Last time on SGBDABN: "So here's the plan, we take them down and no kill shots unless absolutely necessary" I said facing them all
"Okay let's go" I said and that's the last thing I heard before I entered a gun fight.
Dear Journal,
As we walked out of the car shots were fired. We dove next to the car for cover. I grimaced as a squatted down feeling my stitches struggling to stay open. I slowed my breathing trying to ignore the excruciating pain radiating form my side.
The shooting went on for about fifteen minutes and I wondered how the police hadn't shown up yet. The other side began to run out of ammo person by person, until there was two.
I crept closer to them,
"Our inside contact won't be happy if we fail this task," I heard one of them say.
"Yeah but I rather make it out alive" someone yelled.
Suddenly the other side stopped firing and they all filed into their cars. We tried to fire some more shots at the cars but they were useless they had escaped. I sighed as I stood up and climbed in the car.
"Oh, my god Thea you're bleeding" Chloe said and sure enough when I looked down my shirt it is stained with dark red. I wondered how I didn't feel it.
"My stitches must have ripped open" I said lifting my shirt "Do you have a needle and thread" I asked
"Yeah why" Chloe said digging on the backseat floor
"I'm going to redo my stitches" I said in a duh tone.
"What why we could just take you back and get them professionally done" Sean said from beside me
"Because......." I said looking around "I only told the agency that we were coming and I heard the masked men talking said they have someone on the inside and they must be very high up in our chain of command if they got the message I was coming, so we can't trust anyone else " I said and we all look at each other.
"Okay, no one else is going to be in our circle of trust" Jax says in a serious tone as he starts the car back up. The rest of the car ride to the agency it was silent, everyone was too deep in thought to try to make conversation.
After a few moments, more of silence I couldn't take it anymore. The silence was like glass.
"The wheels on the bus go around and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go around and round all through the town" I sang quietly
"The people on the bus go up and down, up and down, up and down" Jax sang to I joined in with him "The people on the bus go up and down all through the town" we both yelled
Soon enough everyone was singing and everyone was laughing. I finally felt happy after all this messed up shit I've been going through. For the rest of the ride we sang a lot of different songs and I remembered why I loved them all so much.
When we got to the gates I pulled down the window and let the machine scan my face.
"Are you sure we'll be fine" James whispered
"I hope" I mumble as I lean back into my seat
As we pull out I was tackled into two pairs of arms and I felt my stitches rip again. I hissed into their hair and I feel the blood spilling out.
"Ally, Freddy get off me, you're hurting me" I mumbled, they both quickly scrambled off me and gasped when they see the blood staining my shirt. Wow went through two shorts already with blood on them. I wish I could say that was a record.
"Oh, shit sorry" Freddy said as he lifted my shirt to see the thread pulled out. He dug around in his back pocket and pulled out a pen he aimed at my stomach. I felt heat surround my body and for a moment I couldn't move. Then as quickly as I felt the warmth it was gone. I looked down and my cut was healed, there wasn't even a scar.
The only trace that I had ever been hurt was the blood on my shirt.
"Wow how did you do that" I heard James said
Both my friend's heads snapped to my other friends behind me like they're just noticing my other friends.
"Who are you" Ally said narrowing her eyes on them.
"Well Freddy, Ally meet James, Chloe, Jax, and um Sean" I said awkwardly pointing to each one of them. I noticed Freddy's fist ball up at the mention of Sean.
"Thea, may we speak to you in private" Ally said through clenched teeth
"Okay" I as then turned to Sean I gave him a quick peck on the cheek and joined Ally and Freddy.
"How are you people still alive" Freddy said harshly
"Freddy that's rude what he means is that, after the failed attempt at the prom we were all assembled, and we were told that you were killed" Ally explained
"I was almost killed but them the gang abducted me and healed me but tried torturing me into telling where the base is. Then my friends over there saved me and helped me now I'm here" I said leaving out the part about me suspecting the traitor because as much as they were like my family, they were both at the level of clearance to get the information to know I was coming.
"That doesn't make any sense they said that they recovered a body. We had a funeral and everything" Ally said her brows creasing.
"I don't know what unlucky person is in the grave but I'm not dead... so surprise I'm not dead" I said trying to crack a joke.
"Okay then let's go to the director" Ally said
"Wait a second what are we going to do with them" Freddy said looking over to my friends who have all pulled out their phones.
"Well they saved my life so maybe I could convince dad to let them become agents " I said walking to them. I could practically see the shocked faces they had even though my back was turned to them.
"So, guys we're going to go see the director" I said and they all look at me
"Why" Jax said
"Well you obviously can't go back to your gang so I was wondering if you guys wanted to become agents" I said quickly.
"Oh no, we cannot become agent" Chloe said her eyes widening
"Yes, you can now come on no arguments" I said hoping that they will just agree. Sean snaked his arm around my hip and pulled me closer to him. "Stop I have to look professional here, I'm a hero" I said laughing as he tries to give me kiss and I swatted him away.
"Well then good thing you're not really a professional" he said when he finally met my lips. I pulled back feeling slightly embarrassed.
"Seriously Sean this is where I work I want......" I was cut off by someone scooping me up in their arms and showered in light airy kisses. I couldn't help my laugh escaping me they were getting all the spots I was ticklish in.
"Stop" I managed to say through my laughs. They let me down gently and pressed me into a passionate kiss, I couldn't help thinking about Sean no matter how good the kiss was and pushed them back. I came face to face with my ex-lover, Ethan Ferber.
"Ethan, I have to talk to you" I said awkwardly. The last time I was with Ethan we were both sex- crazed lovers who thought they were in love. Everything changed when I went back though, I realized that Sean was meant for me. But as far as Ethan knew we were still both crazy about each other.
"I know I missed you so much. I can't wait to give you my welcome home gift" he said wiggling his eye brows.
"I'll go first. So, after I left I had met Sean the person that was holding me back. So, after we made up and talked things out I realized that I wanted to be with him no matter what. So now that I'm back and he's here I can't be with you any more" I explained
"Thank god" he sighed
"Wow I didn't know our relationship was that bad" I said slightly hurt
"No, no not that I didn't like our relationship, but I also found someone" he said blushing madly
"Coo tell me who" I said jumping a little
"Well....um.... I might be you know casually dating Ally" he blurted out and I felt my eyes get large.
"What?!" I almost yelled causing a few people to dart their eyes at me, which I ignored.
"Keep it down we're going to keep it on the down low" he whispered.
"Okay but I'm going to talk about it later with her" I said and turn on my heel heading back towards the group. Everyone was talking except Sean he was just staring at Ethan with such hatred. I didn't think a person could have such a venomous stare.
I placed my arm gently on his arm and he looked down at me. His eyes the darkest I had ever seen them, I was taken back a little. His face was like stone and his fists were clenched.
"There is nothing to be jealous of. Me and him are just friends" I tried assure him
"Sure, because all friends pick their other friend up and make out with them" he muttered sarcastically
"I'll explain once we get to the dorms" I said because next we were just out the director's office.
I opened the door and he glanced up. His face paled and he looked like he had seen a ghost, he even jumped a little. I was confused because I had told him myself that I was coming. He recovered though and straightened his suit.
"Agent Thea who are these people with you" he said looking at Chloe, Jax, James, and Sean.
"These are the people that were in the gang then they saved me" I explained, and I see his hands slowly inch to the gun he kept hidden on his desk.
"Wait don't pull a gun, they saved my life and they really don't want the criminal life anymore" I said hurriedly
"What do you propose we do" he said a bit aggravated and I rolled my eyes.
"What if we let them become agents, I mean they already have real world knowledge, so they wouldn't need the schooling so all they would need is some training" I explained, and I can't practically see the thought bubbles forming in his mind.
"Fine but they have to enroll your class" he said and waves his hand dismissively. We all scurried out of the room. We were all silent the way in the dorm, I couldn't help feeling guilty thinking about Sean being mad at me. I wasn't sure how I could convince him that Ethan and I were over.
"So, Ally, Freddy and I already have rooms and there are only 4 rooms. So, me and Sean must room together and Chloe and Jax can share the spare. So, James has to sleep on the couch" I explained
"Okay I'm going to head in, I'm exhausted" Ally yawned
"Everyone should get some sleep we had a long day" James said heading to the living room
"I don't feel like going in just yet, I'm going to grab some hot chocolate. But not before I pull on one if my comfy sweaters" I said dragging my feet to my room.
I pulled out Sean's ginormous sweater that reached my knees. Then I took out some shorts and pulled my hair into a messy bun. I felt like one of those pretty tumbler girls except without the pretty. When I got to the kitchen I made the hot chocolate and headed back for my room.
When I peaked in I saw Sean laying on the bed, his arms were behind his head and his legs were crossed. He was just staring at the ceiling clearly deep in thought. I sighed knowing that jealousy was coursing through his veins. I sighed and set down my cup on the table. I climbed on the bed and onto the arm he had out on the bed and snuggling onto his body.
"Penny for your thoughts" I say turning my face to look at him
"Don't say that it makes you sound old" he says still not looking at me
"I am older than you by like a month" I said sitting on the bed.
"Thought it was like eight months" he said
"Remember uncover" I said sipping my drink
"Oh don't tell Jax your older though he'll constantly say I'm dating a cougar" Sean chuckled but he didn't quite sound happy.
"Seriously I know you want to know what you're thinking, at least ask me something"
"I don't have anything to ask, it's just that I got so jealous when I saw you with Ethan and all I wanted was to rip his lips off as he kissed you and chop his arms his off while he was holding you, but slowly so he could really feel it" he said with so much hatred
"Sean apart from your slightly creepy murderer thoughts, you have nothing to worry about. The only reason he was so intimate was because when I saw him the last time we were a couple. At the time I was heartbroken and I couldn't stand to be alone so I thought that I had feelings for him, but then we made up and I realized that I love you and I couldn't imagine myself with any other person to ever live" I said with a smile and instantly Sean's eyes lit up and he brought his lips down onto mine.
"I haven't figured out how to be in love with you without finding everything you do incredibly attractive and wanting to kiss you" he said kissing me again
He kissed me with so much passion and lust that I almost couldn't match it. Key word being almost. I swung my legs, so I was straddling him and ran my hands through his silky hair then I pushed him closer to me. We both leaned back so I was on top of Sean.
I wanted him to feel how much I regret my time with Ethan. I trailed kisses down his next and then back up to his mouth. I ran my hand up his shirt, so I could feel every muscle on his back I felt the scars that rose from his skin.
"I'm going to win this" I laughed next thing I know he flipped me over, so he was on top. He trailed light kisses down my neck and collarbone. Then his hands began to wander everywhere. His hands ]did wonders and made the skin he touched ignite.
"Princess don't make a bet you can't win" he whispers, and I shudder at his hot breath against my skin. One thing happened after another and the next thing I knew Sean and I only had our undies on.
"Thea I'm conflicted here on one hand I want to keep going and stay in here until we can't move anymore but on the other I want our first time together to be different" he said and I could see the thoughts going through his head.
"We have to stop you're special to me and I don't want to ruin the moment" he said finally getting off me, I missed the warmth his body had been bringing me.
I sighed knowing that he was right.
After 30 minutes since we both had to take showers to 'calm' ourselves. Then we both snuggled into each other, I slept tight knowing everything was going to be okay.
