plebeians-

Harry jumped as he heard a loud banging sound on the doorway to his office one Friday after classes had ended for the day. He glanced at Draco, who he'd been previously preoccupied with and gulped before readjusting his robes, and stared at the door.

"You need to hide." Harry explained, running a hand through his even messier hair. They'd been in a heavy make-out session, one that had sprung as a surprise when grading parchment proved to be far too boring.

"Where? How the hell doesn't this room have a closet?" Draco asked, pacing and also attempting to make himself look presentable. Someone knocked loudly against the door again, and he stared at Harry - alarm written all over his face.

Harry, however, had an idea. He grabbed the blond by the shoulder and shoved him into a corner of the room before scurrying towards his desk and pulling a sheer-looking cloak from one of its drawers. He threw it towards the Slytherin alumnus, who caught it easily, and frowned.

"Yes, because a tall professor standing in a corner with a cloak on is totally inconspicuous." He rolled his eyes and placed the cloak over his shoulders, mouth opening in shock as his body disappeared. "You have an invisibility cloak, Potter?"

"Potter, really? Merlin Draco, just put it over your head!" Harry fretted, rushing towards the door and unlocking it, moving to open it as the blond slipped it over his head. He was surprised to find Charles Byerley, the fifth year Ravenclaw student under serious watch to be standing on the other side. "May I help you?"

"Professor, oh I thought your office was empty! Why was it locked? Anyways, I really, really need to talk to you!" The brown-haired boy rushed, and Harry eyed him carefully.

"Come in, Mr. Byerley." They walked into the room and Charles glanced at the papers strewn about on the desk questionably before taking a seat, wringing his hands together.

"Sir, I was cornered the other day. By Rita Skeeter." The student began, and Harry frowned, also taking a seat, gesturing for him to continue. "Listen, I have no idea what's going on between you and Malfoy, and I really don't care anymore. I'm sorry for spilling Veritaserum in his drink. But, that woman is terrifying, and she's out to expose the two of you."

"Why does she care so much?" Harry mumbled before leaning back and casually looked to the left, where Draco was still hidden in the corner - as far as he knew at least.

"She wanted me to report to her with any information I found out about you two." Charles said, and Harry rose his eyebrow at him.

"Have you been?"

"There's been nothing for me to tell, but she's threatened me, sir. There must be something you can do! I'm afraid I'll wake up without eyes one day if I don't listen to her." Harry began shifting through his papers, attempting to make his desk look neater, and Charles smirked. "A bit messy, aren't you?"

"Listen, Mr. Byerley. Regarding Professor Malfoy and I, it is nobody's business. You can tell Rita I said that. And if she continues to threaten you, please inform me or Malfoy, as I'm sure he'll become aware very soon. Thank you for informing me, though. For your honesty, I'll award you five points to Ravenclaw. Have a good rest of your day." The professor shooed off the student, and then leaned against the door when it was closed, sighing. Draco came out from under the cloak and held it, inspecting it with interest.

"How exactly did you ever come across such a device, Potter? It's spectacular!" The blond asked, covering his arm and watched as it disappeared from sight.

"Stop calling me Potter, Malfoy." Harry rolled his eyes, grabbing the cloak from his hands and folding it. "It was my father's."

"Don't call me Malfoy then, Harold." The blond teased, walking toward the green-eyed wizard as he put away the cloak and cleaned up his desk.

"That's not even my name!" Harry chuckled, stepping backwards until his legs hit the desk.

"Your name is what I say it is." Draco explained, a smirk on his face as he wrapped his arms around Harry's waist.

"Oh, is that so, Professor?" There was a teasing lilt to Harry's voice, and Draco wanted to kiss that stupid grin off of the Gryffindor's face. He shoved him lightly, pressing himself closer to Harry and caused the green-eyed wizard to sit down on his desk, opening his legs so the blond could stand between them as he smirked up at him knowingly.

"You think you're so cute with your stupid scar and messy hair, but you're not. You're quite ugly."

"Mm, I'm sure." Harry smirked, wrapping his arms around Draco's waist. "But yet you still like getting off with me, don't you?"

"You're a pervert, Harry Potter."

"And you're hopelessly in love with me, Draco Malfoy." Harry leaned up and pressed a kiss to the blond's jaw.

"You're dreaming if you think I'm the one in love with you, when it's so definitely the other way around." The blond spoke snidely, and Harry's eyebrow quirked.

"I can't deny that one." They kissed on the lips then, and Harry wrapped his arms around the blond's neck, pulling him on top of him, toppling over a stack of parchments and other knickknacks once more.

Draco ground his hips down onto Harry's, and the dark-haired wizard threw his head back in pleasure, exposing his neck to the blond. The grey-eyed wizard kissed hungrily at Harry's neck, biting at the place where his jaw met his neck, and down to where his collarbones revealed themselves from Harry's poorly attempt at buttoning his shirt. He gasped, clutching onto Draco's hair and bucked up, and the blond responded.

They continued this for a while until they figured supper was close to beginning, finishing each other off quickly with their teenage-esque arousal, and dressed themselves properly before parting ways to head towards the Great Hall a few moments apart.

Just as Harry went to close the door to his classroom, Draco turned to him and smirked, placing a hand on his hip.

"A total pervert." He said simply before sauntering off. Harry only shook his head, laughing and straightening his collar a bit more to completely prevent the sight of his new markings of the afternoon, and headed towards the Great Hall as well.

"What did Potter say when you went to see him?" Anthony Pembroke asked as he, Charles, and Bradley sat together at supper. Charles winced, noticing the pressuring gaze of Rita Skeeter as she sat on the opposite end of the professors' table: where the guests usually sat.

"He told me to let him know if she continues to threaten me." Charles explained, turning around to glance at the woman. "Merlin, she's still staring at me."

"Charlie, you're playing two sides!" Anthony frowned, face-palming before returning to his broccoli.

"I don't want to be playing any sides! I don't care about Potter or Malfoy, or whatever the hell is going on between them. It is their business, and everyone needs to just sod off of it!" Charles exclaimed, drawing the attention of the few students sitting near them. "You heard me!"

"But isn't it weird that they went from sworn enemies one day to sitting beside each other the next?" Bradley asked, forking a bit of potatoes into his mouth.

"I dunno, Brad. Isn't it weird that you went on a second date with Addison Edwards, who looks like she's growing a second head because of that nasty mole on her neck?" Charlie asked, raising his eyebrow at the blond. The two glanced down the table where the aforementioned brown-haired girl was drinking from her water goblet. Bradley caught her attention, and she waved.

"She's a nice girl."

"Hm, and I'm sure your children will have only one head. Now that we're done naming falsities, understand that I want no part in this. Honestly, if I didn't know how hard it was to make a career for yourself if you don't have a finished education, I'd allow myself to be expelled. I'm just done." Charles sighed, pushing away his plate as he lost all interest in the meal. He glanced sadly at the professors' table, where Harry Potter sat, laughing at something Hagrid must've said, with Draco Malfoy munching on a bit of treacle tart beside him, smiling at the green-eyed wizard.

"Charlie, don't talk like that. We want what's best for you too. We're sorry for prying." Bradley sighed, also pushing away his plate.

"Well, I'm not sorry! This is a serious matter, boys. We need to know what's happening, Charlie, and you're obviously the inside-man in all of this. So, get inside."

"I will not be a spy, Anthony. I refuse it." The brown-haired boy shook his head, a deeper frown etching onto his face.

"You'll do as I tell you, or we're not friends anymore." Anthony crossed his arms over his chest, staring pointedly at his fellow classmate.

"I'm not your bitch!" Charlie exclaimed, and sure, maybe he was being a bit dramatic, but he didn't care. He stood up and stormed out of the Great Hall, not caring about the various students who stared after him, and made his way for the Ravenclaw dormitories. He also didn't pay attention to the second shadow following behind him.
