Maya's P.O.V
"We can't keep doing this Shawn"
"I know that Katy.I'm trying to work extra shifts at work,it'll give us some help"
"Ya well I work til night everyday and it's not enough to keep us going"
Is what I hear before I walk into the kitchen.
They both see me and say good morning and smile like nothing happened.
"What's going on?"
"Nothing,you should be heading to school now Maya"
"I know that,but can I please know what's happening here?"
My mom sighs and sits in front of me.
"We're getting kicked out"
"Why what happened"
"Nothing,it's just we haven't payed rent and we're trying,we really are.It's just not enough"Shawn says.
"Oh"my voice cracks.
"Hey,hey it's ok baby girl.I promise it'll be ok.We're going to stay here ok.Just don't think about it,I promise it'll be fine"
I give her a nod and my mom kisses me on the cheek.
"Have a good day kiddo"
I walk out the door and blink my tears away.

"Maya?...Maya...Maya!"I hear.
I snap out of my thoughts and look at Mr.Matthews.
"Oh...sorry"
"Maya were you paying attention?"
"No"
The whole class laughs and he rolls his eyes.
"Well pay attention and stop thinking about whatever is in your head.This lesson is way more important"
"Ya,more important than losing my home"I sarcastically say in my head.
The bell then rings and everyone leaves.
"Next time pay attention Maya"
"I know,I get it"
I walk to the cafeteria and I notice my friends already sitting down and talking to each other.
I get my lunch and sit away from them.
They don't even seem to notice.
"Looks like you lost the friends you don't deserve"
Missy Bradford and her stupid group says before going to their table.
I'm so tired of this.
First I might lose my home,and everyday my friends barely notice me and Missy and her group always gangs up on me.
"Hey,why aren't you sitting with us?"I hear a voice say.
I look up and see Lucas across from me.
"I just feel like I need to be alone for now"
"Why what's wrong?"
"Nothing,just tired"
"Well you can always talk to me Maya"
"I know that"
"You haven't been acting like yourself this whole day.I'm worried about you"
"Don't be,I'm fine"
He smiles at me and holds my hand from across the table.
"Well I know you want to be alone,but can I stay and sit with my beautiful girlfriend?"
"I'd like that"
He sits beside me and kisses me on the head.
I lay my head on his shoulder.
"I love you so much huckleberry"
"I love you too"
"I'm so sorry"I whisper.
I truly am sorry.I'm gonna leave him....for a long time.

Finally the final bell rings and I walk to my locker and see something that's straight up from a nightmare.
Missy and Lucas kissing.
Tears form in my eyes and I turn around and see Riley,Farkle,and Zay behind me.
"Maya...umm...you weren't supposed to see this"Riley says.
Missy and Lucas pull away and his eyes get wide while Missy is just smirking.
"Maya it's not what it looks like"
He tries to walk up to me but I step back.
"You guys knew about this?"I ask my supposed to be friends.
"He was gonna tell you Maya"Zay says.
"How long has this been happening?"
"A month Maya.I'm so sorry but I just can't keep this from you anymore.They've been going out behind your back for a month"Riley blurts out.
"A month?!"
You can hear the crack in my voice as I shout.
"Peaches you're my best friend I can't believe I kept that from you"
"No Riley.None of you are my friends.You never were;and Lucas,you never did love me did you?"
"Maya don't say that.Of course I love you"
"No you don't.If you did you wouldn't be doing this"
"Maya just give him a chance"
"Farkle be quiet! All of you just please be quiet.I can't deal with it anymore!"
"Aw,is Maya not as tough she says she is"Missy says.
I run out the school crying.
"Maya please!"
I run faster,faster than I thought I can
I look behind me and see him just standing there.Not even trying
Once I get home,no one else is there.
I cry on my bed that my pillows get wet.
I open my makeup bag,and take out the blade I was hiding in there.
I go into the washroom and turn on the water in the tub.
I look at myself in the mirror and then look at the blade.
It will finally stop.
The pain will go away and disappear.
No one needs me anyway.
The water is still running and I get in with my clothes still on.
I breathe in and out and in and out.
Then I take my right arm and put the blade deep in my left arm.
I shout as I feel the pain pass through my body.
I cut straight down and blood rushes out.
I do the same to my other arm and scream from the pain again.
My hands are shaking and I try to breathe to stay calm as I lean back.
I look around and control my breathing.
Then after a few minutes,everything is black,and I feel myself taking my last....breath.
Katy's P.O.V
Shawn and I enter the house and I shout Maya's name to see if she's home.
"Maya!"
I get outside the bathroom door upstairs and see water coming out from inside.
"Oh Maya what are you doing.There's water all over the floor and-"
I open the door and see my daughter in a full tub with blood,unconscious.
"Oh"
I go up to her trying not to slip.
I kneel down and put her head in my arms
"Oh it's ok.You're ok"
"Shawn!,Shawn!"
"It's ok Maya,you're fine"
Shawn enters and cries at the scene.
"Oh god! Maya!"
He touches my shoulder and I keep saying it's ok.
"She's fine,don't touch me.Call the ambulance! Go!"
He rushes out and I just cry while I hold my only daughter.
"You'll be fine Maya"
After a few minutes the paramedics get there and take her away.
Shawn and I rush to the car and follow them behind.
I have my phone in my hands and decide to call Topanga.
"Hello?"I say with a shaky voice.
"Katy? What's wrong"
"Topanga..Maya is getting rushed to the hospital.Please come soon"I end up crying more and end the call.
Topanga's P.O.V
"Oh no,Riley! Riley!"
"Yeah mom!"
"Lets go!"
"Where?"
"The hospital.Maya's getting rushed there!"
Riley runs out and so does Cory and Auggie.We get out as fast as we can and Cory tries to drive fast,going over the speed limit.
Riley's P.O.V
I'm in the backseat shaking and crying.
"He-hello?"
"Riley,what happened"
"Lucas,Maya's getting rushed to the hospital.I-I don't know what happened"
"Ok,it's ok.I'll be there soon.Let Farkle and Zay know"
He ends the call and I text Farkle and Zay as I feel like I don't have the strength to talk anymore.
Thy both reply that they're on their way and right after I turn off my phone,I start sobbing.Auggie hugs me and tries to make me feel better even though he's crying too.
Hospital
Lucas' P.O.V
"Where is she?!"I shout as I run in.
I see Riley and her family and Shawn and Katy all sobbing on the chairs.
"What-what happened?"
All of a sudden Zay and Farkle come out with their heads down.
"I think it's your turn to say goodbye Lucas"
"Goodbye?! What are you talking about.Maya's not dead.I know she's not! Now stop lying to me!"
Everyone around me looks at me like I'm insane.
"Second room on your left"is all Katy says.
I run to the room and see Maya on the bed.She looks paler than ever and her lips look blue and cold.
"No"I say with a shaky voice as tears go down my face.
My hand reaches out and touches her cold cheek.
"Maya" I breath out
"Maya,please forgive me.I'm sorry;I'm sorry and I love you and I'll do anything just please wake up"
I take a breath in and out as I get more shaky as my crying is turning into sobs.
"I'm sorry! Please come back Maya! You need to come back please!"
I fall on my knees and my hand on her cheek slides down and holds her hand.
"Please come back"
And from this day on I knew that I'm never going to love another woman as much as I loved Maya.
My guilt will forever haunt me.
