It was dead silent, team 7 was being sneaky trying to get their target.. the seriousness could be felt in the air..
"What's the distance to the target?" kakashi whispered into the communication device.
"Five meters, I'm ready anytime" sasuke whispered just as quiet
"So am I" naruto followed
"Wait! targets moving I repeat target is moving" sakura said but it was too late
sasuke and naruto already charged ahead while the cat already ran away, lucky into naoki's direction
"I got the cat.. ribbon on the left side confirmed" She said softly and held onto the cat
"Good, lost cat tora search mission, complete!" Kakashi announced

"Oh~ my cute little Tora-chan I was so worried!" Cried the client
No wonder why it ran away.. team 7 minus kakashi sweat dropped
"Now, kakashi's team 7 your next mission is.. lets see, babysitting an elders baby, help with the garden and -"
"Stop!" Sakura interrupted
"Hokage-sama, can we get a more interesting mission?" She went on
The team agreed, kakashi just sighed.. He knew this was coming sooner or later..
"You just became rookies, everyone starts at the easy duties and SLOWLY works their way up" Iruka scolded them
Yondaime sighed and once again explained the mission giving system, not that they paid much attention to it anyway.. they were to busy thinking of their next meal..
"Tou-chan.. We get it, but we have matured allot during the D-rang missions and we think we are ready." Naoki told her dad
The rest of the team nodded, minus Kakashi who sighed.. again this time together with iruka..
The hokage gave in and gave them a C-rank mission. They had to protect a certain individual, a bridge builder
A man came in, he was the bridge builder he had a sake bottle in on hand and seemed to complaining about the assigned team, especially towards naruto for some reason..
"I'm the super expert bridge builder, tazuna. I expect you to provide me protection until I get back in my country and complete the bridge." Tazuna said
"Super expert bridge builder? More like an drunk old geezer.." naruto whispered with a complaining tone..
Naoki, who was the only one who heard elbowed naruto on the side and warned him to be polite.. even if the client is a brick..

The squad left konoha with the client to the county of waves. Tazuna was walking next to kakashi and naoki was next to him. The other three were in front of them. Sakura was next to sasuke (surprise..) and naruto next to sasuke.
Naruto seemed to be arguing with sasuke like always and sakura was glancing at sasuke but glaring at naruto.. for arguing with sasuke that is
"Hm? So Compared to sasuke, sakura is the short one.. but compared to nii.. they're way taller" Naoki though out loud nodding to herself
"Then what would that make you, naoki? You're shorter than the three of them" Kakashi laughed and placed his hand on her head ruffing her hair
"I'll grow taller than them, just you wait" naoki sulked standing on her toes to be slightly taller, which made kakashi smile even more not that you could see it.. because ya know.. the mask but moving on
"Sensei? Are there confrontations with enemies on a C-rank mission?" Naoki suddenly asked
"Don't worry, there won't be any ninja combat in a C-rank mission" kakashi assured
Tazuna was slightly getting more nervous..
"Then we won't come in contact with foreign ninja's?" Sakura who had been listening asked
"Of course not" kakashi laughed
Tazuna was feeling quilty.. and looked down. This was not overlooked by kakashi.
The group walked pass a puddle of water.. Sasuke and naruto had their eyes on it and kakashi did too.
Without notice people, two to be exact appeared out of the puddle, attacking the jounin. Kakashi got teared to shreds and his everything disappeared
Everyone was in shock to how fast everything happened, naoki was in a better state than anyone, she could sense kakashi somewhere and was relieved that he was still alive.
The enemy locked eyes with the group "one down" they said with a evil smirk
The enemy moved very fast to the next target aka the one most close by, which was Sakura.. they wipped there spiked chain of some sort aiming at sakura but sasuke was already on the move
He jumped, got a shuriken and kunai, he aimed them into the small hole the chain had, then the chain got spiked to the tree. While landing he got the chance to kick them and he did but it didn't do much. The enemy undid their chains so they could move freely. One went over the old man tazuna the other back to sakura
Naoki got into position and had a kunai ready, All she was thinking about was to protect the old man
The enemy got closer and had their mechanic claw right aimed at her, she dodged most of the attacks only getting grazed slightly and unnoticed, she pierced her kunai in his shoulder and kicked him hard and far away when he was close enough
The one on sakura's side was kicked by naruto and sakura was down on her knees trembling her eyes widen, she was very scared.. but who could blame her, everything went so fast she couldn't even properly respond to it.
Just when the two enemies were planing to attack again, sensei came back
"Yo~" kakashi said with both enemies under his arms and smiling his famous eye smile
Kakashi you're alive! Sakura thought so happy she could cry
"You're late!" naoki smiled
Show off.. sasuke thought but with a smirk on his face
"Finally.." naruto said with also a smile
"Sorry, I didn't help right away I had to find something out first, But before that Sasuke, naoki, naruto you did a good job."
Naoki helped sakura up and Tazuna sighed in relief.. sakura was pretty hard on herself, she couldn't do anything.. she had to be protected..
"Now, Tazuna-san.." kakashi began
"W-what is it..?!" Tazuna said panicking just slightly
"I have something to talk to you about." Kakashi said tying the enemies on a three
"These are Chunin from the Village hidded in mist.. they're known for continuing to fight no matter what the sacrifice." Kakashi added
"How were you able to detect our movements?" The chunins said barely hearable through the gas masks
Kakashi explained how it didn't rain for days yet there was a puddle of water on the path
Naruto and sasuke inwardly cheered since they noticed it too.
"Knowing that, why'd you leave it to the kids to fight?" Tazuna questioned
Kakashi once again explained he had to know first who the target of the two was, was the target one of the shinobi or the bridge builder, since the mission said nothing about being targeted by ninjas.
Naoki tried hard to listen to her sensei but her senses where starting to blur.. she held onto the side of her neck where a scar was that wasn't supposed to be there..
When did this?! She thought
the conversation with tazuna was fixed and they decided to go further with the now B-rank mission maybe even A-rank.
now they were on a boat sailing the river
The wound stung here and there but she tried to stay the same and not show the pain.. which failed since one person already found out..
"Nao, are you okay? Did you get wounded?" Naruto asked softly so no one would hear
This guy.. I swear nothing gets pass him ever.. or did kurma tell him? Naoki thought with a chuckle
"I'm fine, just a bit tired" naoki lied praying he wouldn't notice
But even that failed, the poison took over and she passed out..
"Naoki?!" Naruto panicked getting everyone's attention
Kakashi frowned and looked after the girl to look what was wrong. Kakashi may not be a skilled medic ninja but he knew a one or two about poisons.
Kakashi sighed in relief, the poison wasn't deadly or very harmful. You could compare it to a sleeping drug.
"Don't worry, she's not in grave danger. She'll wake up soon and be all good again." Kakashi assured the rest
Naruto then placed the unconditional girl next to him and used his lap as the pillow.
Sasuke frowned.. he wished naoki would tell when things are wrong with her..
The sail continued and tazuna explained a bit more about his situation.
