ZOE POV.
Waking up with a yawn I sat up, except a heavy arm kept me from doing so.
Noah laid on my side snoring softly.
Last night wasn't so good, that bitch had to ruin my mood.
We decided to come back home and some people from the pack helped make a perfect dinner for the twins, Noah, and me.
We ate inside next to a big window that let you see the stars outside.
"Noah" I groaned wiggling out of his hold.
"Stop! Please dont hurt them!" He murmured.
I turned to face him confused and saw tears streaming down his face.
I lightly kissed his lips and he shot up gasping for air.
Sweat trailed down his forehead and I quickly sat in front of him.
I placed my hand over his and stared into his terrified eyes.
Something's wrong.
"What happened?" I asked.
He shook his head ignoring my question.
"Noah.. I know you don't wanna open up to me its okay though, I understand, just know I'm always here if you wanna talk... I can wait till your ready to open up" I explained.
He smiled softly and kissed my forehead.
"Thank you. Um... Imma shower" he said getting off the bed and heading into the
Bathroom.
A frown spread across my mouth.
Standing up I was about to get my clothes ready so I can shower after Noah, but a ringing phone stopped me.
What the hell? Is that Noah's phone?
I followed the noise and found his phone inside a fake book that had an opening in the middle, like secret safe.
I answered the unknown call and placed it against my ear.
"Noah baby. Guess who's this- that's right its katrina remember me? Your long loved mate. The one who YOU!!rejected" a girly squeaky angry, evil voice said.
Gulping I ended the call as tears filled my eyes.
Noah had a first mate.
My wolf whimpered.
Why is she calling now? And why'd Noah reject her?
I put his phone back quickly and entered the bathroom to brush my teeth.
"Zoe ,baby,hand me a towel please" Noah spoke up.
The word baby rang in my head, just like Katrina said.
"H-here you go" I stuttered.
Shit why'd I stutter!! He opened the bathroom walk in door and stuck his hand out.
Once I gave it to him he walked out wrapped around his waist.
"Good morning" I smiled and started brushing my teeth.
He repeated my words and brushed Hus teeth to.
I don't know if I should tell him about that call.

A few hours went by lunch went me still in silence.
Noah noticed so I had to act as if I was happy.
Katrina's words never came off my mind, questions swirrled my mind but I knew I had to wait till Noah himself opened up to me.
"Mom! C'mon your not moving she'll find you" Allison whisper yelled.
My eyes went wide.
"Who?!" I asked worried.
"Addison! Were in the middle of a serious hide-and-seek game" she hissed.
I sighed in relief and laid on the floor trying to camafloge the flowers.
A few minutes later I heard Addison running towards us.
"I caught you!" She squealed.
Me and Allison groaned and stood up.
"Aww man! This was such a good hiding spot" Allison whined.
They both ran and looked for the rest of the little kids hiding.
I chuckled and walked inside the pack house smiling at a girl walking bye.
She smiled back and as soon as I turned a corner Noah's scent hit my nostrils it mixed with another girls scent.
Confusion built in me and I walked faster to his office.
I was about to open the doors but I heard a women's voice inside.
"I'm back now. I can still be with you. We can be happy again" she said.
"No Katrina. You were the only happy one here. You fucking abused us! You hurt me and not physically but emotionally to. The twins hate you! They will never love you!" Noah hissed anger dripping off every word.
He sounded scared to.
It worried me and my wolf.
"I AM YOUR TRUE MATE! I BROUGHT BACK THAT BITCHES MOTHER FROM THE DEAD SO SHE CAN KILL HER!" Katrina yelled.
I slammed the door open angry.
"Well guess what bitch! I'm alive and much stronger" I growled.
