You wrote me a poem,
I decided to write back,
Because you named off some nice traits of mine,
And I never wrote you back.
When I first saw you,
I first saw your eyes,
I wasn't looking at your thighs,
Because the space between them doesn't matter to me,
Those bright blue eyes,
So full if life,
You may not see it,
Trust me, it's hidden deep inside.
I love how you can deal with me,
All of my random quirks,
I live for that smile,
The laugh and all the works,
Silly llama socks,
Rolled up jeans,
Because you're at least a foot taller than me,
But it's cute,
And I love it,
I love everything about you,
The things you hate are still beautiful,
In my world,
My line of sight,
I find nothing to dislike.
I can't use fancy imagery,
All I have are words,
Scribbled on a page in my mind but they fly away like birds,
Letters bend into only one shape,
That I can see,
I keep it close to me,
Try to figure out what it means,
It's someone tall and beautiful,
Shy with eyes so full,
Of life and so much more,
Compared to you I must make eyes so sore.
I love your hair,
And personality,
But you're more than eyes can see,
Forget about weight,
Low numbers doesn't equal beauty,
You're more than numbers,
Because numbers are lame,
So the name of the game,
Is that I'd love you just the same,
And for these feelings of love?
Only you I can blame.
I'll admit it first,
Your poem was better than mine,
But there are words I still can't find,
Your traits are too amazing,
To put into words,
I've tried stringing some together,
I hope these work,
But for now I'll put away my pen,
But if course this is digital,
I suppose it doesn't matter then,
Rhyming is too difficult.
