Troye was working on a Wednesday afternoon, a smile still on his face. It had been there ever since he went to make up with Connor last Thursday. Since then, they'd talked every day, sometimes for hours.

He looked up when the door bell jingled and let out a little squeak, causing Caspar to look over too.

"Oh god." Caspar mumbled, only just having time to move out of the way before Troye rushed past and threw himself at Connor, hugging the green-eyed man tightly.

"I missed you." He whispered, feeling Connor laughing quietly before he tilted Troye's head to kiss him.

"I missed you too." Connor promised. "When does your shift end?"

"Ten minutes. You have perfect timing."

"Great. We're going for a drive when you're done."

"A drive? Where?"

"That's a surprise. You'll just have to wait and see." Connor smiled and tapped Troye's nose with his finger. "Now stop slacking off and get back to work. You've got a customer who could really use a coffee."

"Coming right up." Troye told him, laughing as he went back to his spot behind the counter and turning on the coffee machine.

"So now that you two are a thing, does that mean you're going to go all soppy on me every time he comes in?" Caspar asked. Troye shoved him and shook his head.

"You forget we haven't seen each other in a week. And before that, it was three months. Can you blame us for wanting to be around each other?"

"No. But I can beg you to at least keep the PDA to a minimum. There are children in this cafe."

"Don't worry. I won't do anything to embarrass you." Caspar just laughed and handed over the nearly finished coffee.

"Where's your usual picture on top?" Troye asked with a frown.

"I figured you could put a heart on it or something. You know, for your boyfriend, whom you love so very much."

"Stop teasing." Troye whined but grabbed the things he needed to put a heart on the top of the coffee anyway. Normally, Caspar would just put a fern leaf on the top of the froth, since that was the easiest and least time consuming picture that didn't look like he was trying to flirt. When Troye was satisfied with the heart, he carried it over to where Connor had made himself comfortable in a table by the window. "Here."

"Aww. You put a heart on it. Cute." Connor grinned as Troye blushed a little. "Give me another kiss?"

"Always." Troye leaned down to peck his lips gently before going back to finish his shift. He was kind of glad he was finishing before the local schools let out, which meant he would miss the after-school rush that everyone hated. He clocked off and went back over to Connor, leaning over the back of the chair to kiss his cheek. "I'm all yours."

"I'm glad. Let's go." Connor stood up and took his hand, leading him out the front door.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming today?"

"I wanted to surprise you." As they walked, Connor draped an arm around Troye's shoulders. Among the many things they'd talked about since Troye's visit to London, was what they would do in public. Connor had still been wary of showing off Troye to the media but Troye had proclaimed that he didn't want to keep hiding. He didn't care what people said about him. He wanted everyone to know that Connor was his. That he was Connor's.

"That's sweet. I love surprises." Troye told him, trying to snuggle closer.

"I'll remember that." They approached Connor's car and this time, Troye climbed in without any hesitation.

"Do I get to know now where we're going?"

"Nope. But don't you worry. You'll love it. I promise." Troye pouted until Connor leaned over to kiss him gently, leaving him with a smile on his face.

As they pulled up to a huge house, Troye frowned.

"Where are we?"

"This is my family's estate. It's where my parents and my younger brother, Brandon, still live."

"Okay. But why are we here?"

"Well, it's my sister's Bridal party thing. I figured I could bring you and show you off properly as my boyfriend." Troye eyes went wide.

"Connor! I'm not dressed for this! I'm still wearing what I wore at work. I probably smell bad..."

"Hey, don't stress. I thought about all that. I got your friend, Joe, to let me in to your apartment and I picked up your suit."

"I am so taking his key away..." Troye mumbled but Connor just laughed and kissed him.

"Don't be mad at him. It was only because I wanted to surprise you. If I wanted to, I could have just told you and then he wouldn't have been involved." He pressed a hand to Troye's cheek affectionately. "Come on, let's get you changed so you look pretty."

"You know, I used to hate it when people called me 'pretty'. I thought it was just a term used for girls. But I like it when you call me pretty." Troye told him as they walked up to the front door.

"There's many other things I could call you. But I don't think they're all appropriate right now." Connor admitted and Troye blushed.

"You can call me whatever you want when we're alone. Whenever that will be."

"We don't have to be here long. My sister only wanted me to make an appearance and then I'll do a lap of the crowd before we can head off, if you want."

"Mm. That sounds good." They were coming to a stop in front of a door. "Was this your room?"

"It was. There's not much in it now." Connor replied, pushing the door to reveal a huge room. The walls were white, which only made it look bigger since the only furniture in the room was a big bed in the centre with pale blue covers, and an old oak desk by the window.

"It looks sad."

"It's only because I took a lot of stuff when I left. I wanted my memories with me."

"I did the same when I left my parent's place." Troye wandered over and sat on the bed, looking around. There really was no sign that anyone had ever lived in the room. "So, where's my suit?"

"Just here." Connor went over to what Troye assumed was the closet and pulled it open. The only thing hanging in it was Troye's suit. He took it from Connor and proceeded to change out of his work clothes and into the suit. Connor just waited patiently by the door, his gaze out the window, as if being gentlemanly.

"You can watch, you know. It's not like you haven't seen everything anyway." Connor just laughed and kept his gaze pointedly out the window until Troye went up to him and kissed him."Done."

"You look good. Wait..." Connor dragged him over to another door, opening it to reveal an en-suite bathroom. Inside, he grabbed a bottle of cologne and handed it to Troye. "Here."

"Now I'm just going to smell like you."

"I haven't used this in years. It was just one that I used when I ran out of whatever it was I was using at the time."

"Okay then."

Ten minutes and several kisses later, they were emerging into the back garden hand-in-hand. Troye's smile was still present, made even bigger by the fact that he was standing so close to Connor.

"Connor!" Nicola spotted them instantly and came wobbling over, her high heels sinking in the grass a little. "Oh, and Troye too. It's nice to see you again." She hugged both of them.

"Congratulations on your engagement." Troye said when she hugged him.

"Thank you. I'm so excited." She grinned. "And it's good to see that you're together now. Con's been so mopey."

"Have not. I just am not interested in searching through thousands of dresses and colour palates to find the matching colours." Connor defended himself.

"If that's what you tell yourself." Troye grinned, seeing the banter between the siblings.

"Okay, we're going to go and say 'hi' to some people. Enjoy the party." Connor wrapped an around around Troye's waist, gently guiding him around the garden.

Troye couldn't help the butterflies in his stomach every time he heard Connor introduce him as his boyfriend. They were practically joined at the hip the whole time they were there and many people commented on how cute they looked together. By the time they left, Troye felt like he was more in love with Connor than ever before.
