She started driving at 16
And at 7 am
She drives with flowers bursting out her hair and spring blooming on her smile
At 3pm
She drives with childhood memories and laughter and sometimes cries
At 10pm
She drives with bitter memories and regrets of the of the roads she did not took and decisions she did not make
And at 2 am when her body is tired and her mind is filled
She goes on her motorcycle and drives
With empty roads and a buzzing mind
She drives.
Faster
And faster
And faster
Until adrenaline fills her mind and everything just seems alright.
She screamed her lungs out, the felt liberty and stripped from everything
Like she was given another blank sheet of paper to rewrite her story
And like she stood a chance again in this world
But at 7 am again, the girl with spring that once bloomed on her smile
Has now wilted as she was winter cold
And tonight the girl with flowers once bursting out on her hair
Is buried with roses, away from her query
She was back to where the flowers had bloomed.
And it was quiet and peaceful
Like how she was before.
