Edd sighed as Tord's hand left his grasp.
Edd wondered if Tord had saw it too...
The color.
Or, was he just too much in his own world to notice it?
How Edd yearned to see all the colors again, and to be able to see them all with Tord. It also didn't help that he loved art. He wished so badly Tord would for once notice.....but for all he knew Tord did notice but ignored it.
But who would ignore their soulmate?
The one who you were meant for.
The one who'd complete you.
The one who'd bring you back together after you fell apart.
Or maybe perhaps Tord wasn't ready for such a thing?
Most people were lucky if they'd found them.
You'd be lucky if you even had one that spoke your language.
But here Edd was, he had found his at such a young age, and not once has had Tord showed the slightest interest.
Many thoughts bombarded Edd's head as Tord snapped in his face.
"Hello? Earth to Cola Boy?"
Edd blinked for a moment, "Oh, yeah?"
" I was wondering if you'd like to go to a movie with me. Since, Tom has declined the offer. "
Tom?
When had they'd ever done anything together?
Tord couldn't like him, right?
Tord was meant for him, and he was meant for Tord.
No one else.
Edd hesitated, "Y-Yeah sure!"
" Great! " Tord smiled, "It starts at 1700. See you then."
And with that Tord walked away with nothing more said.
It was starting to get to Edd.
They showed all the signs of being soulmates.
Seeing colors when touching,having the same injuries, if one wrote on their arm it'd appear on the other's, right down to being sick at the same time.
Why hadn't he noticed?
Maybe he should say something?
No.
That'd be stupid.
It could change everything between them!
It...wouldn't be the same.
But, Edd still had the slightest of hopes that it'd change for the better, and they could be together.
Such a dream, right?
Edd went down to his room, simply brushing his hair down a bit.
It was just a movie.
He didn't have to dress up...right?
Or, was Tord expecting better?
Did Tord want someone better?
Edd groaned, slapping himself a bit.
He needed to stop thinking about him.
How his caramel brown hair looked in the sunlight.
How his tan skin fitted him well.
How his sliver eyes were enough to make Edd's heart melt.
How well his red hoodie accompanied his body.
How perfect Tord truly was to Edd.
"Edd, are you ready?"
Tord's thick accent cut through Edd's thoughts once more.
"Yup! Coming!"
Edd stuffed his lucky can in his hoodie pocket, running down the stairs.
Tord smiled at him as Edd felt himself melt.
He'd surely fell hard for the norsk.

Edd was pretty much surprised.
Instead of Tord picking his usual horror movie, he'd actually picked a romance movie.
A fucking romance movie that he was going to bring Tom to.
Tord and Edd walked into the theater, finding their way to their seats.
As the movie started up Edd sighed.
He wondered how the movie would look like with color.
He wondered what the dark lighting of the theater made the colors of Tord change.
He wondered what other great colors there were to see.
Edd nervously glanced down at Tord's hand.
Of course, Tord and him had touched hands before, but never for long.
Just brief seconds they'd accidentally brush up against one another, or moment's they'd wrestle for the television remote.
Edd, not so smoothly, reached down and placed his hand against Tord's as colors filled his vision.
Although, Tord flinched. He quickly brought his hand up, looking down at it and then to Edd's.
"....Did you see that?"
Edd's heart quickly filled with hope as it started to beat faster.
Had he finally noticed?
Had he put together the pieces?
Had he finally known they were meant to be?
"...The color?" Edd replied, looking away for a moment.
Tord let out a sigh of relief.
"Oh thank God."
Edd turned to him, giving him a confused look.
"W-what?"
" ...I thought you never saw it. "
"So you were just ignoring it!" Edd blurted out, then quickly covering his mouth.
Tord put his arms up in defense, "Hey! You did the same thing!"
"...Toché."
Tord laughed a bit, sliding his hand back into Edd's.
Edd smiled bigger than he ever had before.
It happened.
His dream had came true.
Tord had noticed....but he still wanted more.
