In 2016 my soul died. Not able to believe what was in front of my eyes. Not able to comprehend the terror. Not able to imagine the future. This country, the land of the free, where we have a right to protest. The flag we love is whats tied onto our mouths. As if to silence us. A new year and a fresh start is what we need.
