Dev got up from his sleep, he twisted & turned in his bed. His hand came out of the blanket & searched for his phone on his bed side table. He found it & looked at the time... It was 12:08 am ... It had hardly been an hour that he could sleep without his medicines. He slided his thumb across his phone's screen to unlock it. The home screen got unlocked & he smiled after looking at the wallpaper ...
It was a picture of his & Sona walking normally near Dev's mansion but naughty Nikki had clicked their picture & forwarded it to Dev along with a caption
"My khadoos Bhaiya with my super cool Bhabhi ... Happy DevAkshi"
She did receive a good amount of scolding from Dev but he couldn't delete the picture. He made it his phone's home screen wallpaper but didn't forget to add a lock on his phone which opened only after his touch ...
He thought of taking the medicines but then decided against it. He could not break Sona's trust.
"What should I do now??? Neend to aayegi nahi ... Kitchen me jaa ke dekhta hu kuch khane ko hai ya nahi" he thought
He came down the stairs & went into the kitchen to look for ice cream in the fridge but there was nothing except some boring green veggies & packets of milk ...
"Uff jab ye Sonakshi ... Sona se Dr. Bose banti hai tab bahut irritate karti hai"
Dev took his car keys & drove out of his home...

Dev was standing on the road blankly staring it. He was looking for an ice cream vendor but none was found ...
"I guess all the luck was with Saif & Preeti in Salam Namaste to find an ice cream 'paune barah baje' " He thought to himself "But what's going on there?"
He moved forward & saw a man standing near a small shop & buying water bottles but inside his car someone was laying down on the backside, a shawl covering the face. He peeped into the car only to realise that it was a girl. Dev had always been against crime against women & thought it as his moral responsibility to safeguard anyone caught in an unpleasant situation. He walked up to the man & punched him hard. The intensity was enough to shake his jaw but only blood came out of his mouth. The shopkeeper intervened but when he found the matter both of them started hitting the accused.
The girl got up & saw that the driver was being beaten black & blue. She quickly came out but the car was locked. She started banging the car's Windows grabbing Dev's attention. He turned around only to find Sonakshi as the girl who was being apparently kidnapped. He left the driver at the mercy of the shopkeeper & snatched the keys from the driver. He ran towards Sona & pulled her out of the car. His fear of what could have happened to her overpowered his conscience & he began kissing her forehead while holding her close & protected near his heart, in his chest. He kept caressing her hair until Sona stopped him
"Wha...What are you doing?" She was clearly starled by his unusual affection.
Dev realised that he had gone over the board.
"Umm... ummm..." He was stumbling
"Dev" Sona said to break his discomfort "What are you doing with my driver?"
"Your dri..driver?"
"Yes"
"You weren't kidnapped?"
"No"
The shopkeeper heard this & said, "Kya sahab aap bhi ... aav dekha naa tav. .. bas toot pade bechare par"
Dev went & picked up the driver. He apologised & gave him some money. He told him that he'll drop Sonakshi. Sona pleaded the driver not to let the matter reach anyone else's ears.
Dev opened the door of his car & asked her to sit. After closing the door of his car he gently moved towards the driver's seat mentally accusing himself for his impulsive 'herogiri'... He went on driving still occupied in his thoughts, he didn't realise where he was going to.
"Dev" Sona spoke up finally "Where are we going?"
"To your house" He replied
" And where do I live?" She asked by raising her eyebrows.
He realised that although Sonakshi had been working for him since a month he didn't knew where she lived.
"Take left from the next roundabout"
Her instructions broke his chain of thoughts.
After taking a few more turns they reached a small house. It had an old world charm. Painted in yellow & white the house had an extremely huge garden. In the night it stood in a majestic way. Its simplicity marking its splendor.Dev sat in the car while Sona got down
A boy of about 6 years jumped out of the house shouting, "Didi ... didi"
Sonakshi looked at him lovingly & held him in her arms.
"Soya nahi Golu"
"Mai to aapka wait kar raha tha... mujhe aapne ice-cream khilane ka promise kia the na ... " he said in his cute kiddish voice.
"Hmm. .. bola to tha but aaj Didi car lekar nahi aayi na"
"Yeh to rahi car par driver doosra hai"
Golu ran towards the car & started addressing Dev, "Driver uncle ... driver uncle aap ka name kya hai?"
"DD" Dev replied with a smile
"DD? Yeh kaisa naam hai?" Golu asked with a quizzical look
"DD ka full form hota hai Despo Dixit"Sona shouted from behind.
Listening to her comment Dev blushed for the first time in his life. Sona came closer to the car & asked him "Kyu Despo Dixit ghumane le jaaoge?"
"Jii madam" Dev replied with his hands joined. "Aur koi hukum?"
"Mere saath koi aisi waisi harkat karne ki sochi na to ..."
"Pata hai tum black belt ho"
"Wo to Mai hu but ye jo mera chota bodyguard hai na Golu ye tumhe nahi chodega"
Golu laughed while listening to their conversation.
Sona & Golu got into the car & they started searching for ice cream on the roads of Goa at 1:00 am ... Dev switched on the radio & tuned into Radio Rang 97.9
"Waah waah Driver Dixit Songs & all ha? Ye parivartan kaise?" Sona asked
"Wo 9-11 ek show aata hai ispe... aaj hi suna ... kya naam tha uska?"
"Raat ke humsafar!!!" Golu screamed "Dekha didi aapka show kitna hit hai"
"Sona ka show??" Dev asked
"What he means is..." Sona tried to explain "Mera favorite show hai ... jo bhi mera favorite hota hai uske aage Golu aapka laga deta hai"
Dev still didn't look conviced.So Sona started giving examples
"Jaise aapka Tv, aapki car, aapka show, aapki job, aapki aunty ji, aapki Nikki, aapka Dev" Sona bit her lower lip at the last mention while Dev had a hearty laugh after which he said
"Are you hitting on me?"
"No"
"Don't even try Mai black belt hu"
"Hello ... Black color ki belt pehne se koi black belt nahi banta"
Dev just shook his head & smiled. They finally found an ice cream vendor & got down to have an ice cream.
After the ice cream treat Dev dropped his partners in crime for that night. A couple came out of the house. He looked at them for a while. Golu called the two Mom & Dad but they were in their early 30s... Sona addressed them as Karan & Krystle
As Dev was driving back home some questions started running across his mind
Why was Sona going home so late? Her work hours got over at 8pm... Is she doing a part time job? She has her own car & a private driver ... Why was she working under him if she was so rich? Maybe for her passion ... She doesn't look like someone going through a financial crisis

Elena was pacing up & down outside her home. Sona had not returned yet.
Sourabh also joined her. Both were looking equally stressed. Just then a white merecedes stopped near the main gate. RJ Sonali got down thanking the man at the driving seat.As she crossed the length of the garden Elena & Sourabh ran towards her & took her into a bone crushing group hug
"Where were you?" A concerned Sourabh asked her
"Nothing serious Dada" Sona replied "Just some small problem happened on the way... Let's get inside I'm hungry"
Sona dragged them inside the big white mansion.
