I hum along to the music playing through my earphones. I had just gotten back from a trip back home early and want to surprise Josh. I was scheduled to come back home next week so Josh should be pretty excited. I pull my earphones out of my ears and start to unlock the door when I hear a panicked gasp. I shake my head and blow it off. It just probably Josh wondering what's happing. I mean, I would be pretty scared if someone just started messing with my doorknob. I finish unlocking the door and get ready to see the love of my life after three weeks.
"Josh! I'm home early!"
I look over and see Josh jump off the couch and run to me. I engulf him in a hug and smell what smells like feminine perfume.
"Josh?"
I wiggle out of his grasp and look at him.
"Why do you smell like feminine perfume....?"
Josh shakes his head and laughs.
"You probably smell your own love."
I shake my head and take a deep breath.
"You're probably right. I couldn't sleep on the plane ride back so I'm probably delirious right now."
He kisses the top of my head and shrugs.
"Do you want to go to bed?"
I nod.
"Yeah. I'm going to take a little nap."
He smiles and takes a seat on the couch. I roll my suitcase to our room and flop down on the bed. I rub my face and groan. I should probably take my makeup off before I sleep. I slip into our bathroom that's connected to our bedroom get a towelette that I use to wash off my makeup. I go to wipe off my eyeshadow when I hear a noise come from the shower. I stop, panicked and confused. I drop my towelette on the counter and slowly make my way to the shower. I grab the handle and swing the door open to find a lady, close to my age or older, naked in our shower. She gives me an panicked look and tried to run but I grab her by the hair and pull her towards me.
"What the hell are you doing in my house?!"
She starts laughing nervously and grabs onto my wrist to try and break my grip. I pull on her hair which makes her yelp.
"I'm Kasy! I work-"
I roll my eyes and tighten my grip on her hair.
"I don't care what your name is or where you fucking work! Why are you in. My. House!"
I hear the bathroom door open and see Josh rush in. His eyes go wide and fill with panic.
"Josh! Help me pl-"
I pull on her hair and glare at Josh.
"I swear to god Joshua William Dun if you are cheating on me I'm going to throw all your shit out."
Josh rubs the back of his neck and sighs. I let go of Kasy's hair and apologize. I shouldn't be mad at her. I should be mad at the man who brought another woman into our bed.
"Josh. Are you serious?!"
He takes a few steps close to me but I push him away.
"You were gone for a while and how was I supposed to cope with you being gone?"
I laugh and walk out the bathroom door to our bedroom. I grab his suitcase and throw is towards him.
"Josh don't even give me that excuse. You are gone for MONTHS on end!"
He sighs and starts apologizing but I yell at him to shut up.
"Kasy! Did he ever tell you that he was dating someone?"
She pokes her head out the bathroom and shakes her head.
"He told me he was single."
I look at Josh and point towards the front door.
"Go."
"(Y/N) plea-"
"Go!"
I throw he clothes out to the living room and slam our bedroom door. Kasy pokes her head out of the bathroom and looks at me in fear.
"Kasy, I have no reason to be mad at you. Do you need clothes?"
She nods her head and smiles. I rub my face and get around some pajamas I had in my dresser. I toss them to her and fall on my bed. Kasy quietly closes the door and walks out a few moments later.
"Why are you being so nice to me? I was the girl your boyfriend cheated on with."
I sigh and roll over so I'm facing up.
"Josh is an attractive guy. He head a lot that a girl would want. He told you he was single when he wasn't. You didn't know. I have no reason to be mad at you."
She smiles and gets up.
"Well, do you need someone for comfort? I can make some hot coco and we can order brownies and get ice cream."
I smile and nod.
"You know what Kasy, that sounds good."

Three months later...
I laugh at the joke Kasy told me when my phone dings. I glance over at it and see the wretched mans name on my screen.
"Oh god."
Kasy takes a sip of her tea and looks at me worried.
"Is everything okay (Y/N)?"
I pick up my phone and face the screen towards her. She groans and rolls her eyes.
"Ignore and block! He don't need your fine ass! Anyways, aren't you dating..."
"Chris. And no, we're just talking. Kasy he's an actor you know this!"
She laughs and shrugs.
"Hey! I'm just saying he met you when you were on your fifth break up cupcake so I mean I think he's seen it all."
I laughs and open the text.
Hey. I know you probably don't wanna hear from me but I wanna go out and get a cup of coffee. Maybe start over?

I roll my eyes and type out a quick no. Nothing else. No paragraph. Just a no. He doesn't deserve my time. I turn my phone off and pick up my brownie when my phone dings again. I groan, thinking it's Josh with some dumb excuse but I smile when I see Chris's name pop up.
"Really? You have Chris as his famous character he portrays?"
I smile and grab my phone.
"Listen. He makes a hell of a Captain American. And honestly he's my Captain American after pulling me out of the hole I dug after Josh betrayed me."
"He's your boyfriend."
Kasy takes a sip of her coffee and I kick her under the table. She covers her mouth to keep her from spitting out her coffee.
"Fine. He's your future husband."
I groan and rub my face while Kasy laughs. Josh may have betrayed me and broke my heart, but he brought me a best friend and roommate along with an amazing man I met in a small bakery. He happens to be an actor and an amazing man.

yes it is Chris Evans I love him very much and I want to hug him and tell him how much I love him because YES PLEASE. also yes I am slow with updates but I recently had a family friend pass away last Friday and then I was bombarded with the end of the school year. But, I'm on Summer break and summer school is only half a day so, yay! Much love to all of you guys :) <3
