First comes love
Then come marriage
Next comes a divorce
Because the father isn't him
The mother isn't right
The drugs are an issue
And so is the screaming
That he put up with for months
The baby was the last straw
Wouldn't have been completely
Had she at least known
Who the real father was
So with the belly
It's unhealthy to drink
To smoke
With the little girl inside you
But she doesn't care
It's her life
Not the baby's
Husband gives up
Leaves
She leaves too
Leaves the world
More easy that way
And she was always known
For take the easy way out
But the baby will never be known
The baby never had a chance
