Before my mind could process what was happening, I was running to the water. I pushed through the crowd of people and dived in. Sara's body was floating motionless in the clear water. I swam as fast as I could over to her, pulling her in my arms. I quickly got out the water and layed her body on one of the closet towels I could find.

I pushed down on her chest but got no response.

EM's yelled for me to move while they placed her on the bed. I ran as fast as I could back to Jamie and Sadie (who were looking at me with a shocked face) and I started packing up Sara, Al, and I's things.

"What happened?" Sadie asked.

"She drowned." I said zipping up the bag. "I'll text you the room number once we get there."

"Okay. Good luck." Said Jamie. I sent them a small smile and nod before picking up Al.

The sound of sirens left the area and my heart was still racing. I buckled Al up and hopped in the front, not even putting on my seatbelt, and drove off.

By the time we had gotten to the hospital, it was crowded with new reporters and people. I cursed and grabbed the bag out the back, and also placed Al on my hip.

"Daddy, what happened to Sara?" Al asked.

"Something bad." I said before approaching the crowd. They asked questions and took pictures, but I just ignored them and forced my way through the people.

When I got in the lobby, some nurses grabbed me by the arm and escorted me to the back hall.

"What room?" I asked.

"First, right here."

I nodded and walked in. Sara was sitting up on the bed and I let out a relieved sigh.

"Bloody hell." I whispered putting Al in the chair by the bed. I leaned down and wrapped my arms around her tightly, kissing her forehead. "Thank God you're okay."

"Yeah? I'm fine, but I'm one hundred percent sure that I'll never get in water again." She said making us laugh, including Al who sat beside Sara now, her head on Sara's shoulder.

"Daddy said we're having a party when we get home." Al said.

"It was supposed to be a surprise, Aliby!" I whisper-yelled.

"Sorry." She whispered. "You know I'm not good with secrets."

I chuckled. "My parents invited everyone to their house for a little get together. Little barbque, little football, little swimming —"

"No! No, no, no. Never in a million years." Sara said, cutting me off.

"Oh come on. It wont be that bad."

"No Edward!"

"Will you at least get in the hot tub with me?"

"Fine, fine." She said.

"Yay." I said with a grin. She just laughed and wrapped and arm around Aly.

"So, Miss Styles, how are you?"

Miss Styles, reminds me of B — nevermind.

I moved Aly and sat her on my lap, sitting by Sara, who placed her head on my shoulder. I took out my phone and took a picture of the picturesque moment, uploading it to twitter.

Ed_Styles : she's okay :)

I texted Jamie the room number and we stayed in the hospital room all night. Or at least until the nurses told us to go.

-

Sara was released at twelve the next evening and I already had our bags packed up so al we had to do was go to the airport and through the checking points before 2. So I went a little over the speed limit, but it was safe. And we got their safely.

-

By the time we'd made it back to London it was 10 p.m. and surprisingly hot. Not hot, but you know, London is usually on the colder sides, seeing as it's right by the ocean.

Sara and Al were asleep in the back seat of my car, which was dropped off at the airport, so I threw a blanket we had packed over them and got back into the drivers seat.

As I was driving home, I couldn't help but think about all the things that had occurred recently and also beforehand.

Then my mind slipped to Blair — usual now.

It seems that everythime I try to convince to her that I love her, she would either push me away of deny it. Its not like I didn't love her, I do. A lot actually. She's the one who threw us away. Its not my fault I wasn't good enough.

-

The next morning I woke up to my phone vibrating on the night stand. I sat up and rubbed my eyes before answering it.

"Hello?" I said, wiping the sleep out of my eyes.

"Edward! We've been hittin' you up all mornin', mate! When you plan on comin'?" Thadd asked, I can tell. His accent is stronger than Chad's.

"Coming where?"

"To your parents, mate. Cookout started about thirty-five minutes ago."

"What time is it?"

"Uhh, 12.45."

"Ugh. Shit. Slept in. Give me like 20 minutes. We'll be there."

"Okay. Hurry up. We're about to start grilling."

I hung up the phone and sat up in the bed. Sara was still sleeping beside me, curled up tightly. After waking her and making her get up, I walked to Al's room. When I opened the door, I expected to see a little girl with rosey cheeks curled under her duvet. Instead, everything was made. The bed was fixed, the curtins were open, and the blinds were up.

I nearly passed out.

Why isn't Al in bed? She probably woke up early and got hungry. Yeah. That's all it is.

After convincing myself she was still in the house, I rushed down stairs and there she was. She was right in the kitchen, spreading Marmite across toast. After she was finished she licked the spoon, threw it in the dishwasher, and started placing the cups on the table. After that, plates. Each plate had two toast (one for Aly) covered in Marmite, a couple of strawberries, some pre cut green apples, and about three spoonfuls of Nutella on the side. In the cups we got iced Yorkshire tea.

Its surprising how different Aly is. She doesn't ask for Barbie dolls or crayons like normal four year old girls, but then again, who said I wanted a normal four year old girl? I wanted my Al.

"Baby. . ." Al turned and smiled up at me, "this looks fantastic, you know?"

"I know, because I did it." She said.

I chuckled and lifted her, placing her on my hip. I pushed her long, chestnut coloured hair from her face and she sent me a smile.

"I'm so proud of you." I said, sitting down with her on my lap. "You don't know how happy it makes me to wake up and see your little smile in the morning."

"I love you, too, daddy. Very, very much." She said, nodding as if she approved. I chuckled and placed the lightest kiss on her forehead before hugging her again.

Sara came down stairs at that time, well she was down before, but I didn't notice. She sent me a smile and I couldn't help but return it. Sara has one of those smiles that you cant help smile back to. Like Niall's laugh. When Niall laughs, everyone laughs.

It was 12.23 by the time we finished getting ready. I had a bag with extra things in it like bathing suits and extra clothes, sun block, hair ties, ectrea. The weather went from cold to snowing to hot, gosh, London needs to make up its mind. I decided on wearing something simple. A black Polo, some dark khaki shorts, and my Nike's. Al wore a pair of red, cuffed skinny jeans, white Keds, and a navy blue shirt, a white and navy blue spotted bow in her hair that was waved, half up, half down. Sara wore some caprice, Sperry's, and a yellow Panic! At the Disco t-shirt. Her hair in a ponytail.

-

When we got to my parents house, we went right out back to the little picnic/court area by the grass and away from the pool. Blair was here, but she wasn't alone.

Blair was here with him.

When he saw me, he sent me a smug smirk and this little bastard —

"Edward!" Joey said reaching her arms up to hug me. I watched as her eyes filled with worry and sadness but I didn't question it. I just hugged her because that is what she wanted.

"I cant believe she did this." She whispered to me.

"I know." I replied before pulling away. I took a seat at the picnic table and looked over to the grill, where all of our fathers were at.

"Eddy!" Yelled a feminine voice.

I turned and Leia ran up to me, hugging me tightly. She's always so busy with UNI and me with work I don't see her much. Titan either and he was next to give me a hug.

"Well if it isn't the man I'm named after."

I chuckled at Jr's way of addressing me and gave him a hug as well. Steven watched Jr as he sat by Joey. Jr still had no idea that was his father.

"Edward, you look great." Perrie said.

I smiled with a nod, knowing she's reffereing to a few days ago when I was sobbing my heart on my mom's lap. "Thank you. You look as good as every Perrie. Never ageing, are you?"

She blushed and waved me off. "Oh please."

"Edward, Joey, its a pleasure seeing you both." Steven said.

"Sure." I said drinking my lemonade.

There was a silence and then a loud noise came from the old treehouse. The kids all peeped out the window and waved over to Sara, Aly, and I.

"You don't want to go up there with the other kids?" I asked Al, who shook her head and leaned into me closer. "Mm'k."

"You should make her." Blair said.

"I'm not making her do anything."

"She won't make friends like that."

"She will. And I won't force her." I said.

"Hmm." Blair said raising her eyes brows at me. "So she's just like you."

"Excuse me?"

"She's just like you."

"And how is that?" I asked.

"She's hopeless."

It didn't surprise me that she would say something like that, but it did that she said it infront of her daughter. It's a pretty low and shitty thing to do.

"At least she's not hopeless and bitchy like you. That'd just be terrible." I said. "I didn't come here to fight with you."

"You're doing it now."

"And you aren't helping."

"God, I cant wait until this divorce is finalized."

"Why? We were married and you cheated. What's the difference?" I said.

"How's about we all just talk about something else, yeah?" My mom said.

"No. Let her talk." I said. "I wanna hear this."

My phone was blowing up, along with Blair's. I took mine out, looking at the tweets flying in talking about Blair and I's divorce which aired today.

"Who is it? Side chick number two?"

"I could ask you the same but I have manners. And its about our divorce anyway." I stated.

"Good. Fucking asshole." She muttered drinking her lemonade.

I just huffed with a smile. She thinks I'm gonna lash at her but I don't have time for her childishness and bitchy ways right now.

"So Edward, how was it in New York?" My mom asked after a bit of silence.

"Oh, it was great. Al even went on stage aand talked with the microphone." I said.

"Aly, you did?" Mom asked surprised.

Al blushed and hid into my side, making the table chuckle (except Blair and Steven of course). I pulled Al onto my lap and she hid her face.

"Was it fun?" My mom asked.

Al moved her hands and nodded. "People gave me pictures of me and daddy, and some of just daddy, and some of Sara, daddy, and I. It was so cool. Then we went to. . .uhh. . .daddy, what was that place with Sadie and Jamie and the other Sara?"

"Miami."

"Yeah. We went to Miami. I made a friends named Sara, not this Sara though, and we made this huge sand castle. Then daddy truer to teach me how to swim, and he showed me some fishes. But Sara got in an accident and we had to go to the hospital, but that was okay because she's okay. And earlier that day Sara said he went to go visit his friend Victoria." Al rambled.

"You went to see Tori?" My mom asked me.

I nodded. "I saw mama Welch, too. She told me to tell you hi."

"Oh that's nice." She smiled.

"You won't believe who's staying in our house." I said.

"Who?"

"Diane Walker."

"Richard's mum." My mom asked, her eyes widening.

"Yeah. She invited me in for tea and we talked for a bit. It was nice. I don't understand what made Richard so crazy when his mother's an angel." I said. My mom shrugged and shook her head with a look that read 'who knows'.

"I say, of you're gettin' in da pool, do it now 'cause da food won't be done for a while." Niall said from the grill. He didn't seem to happy about that.

-

Sara and I sat by each other in the hot tub, her head on my shoulder and my arm wrapped around her. It was nice, the silence I mean. The kids ran about until they were sleepy and ended up taking a nap. Al was just sleepy so she went to sleep. Everyone else was in the pool except Sara, Joey, Beau, Jr, and I. Jr was helping with the grilling but he was on the outside of the hot tub because Jo called him over.

"So that's him?" Jr asked.

"Yeah." Jo said, looking down at the water.

"Its alright mum." Jr said.

"No its not. You are twenty years old and I just — I should've told you sooner and —"

"Mum, look at me." Jr said. Jo looked up at him and he wiped her face. "You are a beautiful person, you have a beautiful soul, and you were just doing it to protect me, or maybe you weren't ready, but it doesn't matter okay?" She nodded. "Plus, Beau is a better dad anyway."

"Thatta boy." Beau said fist pumping Jr. We all chuckled.

"Jr, I need you to get the barbaque out the fridge!" Liam yelled.

"Have fun." Jr said kissing Joey's cheek and walking off.

"I'm so lucky to have a son like him." Jo said leaning her head on Beau's shoulder, he smiled down at her and wrapped an arm around her. They love each other so much. I remember when I was in love. I should put these thoughts aside.

After getting out the pools, we all sat at the picnic tables together, holding hands.

"- Amen." My father said, blessing the food. We all repeated before digging in. My phone rang while I was eating and I rolled my eyes. I'm off today, who's calling me?

Unknown Number

Who the hell. . .

"Hello?"

"Hi, this is an automated voice mail from Visa Credit to inform you of your credit card balance. Card 238725." That's my credit card number. "Your balance is 4,328 pounds. It you would like any further infor —"

"What the fuck?!" I yelled slamming my phone on the table, making everyone jump in surprise.

"Edward —"

I inturupted my mother and looked right at Blair. I could feel my face turning red in anger.

"You blew my fucking credit card?!" I yelled at her.

"Look, Ed, I only used a couple thousand —"

"No! You used a couple million!" I yelled.

"Edward, calm down honey. How much is left in your account? It cant be that bad." My mother said.

"Barley four thousand!"

Her eyes widened in shock as well as the rest of the table.

"Edward," Blair said, "I just bought a few things."

"What could you have possibly bought that's cost so much?!"

"A Bougotti and a house." She saod shrugging.

"What type of house?"

"In Shady Hills."

"A fucking mansion! Of course you did! When I put you on my card bond, I didn't expect you to blow my money!" I yelled.

"I'll get you your money back —"

"Damn straight!" I yelled, getting up.

"Where are you going?" Sara asked.

"I don't know!" I yelled before walking off.

I heard someone else get up and follow after me but I am livid and I don't want to talk to anyone right now. I walked up stairs to my old room and slammed the door shut.

Everything has just been terrible. Everything right now is just so fucked and I don't know what to do anymore.

The door opened slowly and Sara poked her head in. I lie on the bed staring at the bunk above it. Sara stepped in and closed the door behind her. She walked over to me and poked my face. I tried to ignore her but I ended up laughing. She crawled into the bed beside me and I smiled over at her and she sent it back.

"I'm sorry." She said, leaning up on her elbow.

"It's fine. I just need to — I just — I don't know." I said.

"Let's just lay here." She said. I nodded and she kissed the corner of my lips.

"If I just lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world?" I sang.

"You know a song for every situation." Sara laughed.

"I believe I do, yeah." I chuckled.

"You're so cute." She said running her finger over my dimple.

"Stop." I blushed.

"Sometimes I just want to pinch your cute little cheeks." She said squeezing a section of my cheeks. "And play with your soft hair." She ran her hand through my hair and I hummed, closing my hair.

"I love when people play with my hair." I admitted, wrapping my arms around Sara's torso and laying my head on her stomach. Sara giggled and kept dragging her nails over my scalp making me close my eyes.

"You make me really happy." She says. I smiled.

"You make me happy too."

It was unbelievable how happy she makes me. She laughs at my stupid jokes, she doesn't take things too seriously, she has a beautiful body with lushest curves. Her eyes are the brightest and happyest blue I've ever seen. And her skin is just so soft. She's not perfect, but she's Sara.

A/N:

I know some of you have been wondering where the hell we've been, but of you didn't read HSS then you wouldn't know that one of our friends, basically brother, has a brain tumor and it just so happened to have gotten worse. I know its been a long time, but seriously, we could lose him and spamming us to update isn't the smartest thing to do right now.

I'm not trying to be bitchy, I just need you lot to realize there is a large difference between a book and reality.

Reality is real, and reality sucks.
